This thread is sequel to that of yesterday which shows a cross section of the reaction of Benue indigenes to Kanu's most recent provocative comments regarding the state.

As usual, his supporters tried to make rubbish of the thread, albeit unsuccessfully, claiming I rigged the comments, posting only those critical of their leader. I then went ahead and posted the link to the facebook page itself so they can visit and see things for themselves. Seeing that the thread was genuine and no comments were cropped out by me as they alleged, they shifted the goalposts to say 90% of the respondents were Tiv people and that when Kanu made his comment, he was referring to the Idomas and Igedes!

I couldn't stop laughing at their folly, and for that reason, I have decided to create a followup thread which captures the feeling of the Idoma nation as regards biafra. This is coming from the APEX Idoma socioeconomic cultural organisation.

It is my hope that with this, IPOB, Kanu, and his supporters wherever they may be, would give their forceful inclusion of uninterested tribes and people in their secession agenda a rest.

Here we go..

Idoma National Forum, the apex-social economic group of Idoma community, has slammed the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, for claiming the community is part of Biafra territory.

President of the forum, Barrister Amali Amali, said anyone who hold the view that the Idoma community is part of Biafra territory is insane and should visit a psychiatrist home.

Amali was reacting to the recent claim by the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who declared that Idoma is part of Biafra land.

Kanu had said, “In line with this remarkable sit at home, I will not hesitate to congratulate the people of Abia state, Anambra state, Akwa Ibom state, Bayelsa state, Cross River state, Delta state, Ebonyi state, Enugu state, Imo state, Rivers state including the good people of Igbanke in Edo state, Igala clan in Kogi state and Idoma/Igede/Agatu ( i wonder who deceived Kanu that the Idoma or Igede people observed the sit at home )in Benue state for sending a clear and unmistakable message to the whole world that this Biafra self determination effort driven by IPOB is uncompromising"

Speaking with DAILY POST Tuesday evening, the INF chairman said those who claimed Idoma community is part of Biafra territory were not born during the civil war.

According to him, Idoma men were part of the federal troops that waged war against the Biafran soldiers and have never supported idea of a divided Nigeria.

“Whoever says Idoma community is part of Biafra is insane and must visit the nearest psychiatrist home. These people making such claim were not around during the civil war.

“Idoma men were among the federal troops that fought against the Biafran warlords. We have never been part of Biafra and anyone who thinks we are must be out of his mind.”

When reminded that some persons are of the opinion that it would be better if Idoma supports the Biafran struggle, he affirmed that Biafra is dead and buried.

“There is nothing like Biafra. The country died February 1970 and has since been buried and forgotten. Those clamouring for the rebirth of Biafra are just kids looking for cheap popularity,” he concluded.

This oil bloc stuff got me thinking. Seem the oil bloc is just like a well of water where as many buckets is taken but minimal numbers of bucket is remitted to the government. Let me make my understanding vivid; you dug a well in your compound knowing fully well you can take out as many bucket of water as you wish, and decided to be giving out just 10litres to the government.

From the above, those with oil blocs can single handedly buy Dubai but refused to develop Nigeria.
