For some people doubting this girl's story, may be you have not encountered such a terrible situation outside this country. I have travelled Southern and Eastern Africa reasonably including the country in question - Tanzania. I have been both robbed and attacked in both Southern and Eastern African countries. My first time in Uganda, my first night, I was robbed in my Hotel room at Gulu (Northern Uganda). They made away with my money, camera, international passport (with other countries visas on it) and cards. I went to the police station with my host and the DPO started telling my host that I may be looking for a way of escape. I lost my cool and insulted him badly. It actually could be dangerous in those countries. In another situation, if not God that saved me, I could have been killed for my VAIO when it was VAIO.
