It's like if u'r refering to d lady today at Bestwestern, Lagos, her own case is a clear case of forgery. She photocopied someone's stamt of result from a secondary school, tipexed d name on it, typed her name on it and then laminated it.

Besides, the list pasted at Bestwestern shows dey are to interview 337 candidates today and tommorow.

ciscaos: my dear, i was told panel 4,10 and 12 are strict wit their interview. panelist in 5 and 11 are simple people.did they ask u to reduce your figures?

They just implied dat by saying, ''make sure u manage well whatever u are offered. We can see u av experience and passion for d business''.

Of course I did dat but normally dr job is to make u feel bad abt ur plan. It was trying to be psychological to detect sth. Besides, my experience has always shown in d past dat dispositions of penelists at any panel interview do not av causal effect on d outcome.

Can financial experts in d house pls explain to me if i sud include in my implementation cost any part of d profit made during d year and used to augement d operating cost?

For example, if my operating cost is initially N3.8m and I later add N5.2m from my profit during d year totalling N10m operating cost and Fixed Cost N4m, sud I say my implementation cost is now N14m (10+4) or N7.8m (3.8+4)?

ahaika23: Enugu center is around 700 people. Interview days 1-6. There is d possibility of cash reduction, and disqualification. A lady had issues cos she had many names on her different documents. She was asked to go swear an affidavit. I also over-heard one of the interviewers complaining of a candidate saying he intends to buy feed and sell. That how will such a business add value and create jobs. However if you can sell your proposed business properly no one will deny you your grant.

700 people at Enugu centre alone?! When we still have Lagos and Abuja centres?! Assuming we multiply dat by 3 centres, dat's 2100. Oh God, come see us through!

edundayo: I think you might have made up your own question, because the correct question in the template is "How and/or when will the business make profit?"
And the answer should be something like; when your sales income exceeds your total operational expenses (state the month you will achieve that), that is; a point where you have confidentlly made sales well above your Breakeven point.

A friend who knows an insider in YouWiN at Abuja called and told me d very day we got d interview notificatn dat d person informed him dat dose of us who got d notificatn are d 1200 winners. He told me dis even b4 I told him I had got dr message. When I asked him as to why d interview, he said dey want to use dat to disqualify dose who may not b able to defend dr proposals. But when I kept asking him more questns, he just told he had told me all dat d person told him.

@blink182, I'v been observing u and I discovered dat u'r too overconfident in ur ability and arrogant in ur disposition. These aint d qualities of a destined-to-succeed man God has made u to be.

Try to always calm ur cool, consider oda pple's pieces of advice, take ur time and analyse issues or anyfin b4 u react. If I can still remember, u submitted ur proposal d first day YouWiN opened dr site for application? Dat ur beautiful idea/plan cud av been ranked d best if u had taken ur time b4 u submitted. Now keep a cool head as u'r abt to actualize ur biz plan.

Young man, this is just an advice for u and even all of us. Note dat 'if u calm ur eyes, u'll see ur nose', goes d Yoruba adage. I wish u and all of us d very best.

I was actually doing the biz registration stuff at the CAC office in Ibadan yesterday when I got the Interview invite mail. I paid N750 in total: N500 for name search availability and N250 for biz name registration as a YouWiN applicant. I was asked to pay the N10,000 registration fee to complete the process immediately but I was not financially muscular. It seems nah express road registration dey take for YouWiN applicant in Ibadan o! I am trying to run around to pay and complete it ASAP.

Congrats to dose of us selected and all the thanks to God our Creator alone. To those not selected, just say 'may God bless ours for us' and He shall do sth bigger and better for u too very soon. Yes, very soon by His grace.

Now I have questions. Is it that those of us that got d email now are d ones in the final list of 1200 or is it that they selected more than that from which they will select d final 1200? because my email reads 'NOTIFICATION OF SELECTION FOR YouWiN INTERVIEW'. Can someone who is sure clarify this from any past winner pls? because I'm still a little bit sceptical o.

Going by the various permutations we've had on this thread using when the list was out last year and baring any last minute change of mind, this year's list should be out anytime from 12am 2moro. No be so?

That name search you mentioned, is it dat I will search online for the two names myself or I will go to the CAC office to that? Moreso, how and where do I pay the N500 name search fee?
