Politics › Re: Is Kwankwaso More Popular Than Shettima In The North? by Onewazobia(m): 3:37pm On Jul 01, 2025 |
Penguin2: Kwankwaso is more popular than Shettima by far!
And Kwankwaso’s state alone can almost cancel out what opposition candidate can muster in the entire Northeast (Shettima’s zone).
But the big question is, will Kano voters vote for a Tinubu/Kwankwaso ticket just because Kwankwaso defected to APC? Are Kano voters that daft? I guess not.
It’s like expecting Ndi Anambra or Southeast to vote for Tinubu because Peter Obi defected to APC. Because as popular as Peter Obi is, one wrong step will kill all of his popularity in the entire Southeast in 24hrs.
But maybe it’s not like that in Kano. Maybe Kano people are easily led by their noses and told where to thumbprint.
But all this simply betrays one thing - that Tinubu is scared to his pampers. While his supporters litter here saying things to excite themselves, Tinubu knows that the reality on ground says something different.
In 2027, those defecting to APC won’t attract much votes to Tinubu; especially in the Southsouth. You would be daft to think Tinubu will win Delta because the governor defected. So you think it's Tinubu that's the problem of Nigeria? Hmmm, we are not really ready for true change. Peter Obi is not in anyway different from the ruling class except you are gazing through tribal or religion lens, one of our undoing in this direction less nation |

ivandragon: 'Sounds' good, but the devil is always in the details and the reality on ground...
So, let's do the comparative analysis shall we...
1. Base (period, value etc)
A. Comparative period 2014 and 2025 (2014 is used or 2 reasons. 1. That was when apc came to power. 2. The people in power today protested against the socioeconomic conditions of 2014)
B. Monetary value (using fx rates) N250,000 today is equivalent to N34,000 in 2014.
So, a brief random comparative analysis would reveal the following...
In 2014, N34,000 would get you about 380 litres of pms. In 2025, N250,000 gets you about 266 litres of pms.
In 2014, N34,000 got you about 4+ bags of rice. In 2025, N250,000 gets you 3+ bags of rice.
In 2014, N34,000 got 10 bags of NPK fertilizer. In 2025, N250,000 gets 5 bags of NPK fertilizer.
In 2014, N34,000 got 55 small baskets of tomatoes. In 2025, N250,000 gets 42 small baskets of tomatoes.
So, are Nigerians better off socioeconomically under bat?
Your guess is as good as whatever you have surmised... Hmmmm Not enough original content Please take a moment to write a quality post with at least 40 characters. Racoon: Of course, these are the kinds of statistics that Buhari and Tinubu led-APC government won inglorious trophies for Nigeria. Not when you destroyed SMEs, formulating unfeasible economic policies, entrenching institutional and executive corruption in a govt bent on administrative wastage of national resources against the masses.
Emilokan said his policies are working, impacting lives and yielding impactful results. There you have reality deadbeat mummified zombies. Chronic taxing of suffering citizens to the feather the nest of some corrupt few will surely have counter ripple effects.
This still reaffirm that the economic and social intervention(Betta Edu corruption ) of the useless and impactless govt have no bearing on the socio-economic life of the people Certainly this is not from an intelligent 🧠, although APC is the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria but the ills in the land date back to decades of misrule and Nigerians bad attitude to integrity |
Politics › Re: ELECTRICITY: Nigeria Records Largest Number Without Access — World Bank by Onewazobia(m): 9:46am On Jun 26, 2025 |
Image123: Nigeria would continue to have the numbers as long as we don't control population or educate the majority about family planning. Qatar has 2.6 million people, UAE 11 million people, Nigeria has 230 million people. The simple math is that Lagos alone as small has it is, has to cater for more people than Qatar and UAE combined. These are people with attitude, entitlement and false smartness. You can be sure that the struggle will likely continue due to a faulty foundation. This is regardless of party or tribe. Religion also plays a part, because the Islamic form of evangelism and dominion in our part of the world is aggressive birth, this is aside jihad. So a society that has 30 christians and 20 muslims today will have about 100 muslims and 40 christians in about 15 years. Why? Our northern muslims need the numbers, others don't really care to have the numbers. The general remaining part of the muslims will have more wives and children legitimate and illegitimate, while the christains either divorce, do baby mama, marry late, etc. We're headed to something bad evidently except God takes the wheel. Thank you for your sincerity and open analysis. Our problems are enormous and honestly we've not start addressing them |
