Meetings like this are always tricky to read from the outside. On one hand, it could be a strategic success, especially if Makinde and Kwankwaso are laying the groundwork for alliances, endorsements, or coordinated campaigns ahead of the 2027 elections. Makinde’s influence in Oyo and the South West is significant, while Kwankwaso still carries weight in the North, so a collaboration could be powerful. This is just my opinion and not a definitive statement.

Please outside Oyo state or perhaps, Ibadan, tell me which states in the south west that Makinde has influence. Even as it stand, Oyo and Ogbomoso zones are not really happy with him as a result of what he did recently among the traditional rules in Oyo state. So Makinde only have influence in Ibadan not South West.

When I said Obi supporters are more foolish than him, am so correct. It is not an understatement. As a president, he should be at home doing what exactly when he can go out and attract foreign investors that will generate employment and more revenue to the country. Because the Republicans led the Senate. The lower House impeached him but the Senate countered it. Another advantage he has is that he nominated 3 of the 9 supreme court justices, but 6 of the 9 are Conservatives (has Republican leanings).

What you are saying in essence is that, no matter his offense, those judges will shield him from the conservative. Then you shouldn't be among those who will blame our president if the same happened here in Nigeria.

There is no big deal. Infact it's very good ideal. I have seen a man married someone who is almost the same age as his grand daughter, though not as fight wife. Now all older wives have died. It's this younger wife that is taking care of the man now.
