SycophanticGoat:Batteries just don't die , they are been murdered. Maintenance culture of batteries by some clients contributes to the reason why batteries don't last long . Charge your batteries fully immediately after discharged. Avoid using external battery charger with very high current just to achieve quicker charging time, if you are to use external chargers , go for smart chargers. Design your solar system to operate at 30 to 50% DOD. When buying batteries try as much as possible to buy freshly manufactured batteries, the fresher the better. If you buy cheap batteries made from low quality lead also expect a lower design life . 5 Likes 1 Share |
