The Gen Zs and others calling for military govt are daft and foolish. Those kids born in the 90s and 2000s... They lack wisdom so much.... Democracy allows for change of govt every 4 years but a military man can come and not leave power in 10 years. He ends up oppressing anyone that challenges him...

That will never happen in this country again.
Tinubu will do this first four years and if he still has move grace he will do another term.... Anyone who doesn't want it can go on exile or jump into the lagoon
The last military government lasted 16 years
I believe some people see this as a way of seceding

Tinubu did not win popular vote ,he got 8.8 million out of 23 million votes
Atiku and Obi got 13 million together
This in a country of supposedly 200million.
It is not a strong mandate when you consider how powerful the president is but it is what it is

Even if the mandate is switched to Obi or Atiku it would still be weak based on very low turnout.

All parties must accept the outcome of the court process.

There is no peaceful alternative.

These Gen Z pikins who were born and started knowing their left from right when Obasanjo started wearing “Agbada” to rule Nigeria won’t understand what a military dictatorship is.

A simple analogy for them to understand, can they just imagine rtd General Muhammad Buhari ruling Nigeria with no opposition at all and having the absolute power to ban social media, kill anyone without trial, install sole administrators in each state and be whipped by security men on the road for not obeying rules and order.

People who witnessed Buhari’s military regime can testify to this.

e-Tranzact is not an Igbo man's company.

It used to be when Valentine Obi founded it.

But as soon as you start giving equity to others on the board, your hold on the company loosens.

Valentine Obi has long been driven out of e-Tranzact.
in disgraceful circumstances

My point is that I can have the highest share in a company that I foundes and still not be the chairman of the company.

Being a chairman of a company comes with lots of things including many years of experiences. A chairman is elected by the board of directors of a company to oversee the company and tomorrow he might still be sacked. Being a chairman of a company doesn't mean that you are the owner of the company.
You are blabbing
What did I say that you were "correcting" saying I need to read?

THat is irrelevant

The point is it is a PLC and not an Ibo man's company

A representative of major shareholders is not necessarily the company owner. Other non executive directors could own larger shares than him but he is the one they choose to represent them
Did I say representatives of shareholder is company owner?

Not in all cases does the chairman remains the one with the highest share holder.
You need to read more
You are contradicting yourself trying to sound knowledge able

I said two thing s
Chairman is non executive
Represents major shareholder

What is your point? Be explicit?

Using two monikers won't distract me

The issue is this is a publicly traded company
It is not a private company

Chairman and CEO are peers with other directors not superior. They are elected by the board of directors to run the company. Meanwhile founder remains unchanged
Just be quiet and stop talking rubbish
The chairman represents major shareholder in a governance role. Without executive function.
They are not peers

You are not smart, board of directors of a plc companies changes everytime. It's a common knowledge. It doesn't stop the fact that an igbo started and nurtured the company.

Facebook, Microsoft etc were founded by someone, the body of directors are different from the founders. Try and read more .

Tomorrow, another set of directors will be appointed by the company.
You are smart

My dear, company owners are actually "jobless" all Igbos on their list are non executive directors, their role is oversight, they don't run the company. Yorubas there are employees running the company

The company is as publicly traded , on the stock exchange
It is not Obi's company
