Blame federal government for the crisis in southeast.
Nnamdi KANU claimed he can handle the mayhem in the region if released. Why the delay?
Because the script is to make southeast ungovernable and not investment friendly.
Hardcore Boko Haram irredentists have been released from custody and reintegrated in the armed forces.
Ditto Sunday igboho and other Ethnic fighters. Why is Nnamdi KANU own case different? It's a deliberate attempt to make Alaigbo ungovernable and cause mayhem in the region.
We are watching.

Akinpresident: Go and dare them nah It's true they're being overshadowed and compromised by politics. It still doesn't change the fact that Nigerian military has real serious power up their sleeves. You know very well North is playing politics with Boko haram, it's the Mumu button they're pressing on Nigeria, now they've added banditry and kidnapping and really not much can be done because they literally head everywhere and you can't really do much when there are many people to consult who'd betray any reasonable plan to end terrorism in Nigeria. How's it the military's fault? They only take orders. If the govt giving the orders aren't giving the go ahead to crush criminals, they won't do it. Nigeria is subscribed to a democratic govt. Hmmmmm Ok oooo!😊 |

It appears you don't know Asari Dokubo. We know him and what he could do. He has the capacity to take Nigerian soldiers to the cleaners. He is bold. Daring and knows the terrain. Era of Nigerian military gallantry is gone. What we have today are lily livered soldiers who runs at sounds of knockouts! If not, they could have decimated insurgency ravaging the nation. Corrupt officers is what we have today. Only bold in causing mayhem in southeast. Nigerian soldiers are not rated among African countries with huge arsenal. We are far, far below the lower rung in the rating! |

Akinpresident: Which arsenal? Ogbeni go and warm eba.
Is it because politics is overshadowing Nigerian military? You don't have any idea what military is made up of let alone that of Nigeria. With the exception of Algeria, South Africa and Egypt, no other military in Africa can challenge Nigeria. Taa! They no born that person. Talk less of the ineffectual and inconsequential riffraff marauding as militant leader. Let him try and shoot even a catapult to any military asset and that'd be the last time we'll hear from him. LoL 🤣 You are overrating our military Men who are lily livered. Taa. You are behind Time. You don't know we don't have soldiers again, and the era is gone. What we have today are bunch of corrupt officers competing with our politicians. They're not committed and can't fight a war. What have they done with insurgency ravaging the nation? With benefit of hindsight, Nigerian military can only bark. But they can't fight. And that's why Dokubo can take them to the cleaners. Their only power is causing nuisance in the southeast in the name of maintaining peace. They kill at will because of compromising leaders like Hope Uzodinma. Are you not surprised they do not burn villages in the North where they normally lose their Men in battle as they do in southeast? Because they don't have the Balls! Era of gallant Nigerian Army is gone! |

Don't underestimate the power of Asari Dokubo. He has the arsenal to level Nigeria military.
Therefore, Edward Buba was talking nonsense. Trying to be politically correct.
We know Nigerian Army is no longer what it used to be. We have feeble officers who takes cover at sounds of knockout!
Unlike Dokubo with huge arsenals and daring workforce. They could demystify Nigerian military.
Nigerian military are only good in fighting innocent civilians as they're doing in southeast. But can't confront rag tag army of Boko Haram and other motley crowd of insurgents.
Nigeria military should perform better!😊 |

Politics › Re: Hajj Fare To Hit N10m As NAHCON Announces End To Subsidy by Omodua(m): 10:21am On Oct 09, 2024 |
UltraSolid: Baba, most subsidies retained in Nigeria today are bad and should be scrapped because they only create negative and economically unproductive addiction that renders Nigerians worthless. Same as crack cocaine destroys those addicted to it eventually.
Think about it. If you are feeding and housing your 28 year old graduate son, plus providing him a monthly allowance he can use to host oloshos, what will then inspire him to be productive, hardworking, ambitious, a productive pillar of society and a solutions provider?
That is the problem of Nigeria. We subsidise virtually everything to then lead to the mental laziness and entitlement mentality that has stunted the productivity and solutions-provision potentials of the average Nigerian by as much as 80%.
Look at all Nigerians complaining of hunger, because they think government must feed them, yet many do not understand they can convert the little space around their house to small farms in a period of national emergency. Did we not all have to adjust during the covid lock down period? Why not take same approach now that Nigeria must reform or die because past leadership mistakes has made that our unavoidable reality today?
That is the damage subsidy does. It creates dependency, stunts the capacity of an individual to be driven and productive while ultimately reducing most Nigerians to a cretin-like state where they don't even see obvious solutions in front of their eyes before they start shouting "Tinubu".
Nigeria had no business subsidising Hajj in the first place in so far as most successful and developed nations, that deliberately embraced secularity, chose to dump sponsorship of religious activities at the door of private organisations and individuals. Stop subsidising Hajj and most Nigerian Muslim will soon understand Hajj is not as compulsory as getting close to your God in your heart and private surrounding rather than visiting a place, very expensively, others have made you to believe is sanctified.
Nothing but inferiority complex and brianwashing. God, by his omnipotence and omnipresence, abides everywhere. Not in Mecca or Jerusalem alone. Seek him in the corner of your Ajegunle, Daura or Zaki Biam room and he will be there to listen to you. Hmmmm Well said 💯 my brother. I agree with you. You encapsulated the tragicomedy plaguing Nigeria. Salute!🙏 |

MartinCorridon: I'm a Muslim and it is extremely stupid to subsidise Hajj.
God instructed us to go ONLY if we can afford the trips.
Trillions have been wasted on pilgrimage to Mecca and Jerusalem while our own country has continued to rot. Funny enough Saudi doesn't even need Nigeria. We are just a drop in the ocean. I've been there.
We are the most religious. We pay tithes in churches and go for Hajj.
Same set of "religious" people embezzle, cheat and rape their maids.
Always said it. If I become President, will immediately stop subsidising Hajj and tax the hell out of churches.
You will refuse to pay taxes but you're loyal to paying tithes. Yet Jesus said " Give unto to Caesar what's Caesar's and give unto God what's God".
Funny enough, Arabs and Jews hate Blacks more than excreta yet we Africans have adopted their gods as superior to ours.

Hajj subsidy should be scrapped. Anyone wishing to travel to Mecca or Jerusalem should finance himself or herself. It's not the business of government if anyone wishes to embark on spiritual rejuvenation or renewal of faith.
A lot of money being wasted on going to Hajj.
All Hajji Commissions should be scrapped immediately. No nation thrives under religious spending and pretensions. |

Good 👍 one, President Tinubu!
It's a good policy that will put end to leakages in revenue collection by government.
The president should not end there. There are some parastatals that are leaking in revenue that need to be blocked and made more functional.
A typical example is Federal Government Press that handles printing government gazettes and sensitive materials to the public and revenue accruing therein. The money is unaccounted for and little goes to government purse.
Government as a matter of urgency should privatize the agency and the idle staff sent to different ministries and Departments.
This should be in tandem with Renewed Hope agenda of the government. |
