Nice article, but I think they did not anticipate characters like the FCT minister who may not always heed advice. Hence for me, security details should be able to directly challenge and refuse orders from politically exposed pers when needed

For instance I read that in the US, the SS can override the instructions of the president when such actions can prevent imminent danger to his life.

So in this case, that the security details allowed him proceed to the disputed venue is bad enough, but as things began to escalate and tempers flare, it was expected they immediately - physically, if need be - remove him from that environment.

This is unacceptable. There is nothing like a repentant terrorist. If they are truly repentant, they should send them to some farm or industry far away from where they are familiar with. Maybe a farm in Osun or Ogun State or pipeline building in the AKK corridor for cheap labour or to work on the eastern railway line.
