Some folks (parents) are very 'funny' and cunning. And I guess some choose when to act as such. Imagine,when their daughter gets pregnant out of wedlock, the parents won't waste time to disown her or send her packing. But once, the baby is born, you'd now see the parents of the girl coming to lay claim to both the girl and her baby after abandoning her to bear the burden alone. What kind of eye service is that? They love the baby but hate the mother of the baby. Just like an incident that happened recently. When a girl was rejected by her family for getting pregnant. They saw it as an embarrassment and a disgrace to the family. The poor girl was later taken care of and assisted by another family to deliver her baby safely. And the same family later adopted the baby, when she decided to give the baby up for adoption. But before you could say Jack Robinson, the parents of the girl suddenly appeared from nowhere to collect the baby from her foster parents. They started making trouble and cooking up lots of lies and excuses just to make sure they succeed in collecting the baby. You can imagine? Some people are something else. Where were they when the poor girl was abandoned and left to suffer the pain and humiliation alone? When you love someone, let it be for better for worse, and no matter the weather. That's what true love is all about. When your child does something wrong, scold her as much as you want, but don't ever reject her. That's just like rubbing salt to a wound....Some guys are also like that. Some usually don't like the mother of their baby, but love the baby so much. Which kind double standard e that?

I know what you mean. Its like eating with the devil and criticizing another devil for the same evils of he devil you eat with.

But the Saudis are very effective at controlling the jihadits and dissidents in Saudi Arabia, they have executed over 75 this year alone (3rd highest executions in the world after china and Iran).
They also use their wealth to keep their potential fanatics busy enjoying life. This is better, I am of the view that no western nation should intervene in lesser nations (especially Arab nations). It only causes more problems.


Point to note is that Islam is not a religion, its a political ideology. Islam literary means submiSsion (to allah) and they believe that one day all "kaffirs" must worship Islamic allah. Mohammed was not just an Islamic "prophet" he was also a king or emperor like figure. He sent troops to War, executed people etc all prerogatives of a ruler.

In short the best way to describe Islam is as "a pseudo-religious fascist totalitarian political ideology". This is why we have over 50 Islamic nations, afgan, Somalia, Syria, yemen, Libya, Iraq can be classified as fail states. Islam and democracy dont mix hence I suspect more Islamic nations will fall. I am watching Pakistan, tunisa, turkey and Sudan keenly.
