I use to respect this governor Akeredole, but I am ashame of him that after more than 6years as a governor of Ondo state he has not built a befitting hospital to his people. No wonder he cannot even go to the state to recuperating since he came back from medical treatment abroad. I don't know why Nigeria politician are Soo wicked like this. They will travel to different parts of the world and see how things are being done over there. To replicate such good development or innovation in their states will be a difficult task for them.

Is it not the same Court of Appeal that said nomination of candidates is a pre-election matter and a prerogative of the parties?

The most important issue in an election is: who scored the highest number of votes??

Someone whom the people have voted for and who scored the highest number of votes should not be disdqualified based on some flimsy reason as party membership because it's a given that the party would not have sponsored him if he wasnt their member. To disqualify the person who scored the highest number of votes automatically leads to grave injustice because someone whom the people didnt vote for and who didnt win would then be declared the winner

But the same happened in Bayelsa and Zamfara where the first runner-up whom the 'people don't vote for became governor.

Most of you that are crying over this matter are bereft of knowledge. I don't know when you became lawyers to question their judgement. You will sit down in the corner of your room and condemning a ruling party just because the outcome of election cases favour them. Is that what we call democracy? Where were you when the same ruling party was disqualified to contest River state election in the 2019 election, where were you when all the positions won by the same rulying party in Zamfara state goes to opposition party. Where are you when David of Bayelsa was disqualified when he was about to sworn in as governor of the state and so many cases that the ruling party has lost. We should try and balance our comments and critism in any matter not just to be one-sided all the time. In your own assertion, the ruling party should not have win any cases because they are ruliny party. This is not democracy.

Ameachi relegated himself after the primary election. The same election that Akpabio contested and others. She where Akpabio is today, a Senate president. But Ameachi think that he is too important to go form alliance with Tinubu while others that contested the primarily withdraw at the last minute and backed his candidacy. Ameachi went all the way to context, which I commend him for. But in politics there is a limit you can go when you realized that the other person is stronger than you. You simply back him. I don't know what it will cost Ameachi to negotiate with Tinubu after their primary election, nothing. Remember Tinubu brought Ameachi to APC back then in 2014.

Please what special status do they want to accord FCT that will make it vote to determine the winner of presidential election? Does that means if a candidate win all 36states and fail to get 25% of total votes cast in FCT, that candidate can't be declared winner. I don't get it. If you said FCT is special and president decided increase the salary of federal civil servants in Abuja only by 100% while neglect other sates, what will you think or say? Are the residents of Abuja get 4heads with 4legs and 4hands that warrant their votes to be so special? I still don't get it.

Politically, the January 15 1966 military coup is only seen as an Igbo coup hence demonised as such, but the counter-coup and other subsequent ones led by the Hausa-Fulanis were not seen as such because most succeeded hence seen as heroes.

Fast forward to the 2023 era, an Igbo man contested in a presidential election, won in key states of Lagos and Abuja, but was heavily discriminated against because of his ethnic group. The racial and ethnic profiling that followed this controversial election is unprecedented in history. Yet the Nigerian state behaved as if nothing happened. #EndSARS riots were later visualised as Igbo agenda.

Now to the religious angle, many Christains in Nigeria are being delibrately persecuted and killed because of their faith. Yet the state that supposed to maintain a secular balance tends to be clearly promoting ethno-religious supremacist sentiments and agenda. Some classical cases includes the many well chronicled religious uprising down the core North.

The Chibok school girls kidnap, Lead Sharibu, the RCCG woman killed in Kubwa, the Christian woman killed in Zubwa, and last but not the least - the gruesome killing of Deborah Samuel in FCE Sokoto last year. The sad reality of all these is that, all the killers are often protected and shielded to escape justice by the religious power brokers high up in authority.

Now, the Muslims are suffering same in France. Same thing happened between the Tutsi and other ethnic groups in the inglorious post Idi-Amin era in Uganda leading to needless bloodshed and deaths.

Two wrongs does not make a right. One good turn deserves another. "An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere." This should be a lesson and warning to all. I rest my pen here.

When talking about religious/ethnicity in Nigeria don't exclude any region. All the regions are guilty of this.
In the last election, Only Obi won all the states in the south/east and mostly South/south.

