The half length she's talking about is actually on d skirt and it is usually measured @ a point above d knee..........this part is very improtant cos it helps easy movement and prevent knee lock. I was tot dat it is 19 inches from d waist

1. Is it difficult to learn?
2. How many months or years will it take me to fully acquire this skill.

Learning isn't difficult,like it was stated earlier,its gt to do wiv creativity and also ur passion.............ur passion is very important as this will make u stay and try harder rather dn give up when u feel u r nt getting it ryt .............it takes as long as u want........basically,all u need Is d basics then ur creativity cums in2 play..............and lastly,like my boss will say,any error made by a designer is a fashion statement,so feel free and have 4n

YH,I know its nt,dts y there's room 4 improvement,I mean,if an Italian,a Mexican,Columbian or a Puerto Rican can switch,wt do our own ppl? ..........m nt saying dy shld loose d aCcents wn actually speaking d natives,buh wn speaking English,I wna hear "chat" instead of "shat". Well,Uve sed a lot,buh on a more personal ground,I can't stand a man wu will incorporate his indigenous accent in2 English,sorry 4 Prolly being shallow,buh it jst bursts my mojo...................evn if he's built as an Adonis,once I detect any funny accent,igbo,yoruba wteva,his ass is on d line,and d tripping is cut short

Morn'n Aunt Val,d class has really bin enlightening,but there's smfin dt still confuses me about d cowl neck,wn I made mine,I was told to fold some inches of the fabric in,before measuring d length,but u did do any of that,is it dt there are various ways to it...........and also,after I have made mine,I always had to gather d excess part in d middle,but I c dt Urs doesn't have to be dt way,so Pls,cn u explain some more,what happens to d excess fabric @ d lower part of the Cloth [/color][color=#770077]
