Was a renewal, family visit but opted for Keep My Passport when i applied cos i needed to travel ... on getting back from my trip after like 4 weeks and couldnt hear from them , i sent a paid mail and got a response that decision made and passport not yet received ... thats was why i flew to lagos tls with the paid email response from UKVI. To God be the Glory .

After 3weeks, You sent paid email,
You got a decision made message,
Send another message that No passport request message yet received from TLS,
Whatever message you receive after that and You did not received refusal email 3 days later

PLS RUSH TO TLS WITH THE RESPONSE FROM UKVI AND YOUR PASSPORT....STOP WAITING IN VAIN.

I printed the "decision made" message i got from UKVI... Went to TLS with my passport,Got to the gate and told them i was there for collection, they asked for collection email and i showed them the response i got from UKVI that decision has been made and they have not yet received my passport. , I was allowed to enter, Met with a lady and I gave her the response from UKVI, she went inside with the mail to check and came out to request for my passport , That was on Monday... LO n BEHOLD, my Passport is back with Visa.

good morning famz... After sending a paid email to UkVi on 21st March... Find attached their response and would like to know if i should go submit my passport at the VFS center with this email.. Cos i am sure TLS is the cause of all these delays. Infact Keep my passport is really not the best. Pls ur advise is seriously needed.

You can use this valid error to turn the case to your favor. You can appeal for the ECO to review your stated balance as against what he stated, that it doesn't correlate. That you seek that your application to be readdress

Thats exactly my point christbp.. I stated 5403 as my savings in the application form and ECo said 3403.... Isnt that a blunder? The ECO first said 1800 for my monthly expenses when i stated 180... The ECo was so careless ... Let me have other opinion so i can be rest assured that i have a better chances. justwise, Gisselle and others pls lets have ur contribution oo

Sorry about this. The monthly expenditure is just too low. It’s self explanatory. It looks like a well coached application. How many people in lagos with a family spend just £180 a month but still afford to travel. Sorry doesn’t add up. Your balance is also different to what you declared on the form. Use Oanda converter next time.
What’s your travel history like? I suggest you build that first and then reapply.

My husband had large deposits and honestly just filled the form out organically. We didn’t discover nairaland until after the application but because he has extensive travel history, I believe it helped his case and he had good finances. I believe they create a profile of you based on your answers just like the Americans but they go a step further to Audit your documents to check for compliance and synergy. All the best, next time

Thank you Amelia for your response... Well my monthly expenditure is not that low we r talking of about £180 which is almost 100k a month... My wife also have a good job and supports the family too... concerning the saving , the ECO made a mistake in my application... I disclosed 5403 but the ECo said 3403... i am not sure the ECo carefully treated my application.

I am really dumbfonded cos i ensure i adhere to all the scopes gathered from here . I am self employed,earn 400k monthly and i ensure no lodgement and i ensure my monthly expenses did not exceed 120k... My closing balance was about £5403 and i stated in the application form form that my monthly expenses is £180 and the trip would cost me £1300. but to my surprise, it looked asif the ECO was drunk or too hard drugs when treatn my application.

Kindly find attached the refusal letter and you advise will be appreciated .Cc. justwise ,gisselle and other intelligent people ...