Whereas, Tinubu won majorly in West and other regions except South/East.

Atiku won majorly in the north and one state in West and two others in South/south

Now you can clearly judge which region is more religious and ethnic bias.

Talking about killings, kidnapping and other crimes, it should be condemn by all Nigerians.

I can't remember when Obi, Oby Ekwesili, and other elites in east publicly condemn the killing and other atrocities going on in Eastern states of Nigeria.

Crimes shouldn't be tolerated by all.

If the revolution start today you also will not be spear.

It's only in Nigeria everybody want a better life but want government to keep doing the same thing over and over again. Only in Nigeria we don't want to sacrifice yet we want to live in paradise.

No one want to pay tax, most evade it
They bypass meter.
Drivers will not voluntarily renew their license
Students will not study, yet want to pass
Employee will want extra cash outside his/her salary, then engages in sort of illegality.
Lecturers want bribe or sex to pass students, yet we complain of incompetency in place of work.

The list is endless, complain virtually on everything.

When government make policies direction, we complain.
When they are talking of implementation, we complain. Yet we don't complain about our shortcoming

The driver you mentioned above, may not even have fire extinguisher, driving license and probably not even put on seat belt, yet you see nothing wrong about that.

The point is that for Nigeria to work, both the leaders and the followers need proper orientation and reorientation. May God bless Niheria

This is exactly what am going through in my marriage. Apart from where you said you people make love thrice a week. This means my own case is even worst than yours. Most time I can only play with my wife once in a month without sex. It up to a year now I have not been able to penetrate my wife. It get to a point that she no longer attract me anymore. I don't have feeling for her anymore. The most painful aspect of it was that she was very religious. As am typing now she has gone to vigil. Could you believe that it's only two of us that are home for more than a week now because our children go for holiday in her elder sister's place and I have not even play with her not to talk of sex. Honestly I used to think how to solve the problem but can't just figure out any possible solution.

A problem like this might be spiritual. Some woman have spiritual husband. Men also do have spiritual wife. My wife went to pray from white garment prophetess on different issues that not even related to our marital matters. Lo and behold, the prophetess said she had spiritual husband that prevented her from allowing me have sex with her. This is because when I move closer to her my joystick will just became flat. Whereas if I stay alone in the parlour I will have erection to the point that it will start paining me. I also do have morning erection.

So all what you said about your wife are exactly what am passing through if not even worst. Am the kind of person who wants to be playing with my wife, but she hate it alots. If she is cooking I don't go near her because we must argue that will led to disagreement. I love cooking alot but because of her character I don't near her in the kitchen.

Am just fed up but keep enduring the marriage. So just keep on endure it. Marriage is not a child play. This experience is the worst part of "for better for worst" in a marriage. God will turn it around for good.

My husband lost his job two years ago and ever since he has been so reluctant on getting another.. not to brag but I can say I have been the one keeping the family going ever since the job incidence (not like I ever complained) .

What I noticed about him is he now drinks and smokes and he is always hissing (obviously he is not happy and I try to always console him just to elate his Spirit)

Fast forward to last two months.. I got back from work and I was very tired.. I had to go pick the kids from school , bathe them, feed them and to make matters worst I wasn't feeling too alright .. (when I got home he (my husband) wasn't at home)

When I was done with the kids and fixing the house I was so tired I thought to myself to take a lil nap that was how I slept off (and this was around 9pm) ..

He got back around 10pm obviously drunk and smelling like a skunk.. he went straight to the kitchen. That was how the whole problem started.. first was insult.. then my phone, smashed it on the ground later my clothes he started tearing them .. saying all those things he was destroying was why I was feeling untouchable that he knows I have male friends sleeping with me..

I tried securing my items so he doesn't destroy more things that was how he pounced on me..

The next day I got him arrested he spent two days there.. but now I feel so guilty... He doesn't talk to me anymore.. I have apologized times without number

I don't just know what to do...

Nb: even while he was there I was still taking food to him

Madam I salute you. You haven't done anything wrong. What if the man kill you in the process of hitting you? The man will end up marry another woman. Believe me he will now respect you and won't dear misbehave again. Just continue to be respectful later he will accept your apology.
