Shuaibu it's a pity you have to go this way. In your next political dispensation, never betray your benefactors. Having said that, Obaseki should also know that he can't be trusted by any reasonable politicians in Nigeria. He betrayed his political leader and also betrayed his deputy who sacrificed his loyalty from Oshiomole to ensure he got the second term in office. As for those of you who are now celebrating Shuaibu downfall will never see anything wrong with what Fubara is doing to Wike in River state. You criticize Shuaibu for betrayal but praised Fubara for the same actions against his benefactor.
Hope Obaseki will continue to sing "No to godfather" in Edo state during electioneering campaign. Also I believe he will also repeat "Edo no be Lagos" slogan in the same campaigning period. You that supposed him against Oshiomole in the last election, hope you will not support him now that he wanted to be godfather to the candidate he single handedly imposed on the party.

I pity for Nigeria with the way some of the people respond to an issues. Instead of them to criticize objectively they will rather do it blindly. If not what is wrong with the propose new levy. How can you justify that both the big, not too big and small schools pay the same amount as tax to the government? Some schools charge as high as #1m+ as school fees while other charge as low as #30,000 per term and you expect them to pay the same levy or tax to government. I think the minister is in right path on this. It's simply means pay as you earn. If you earn more pay more to the government, if you earn low pay little to the government.

Please is there no limits a minister, DG, director can sign or approve. I think the president should give directive or executive order to the maximum amount of money any minister or personnel of government can sign for. Because it beat my imagination that we keep on hearing billion upon billion of money withdraw or approve by these individuals into personal or private individuals account.

But please, Riverians should still rise against the implementation of the so called Presidential Peace Proclamation. Let me tell you today that, as far as Tinubu is concerned, the bolded lines in my quote is IMPOSSIBLE as long as the 'peace' proclamation stands.

People shouldn't be succumbing to oppressors just for 'peace' to reign. Such peace is only of the graveyard. It is the kind of peace that will make your children not to have any iota of peace in their lives since they'd live under the oppression you submitted to. That's how Goodluck Jonathan submitted in 2015 so that there'd be no bloodshed, but there have been endless flow of Nigerian blood across 6 geopolitical zones since then.

Tinubu is using the template he used in Lagos to cage the entire country. I read the so called peace proclamation and it has all the indices to cage the Rivers Governor, people, and resources. The Rivers oil money is the target. APC and Tinubu want total control.

My problem with every successive government is lack and unwilling to prove the outgone government and when there is any, no one will be probe. This has made the personnels (Civil Servants and Ministers) to be bold enough to commit fraud in an unimaginable manner. The lack of transparency and accountability in any government at all levels make this ack of fraud to be prevailing and unabated. I doubt if this current government will do anything differently. This was how we heard probe upon probe when Buhari first came in, how many were convicted and jailed? None. Instead of trials, those that were serving jail terms were granted presidential pardoned by the then President Buhari. We can't continue like this as a nation and expect to make progress. People must be made to account for their criminal act perpetuated while in government and face long term jail in detention if find guilty after trial in a competent law court.

If you don't have any tangible things to do in your village, why travel? Unless there is an urgent needs that will warrant your presence, you should stay in your location and enjoy your Christmas. After all, Christ was not born in your village and your village is not appointed place for Jesus' birthday celebration. Also if your can't buy new clothes make do with what you have. It was Jesus' birthday and you must not dress to kill. If you don't afford the kind of food you want, eat what you have, it's only you know what you eat no one else unless you tell them. APC's case say there is a structure but the structure wasn't the making of all in PDP who were supposed to vote. Make una know the content of the case before una dey talk. Ain't you worried that all the states had different panels for various cases but Plateau had one appeal panel doing all appeal hearing.

PDP had a fallout with a member who went to court, the court issued a judgement against PDP to the effect that PDP should hold a new congress. PDP held a new congress and the aggrieved member contested and lost & everyone moved on.

APC had high hopes of winning Plateau but lost after spending hugely. After the loss APC began to brag of how their connect will be used to grab power & now tried to resurrect a dead case that has been settled at the Federal High Court and Appeal Court. Can APC assume the right of a PDP member and institute a case against PDP? Can a case which is considered as preelection start at the tribunal?
Every politician on the Plateau know PDP has a valid exco moreover the supreme Court has settled it that it is the NWC that nominate & sponsor a candidate. Qualification is about the candidate.

You are mischievous who is speaking half truth. In how many local governments area did the party repeated the Congress? Blame PDP not APC.

People will just be casting aspersion on the judiciary and judges. They will never blame the politicians that made and committed grave electoral fruad.
What hinder PDP for instance to obey simple court order before fielding candidates for general election I. Plateau? Meaning they haven't learn from APC mistakes in Zamfara state.

What prevent NNPP to do the right thing before the election. How come it's only it's candidate votes that some of the ballots paper were not sign?

For you that insulted INEC, they planned and do everything for election to be conducted free and fair, but the politicians ambushed them and frusted their efforts.

Insulting judges should stop forwith. If the politicians conduct themselves peacefully and obey the rule of the election, there will be not need for them to seek redress in the law court. Also as a politicians insulting judges, why result to insult when in the first place you trusted them that was why you go to their court. Why can't you accept your defeat and prepare for the next election if you don't have hope of getting justice? You took your case to them as you have lost in the pool and you lost again in the court, the next thing is insult and ridiculed of the judges and justices of the court. I think there should be a heavy fine for any institutions and politicians as well as any individual painting our judiciary in a bad light. Enough is enough.

The kind of comments a 'supposed' future generations/leader are making here beats my imagination. They will just comments with emotion and sentiment. They will never look at the merits of the matter. For them, anytime court favour APC, democracy is in danger and country is sliding to one party. But when it's favour them, it's victory for democracy.
They quickly forgot when APC, the ruling party suffered the same fate both in Zamfara and Bayelsa states in 2019. They will never remember when the party was barred from contest election in Rivers state the same year. They will fail to mention the court cases the lost in the national and states assembly. As enlightened citizen, we should be able to analyze issues critically before draw our conclusion no matter the party involved. This is the only way we can differentiate between the learned and the illiterate.

Here on this platform, immediately after the election in Match, I remember vividly how someone posted here that the governor will be sack by court. I don't know how to referred to that post if not I would have post the link here.
You may not like a political party that doesn't make all the members of the party evil. If l may as, many of you that supported Peter Obi, does that make the party a saint? Infact majority of those in LP today are either a PDP, APGA and APC members. Even the flag bearer Obi himself was until May last year a PDP member. So let's be guided so as to make right comments free from bias.
