DeclanR:Hey bruv, please take it easy on yourself. You are much stronger than you think and you don't need to exit quietly because you still have a great future ahead, if you will just hold on to hope and God's word. We can talk about anything you are going through, a problem shared is half solved. |
Your problem is more of psychiatric/psychological (I learnt this from my doctor and it looks real). You can look for an experienced Psychiatrist to talk with, he may be able to point your problem to you Babysho: |

I am having an invitation to visit Georgia, please, do I need a visa? I have been getting conflicting answers from the Internet |
Thanks very much. The conference is professional and I have attended similar conferences in Kenya and South Africa years back. i did not spend more than 2 weeks each. On my ties to the country: I lead a religious organisation and I am on the Trustees board. Also, I sit on the director board of an educational organisation (shareholder). Married with children, all schooling in Nigeria presently. I am not on salary, but I earn close to 450k monthly, but have irregular earnings that could shoot above or slightly below 1M some months. Averagely my monthly account turn over is between 2-2.5M giselle237: |
Please, I have an invitation to attend a conference in the UK in May 2026. It is my first time to apply for a Visa outside Africa. I have travelled to 6 other African countries. 1. Please what is the reasonable monthly turn over my account should have? 2. What is the reasonable account balance? 3. Can a Nigerian write to sponsor me or it has to be someone in the UK? Thanks |
Miamor is the one on parole now. No go d Miamor,if not OTILO |
They should raise help by looking for how to take him to a psychiatric hospital. Within few months he may recover |
VDM does not have the authority to do what he did and he could be arrested, prosecuted and punished. Law is not about emotion. Dangote as a person is not in any way responsible for what the Dangote Company truck drivers do. You can attach him to the company because it's named after him. Who do you hold responsible if Total Truck is involved in an accident. |
Uninspired:Hold on bro. Many have gone through this path, but what kept us was the force of hope. Decide to tell your own story! |

omobaba101:I am close to 60 years and have seen a few change of government and the newer is always judged worse than the older! I have seen coups, I have seen elections, they have not brought changes as expected because we are not dealing with the real problem. Nigeria gives birth to a new UAE every year! |
I have known this for some years now - NIGERIA IS NOT AS RICH AS THEY MADE US TO BELIEVE. We have the natural resources but we are not controlling our population growth. It is not about one party, President or the other. It is about the corporate mentality. The region growing Nigeria population exponentially is the North. Until we sit down and have a discussion about population, we simply will be getting poorer. The problem with having this discussion is RELIGION. Once you move for this discussion, the North will reach out for religion and it will destabilize the country quickly. NO PERSON can resolve the Nigerian problem, except all Nigerians are ready to embrace the truth. (I don't take ANY politician serious about promises to make Nigeria prosperous because I know they all know that it is a LIE!) All the economic policy of any government will grow GDP, but uncontrolled population growth will undermine it. 2 things really show you true financial strength of a nation - the budget and the GDP PER CAPITAL, as a country, both are not looking good! |

Apart from the fact that he was well known to me, the police story didn't add up: 1. If he was in the hotel to have sexual relationship with the woman, the engagement would be through the night. If the lady had left by 4pm, what will he still be staying in the hotel to do? Don't you think for a better cover up, it's better to have gone home? 2. How small is the hotel that the hotel had the record of the time that the lady came and left? 3. Who is the friend? 4am is too early to look for a person. Even if you report dissappearance at police station, they give some time before declaring the person missing. 4. Did the police check if any withdrawal was made at the bank yesterday. Why is the police in a hurry to make us close every other possibilities? What about if it was assasination? He had contested as a Senator and while the announcement was going on already in his favour, the announcement was stopped and the opposition declared winner in controversial circumstances. He went to court and the case was also decided against him despite overwhelming evidences (I attended one of the tribunal sittings) He then contested the last governorship primary and lost. Could the death actually have political undertone? He was also a CGI. Could it be that he had an information that should not be made public and he was about releasing such? I should think for proper investigation, the lady referred to in the police narration and the friend should be in custody by now. The Joy hotel management should be in custody by now, without the police putting up any defence for these 3. They are prime suspects in this suspected murder case! |

I watched the interview and at least have followed her activities in the office for some time. From the first day I watched her on Television, I expressed my view about her. She may have a good heart but she does not understand her official roles. So, she was running things as a director of an NGO. She could raise money to run things for her Pet projects but not as a Minister. In the interview, she also mentioned that she was resolving issues among couples. She made a reference to even getting to know sometimes that it's only 100k that causes problems between husband and wife and she would just give them. Such is too unofficial to be seen done by a Minister. She may need to learn protocols! She is a good person, no doubt, but official roles have rules of engagement |
You are wrong man. Restitution is not a Biblical doctrine. How do you do restitution for murder? Zaccheus said all he said about restitution out of his excitement for having Jesus in his house, Jesus did not make any statement about it. The Bible also did not specifically called polygamy a sin. When requirements for occupying a leadership position in the church were listed, it was stated that such a man should be a husband of one wife, if there weren't people with more than one wives in the church, that would not have been part of the requirements! Why do people have problem listening or reading properly? NTA said that clip was the 1st day and not today! I live in Kano and what NTA said is true. The curfew is relaxed. From 8am - 2pm, you can move around. We were in church yesterday and I was in my office till 1:35pm before driving home. No significant violent protest in Kano today. So rest Kobojunkieee: |
The Bible says the weapons we fight with are not carnal. If the Prophet is filled with the Holy Spirit, he should have cast out the demons and not point to anybody. What they celebrate in that part of the country as indicated by this report is not Christianity but self made, self styled mediocrity. Everyone involved should be arrested and prosecuted, the so called Prophet inclusive. He is running a cult! |
These guys are suspicious |

I support this move. Those masquerades beat my niece that was on an important enumeration assignment for the development of medical services delivery in Enugu state about 4 years ago. She came back sick, it was that same local government. Such brutality should be cautioned in this age |
United Airlines is the most unreliable Airline I have seen in Nigeria. I have their ticket since December 25th and have not been able to use it till now. Every time I rescheduled the flight they cancelled it. |

Though the rustication is like killing an ant with a sledge hammer, but in reality what he posted was wrong. He was not speaking for the SUG. He should have gone through the SUG that he is a member. No school authority will fold hands and allow an individual student call such meeting. Who knows what the SUG is up to on the matter? Asking if the SUG President is on a platform suggests ulterior motives for such platform. In this matter, it will also be difficult for him to get strong support from the SUG leadership. Public intervention could save him though. Hope he has learnt some lessons about life? |
