Pls I need answers too. I have dated a girl for 4years now. One day as I was coming to visit her, I was robbed of everything I had with me. I was lucky cos I was already near her abode. When I got to her house, she was all sympathetic, she petted me. I hinted that everything, absolutely everything I had was stolen, but all she offered was her sympathy. I was too proud to ask her for food cos I was so hungry and also for transport money to go to the nearest bank and try to withdraw money without my atm. After staying there for hours, and all she was offering was sympathy, I decided to act, so I told her I was leaving for the bank. She said good bye and offered more sympathy and I left. After wandering around, I couldn't find any bank around where she is residing so I decided to swallow my pride and go back to her place. When I got there, she was eating crinchies fried rice and chicken. When I asked her why she was being that insensitive, she got angry with me. Pls what should I do?

Pls @ posted, what u just narrated is somehow unbelievable in that if this guy has been exhibiting this level of stinginess, how could u cope with him for 4 good years? But if its true, all the people critising you esp the boys shld help advice the guy in the narrative, that he shldnt be such a long throat and shouldn't be depending on his gf for any form of assistance.

Everytime I read through this column, I hear guys saying this and that about girls being gold diggers, etc. I have a girl friend, a student that has been dating a guy 4 somtime now. Everytime she comes to visit the guy, he would ask her after atleast 30mins of being with him whether she wants a drink. And on one occassion, she said yes and he went, opened his fridge and brought out pure that smells like rotten onions, Anyway, am just thinking that girls deserve better, if a girl marries u, she is giving up everything for u. She will take up ur name, bear u children, so I think she really ought to be pampered and not the other way around,

Becos i recently had our baby, we cldn't be intimate 4 a while, not becos i didnt want 2 bt becos the doctor said so and he was all willing 2 cooperate. If he was dat desperate, he shld've discussed abt it with me and not leave me all alone while he is out with other girls.

@ agitator, i didn't force myself on him. I never lived with him or move in with him until we got married. I didnt marry him becos he was rich but because he was kind, and was like a father 2 me. Shld i have said no just because he was rich? I never knw he was a cheat and i didn't even suspect he was cheating on me.

@ all, thanks 4 ur comments, i can marry a disabled person too cos i have had the priviledge of knwing one ( she wasn't born deaf) , she is so caring and a perfect friend despite the fact dat she was so cold 2 me (my assumption) when we first met.

My friend doesn't feel like someone can truely love her and never get tired of her, she doesn't socialize, and she gets alot of male attention becos she is attractive, but she feels lyk they will reject her once they find out abt her disability. So i just posted this topic to help her discover pple's opinion on her predicament.

I agree with u. Girls need 2 also do some investigations b4 they go into marriage. We shldnt allow ourselves to be treated like properties that doesn't have any choice but 2 go 2 the highest bidder.
