My brother...Nigeria runs a party system based politics... There are good candidates in other parties but most ppl in Nigeria vote based on party. To ma best of understanding, Jonathan carried many regions along, especially northern region not minding the hatred and attacks that came from the north during his campaign.

When Jonathan was to campaign.. Many politics unfolded... Some people didn't hate him that much during his first campaign becus they felt he was under agreement not to run for second term.. When it became obvious that he was going to run for it...the hatred started..
