Under law nothing built on illegality can stand-as it was shown by the desolation of the panel by a court of competent jurisdiction. Therefore, by partaking in such forum that is not recognised by any giving law is acting in support of illegality. The Oputa panel even at its initial stage did not in any possible way addressed the reasons you highlighted above-let's take the kudirat/almustapha scenerio whereby the two persons that carried out her murder were absolved by the panel and almustapha whom was alleged to be the chief conspirator was viewed with the cloak of a murderer, eventhough he denied involvement. Oputa panel? Oputa panel was just a kangaroo panel extra-judicialy set by Obj, it lacks the constitutional mandate to summon any Nigerian to stand before it. So legally Buhari is right to decline attendance of such a market gathering, set up by Obj to embarrass his percieved political enemies. In numerical value the south can never be more populated than the north.
