A gate man has been caught red handed defiling an 8 years old pastors daughter in Delta state.

The incident occurred around ULO by Ibusa road, at Asaba, Delta State inside a building under construction on 22-08-2020 .

One of the onlookers, was said to have jumped the fence to gain access silently avoiding use of the main gate to enable him know what this 8 years girl and aboki (hausa) are always doing inside this uncompleted building, lo and behold he caught them as seen in these photos.

A serving soldier of the Nigerian Army Victor Oipkor Ojeamirn has reportedly committed suicide at his duty post in Buni Gari, Yobe State, where he was fighting terrorism, leaving a note behind for his wife.

Victor, who was said to be a Lance Corporal in the Nigerian Army, was said to have shot himself on the head with his riffle and bled to death.

Reports have it that Victor Oipkor Ojeamirn’s body has since been evacuated by his colleagues while the Nigerian Army has commenced an investigation into circumstances leading to the incident.

Like many writers around the globe, I have used the Coronavirus pandemic period to indulge my passion which is writing. And I have been able to produce a reasonable amount of work. Apart from teaching, one thing I can say I have done consistently in the past thirty years is writing creatively. I see it as a calling and I believe it will stay with me for life, by God’s grace I have written a few poems and short stories since the lockdown in March 2020. Mind you, it has not been easy considering that there are many things agitating people’s minds in our country, and I’m not immune to these troubles. However, I try to write whenever I can.
