Honestly,i don't know why everyone one is complaining,in the first place, nigeria shouldn't have a parallel market, nigeria should have a control of its own economy. Now,cbn is still selling dollar for 199 while parallel markets sell for above 400,what does that imply? The govt is spoiling their market, soon the parallel market dollar rate will be a thousand.. Then i guess they would have no choice but to packup and leave.... Even US doesnt have a parallel market.

Abi o. Well said.

The ignorance is nauseating.

Hopefully most of the people that post here don't have more than secondary school certificates.

I really think so too. Either that or they are feigning ignorance and illiteracy.

ipledge10:
You guys are ignorant of what is going on in the world. ..since oil started going down...Saudi Arabia that produce more than what Nigeria produce and with lesser population have sold more than $126billion of her properties...is it Jonathan that drain the country foreign reserve when oil was $110/barrel will be the one to save the country when oil is less than $30/barrel?...you can wail till jesus come

Thank you! They have also increased petrol price by over 40%, stopped sponsoring so many of their students abroad, have drastically reduced hiring expats and so many other measures, so why are we complaining as if this problem is this administration's fault?

Drabeey:

Hunnydropps:
Im so happy to see so many parents/future parents in agreement about keeping our little ones home and training them ourselves longer than many people do today.

@omostar, I'm loving the fact that you're adding sight words to your routine. It sounds like you've been doing a terrific job...keep it up. Have you incorporated writing of letters and numbers yet? Do you have any pointers to share that may help other parents doing this or that may be considering it?

And omostar...you're very right about some not having the opportunity to stay home due to work. I applaude them too for providing a place to learn while they're working. For these parents, supplementing the school curriculum with additional info works too. Fit it in wherever you can...possibly after school or on weekends when things arent as busy at home.

I just let her scribble whatever she wants mainly for now, although I try to make her write 1s and zeros if she is interested. And she will be the one to say :I want to write " most of the time. Basically, I simply just let move at her own pace. I have discovered that they will pick things up faster when you are not too pushful with them. I do play some educational videos for her to watch when I am very busy, but we practice with everything in the house.

The one at the extreme left.

My daughter is three years and yet to start school but she knows all her letters(uppercase and lowercase) with their phonetic sounds, numbers, colours and several other things. I am about introducing some sight words to her now. Just like hunnydrops, I don't have a set schedule for teaching her. I teach her on the go. I think it is actually best to teach your kids at home till they themselves are hungry for school. I however understand some mothers don't have that opportunity even if they love to because of work.

The man in all black looks GEJ

U might be correct, but when it comes to intelligence units of security operatives, DSS,and soldiers, they did a very shabby job bro.

Tap on the girls phones without their knowledge, then locate the locations of the abductors, and den close in on them, they can still relocate d girls so as to avoid being attacked. U don't need to make the girls know what you want from them, tap through their phones, they wouldn't know when they will link u up with them. Seriously,if naija never get such equipment to trace and track phone calls, den, my village vigilante group will defeat them any day anytime

I totally agree with this. Our intelligence gathering skill is almost non existent.

This is serious

Very nice gift

Is he a real Judge or a Sharia Judge?

And what difference does it make?

Nice. Hopefully some sanity will be returned to our judiciary system.

400 to 1 is simply 1 step forward, 10 steps backwards.

52% of raw materials used by manufacturers are imported. So it will shoot up their cost snd many of these inputs have no local substitutes.

Also world class machinery which will make the manufacturers very competitive has to be imported.

Imports any way has never been the country' s problem. The primary problem iss that Nigeria does not export

I guess the FG had earlier stated they would be providing forex for those raw materials.

She tried but that school is bias in giving admission to none muslims. Even a professor's child was denied admission in unilorin because he is a christian. It was when the father threatened to sue them before they considered his child.

Really?? Very strange because I used to know the faculty of medicine being dominated by christian faculties.

okay

And he did try with making Ibadan cleaner.

Very sad. May she rest in peace.

I think this sakilda shout be interrogated sef.
