Company and Comandclem Nigeria Limited, over the ownership of an invention, and payment of royalties. The legal battle, which lasted for almost a decade, ended in favour of Prof Clement Uwemedimo/ccln at the Federal Court of Appeal on December 8, 2009. The court declared Prof Uwemedimo/ccnl as owners of the Anti-corrosive Special Paint invented by Prof Uwemedimoh in 1980, by virtue of the Patent Right granted them by the Federal Government of Nigeria, on 5th August, 1999. The court subsequently held Mobil and others using the invention actionable with effect from 5th August, 1999, the day the Patent Right was granted by the Federal Government. Series of fruitless negotiations, mediations and agreement were alleged by Comandclem to have taken place on payment of royalties by Mobil. Comandclem recently revealed that Mobil had been dragged to the
Supreme Court for the enforcement of payment of accrued royalties and damages by Mobil. In order to pass latest information to the teeming Comandclem Registered Patentees and rub minds, a Thread, Titled "Comandclem Patentees Assembly", was created on the Nairaland Forum by OMOKEMESI, one of the Registered Patentees, on December 15, 2010. keep increasing by the
day. My major target are
die-hard Jonathan
supporters in my office
and at in my former street
where I used to live, as I

headache is one who

ABOUT NATIONAL AWARD: By now some patentees should have read what I said on the Thread I created on Nairaland Forum, on May 19, 2010, titled, "Should Prof Uwemedimo of Comandclem Be Given National Award?" Patentees are free to visit the Thread to read the contributions of other people, for and against. There are other topics I created on Nairaland about Comandclem, including the one later blocked when sponsored posters like Saibuhari invaded the Thread. So, if anybody is complaining of inactivity, I think I have tried my best at my age. Who can tell me that President Jonathan is not aware of Prof Uwemedimo and his invention? whose invention for Oil
exploration has been
ringing bells worldwide.
The Invention, Anti-

Q.I.T (TRANSTEEL BLUE,

invented in 1980, is
believed to be the first

chemical used in the
production of Crude oil,

SAIBUHARI, YOU CAN NOT BE A MEMBER OF CIVIL LIBERTIES ORGANISATION (CLO). @ Saibuhari, the fact that you attended a rally organised by Nigeria's foremost Human Rights Organisation, did not make you a member of the Civil Liberties Organisation. You also claimed that you appeared on the Organisation's video of a rally. That would not prove that you are a member. Anybody, including thugs, miscreants, infidels and the unemployed, could have uninvitedly joined such rallies. And if you must know, the CLO of Nigeria was formed in 1987, as a non-govermental, non-partisan and voluntary organisation. Members are prominent Nigerians. I am sure you were so much involved in partisan politicis than to be a member of the CLO. You were (are?) the "strongest " supporter of General BUHARI's presidential bid. Could you remember that while intimating supporters of your activities on. . . . You, Saibuhari, declared:

I doubt if anybody in this country could be brave to publish a fake Supreme Court suit number as alleged by Saibuhari But I think by now, Comandclem's lawyer should clarify and throw light to dark areas . He could be interviewed on phone during the Gateway Radio Comandclem's Programme. Alternatively, the lawyer could pass the information through the Management or Yusuf Akure. However, nobody has even confirmed on this Thread that the Supreme Court has commenced hearing of cases. GODSAYES please you are a vital link. God will continue to bless you. Try to get Yusuf and tell him questions you want him to ask from the Management just as he did few days ago. GOD WILL NOT LET US DOWN. MY ARTICLE OF 1970 : Where were Saibuhari, Missuzoma and Arena07 in 1970, when I wrote an article on how to assist the Three Eastern States affected by the Nigerian Civil war? I have always been given my unflinching support to whatever, in my considered opinion, would benefit the generality of the suffering Nigerians, irrespective of religion or creed. The article titled: "LET'S FORM REHABILITATION CLUB ", was published in the Federal Government-owned Newspaper, the defunct "MORNING POST", in August, 1970, over 41 years ago! That was why the Comandclem issue received and still receive the little support I have been able to give so far. Up till date, I have not received even a cup of pure water from anybody at Comandclem. @ Mintyx thank you for your maiden contribution to this Assembly. Those who read your post will know that wort of Comandclem Patentees are educated, intelligent and well cultured people. We are no push overs. Nobody is saying that Comandclem or even the inventor himself should not be crisicised. But such criticism should be constructive and objective. Nobody is infallible. For instance, compare the above posts of arena07 with that of missuzoma. You discover that the post of arena07 is eccentrical while that of missuzoma is okay. There used to be another person called meregini (I am sorry if I spelt your username incorrectly)., whose posts were against Comandclem. But none of us criticised he spoke his mind through his posts without character assassination and blackmail. Missuzoma started his criticism well before he suddenly joined the duo of SAIBUHARI and the empty headed follow follow zombie arena. You made an important observation which I have buready worked on but I reserve the post until I know if saibuhari wants me to deal with him as a journalist. From my investigation, both Saibuhari and missuzoma ought not to have behaved like arena07. They are not on the same level in all aspects. It is very shameful indeed. PLEASE, LET SOMEBODY APPEAL TO MR. YUSUF AKURE about the way he is repeating his space-consuming adverts to block the contributions of other patentees. Yusuf, what you think you are using to prevent viewers from reading other people's posts may be counter productive. While some patentees are still aggrieved about not being informed of Pastor Monday's return to CCNL, you are calling him "OUR HONOURABLE GENERAL MANAGER". We need to be very careful about the way we are handling issues these days. We should not play with patentees as if they are irrelevant. You have to convince them before you start adding "our honourable" as if patentees voted for Pastor Monday to represent them at the House of Representatives. I have said in my previous post that is not wrong to recall him, he necessary in the internst of our case. PLEASE, WE ARE ALL IN SUPPORT OF COMANDCLEM. We all appreciate your efforts as "our USEFUL MAN ". I am too old to perform relentlessly as you are doing.
