I had a robust discussion with a few Aboki friends the other day on the upcoming elections and was surprised that all three of these my aboki friends who are well educated and highly placed in society dismissed Atiku .and said they were routing for Tinubu.

Now these Aboki guys are heavily rooted in the current APC vulture govt which has made them extremely rich since APC came to power, so I naturally thought their decision to support Tinubu was based on partisan political affiliation but on probing them further, they stated unequivocally that Tinubu remains the best option for their likes as it is a sure northern presidency .

I asked how a Southerner like Tinubu represents a Northern presidency to which they responded that, Tinubu knows that he can only get to Aso Rock with northern support and so he will do everything to protect and promote northern interests. When I reminded them that election promises are easily voided when an aspirant gets into power, they simply replied that Tinubu can easily be removed by them before his tenure expires through the national assembly .

But what struck me most was when one of them quipped that Tinubu's health challenges are to their benefit that he can be removed on health grounds or that his chamces of completing his first term are very slim and that the more preferred Shettima will take over. It is then I knew that a Tinubu northern support is actually a trojan horse for the Boko Shettima. So voting a Tinubu into power is as good as voting Boko Shettima.

To these Aboki guys Shettima is better than Atiku . According to them Atiku has a more national approach unlike Shettima who is more focused on northern interests ONLY.

Obi was dismissed by all of us as being an Igbo compensatory candidate for a dashed Biafra agitation.

So, as I take see am, northerners (Muslims especially) will be voting Tinubu for a future Shettima .

So you BAT supporters should know that a vote for Tinubu is an automatic vote for Boko Shettima.
