turmacs: Nigeria is the last remaining major Western strong hold in West Africa. If Nigeria manages to fall into the hands of an Anti- western government, just like Niger, Chad and the others have fallen, mark my words, that would be the end of Neocolonialism and Western imperialism in West Africa. And that is also when people will begin to understand that all these useless terrorist groups are backed by the west because they'll be dealt with very, very, quickly. You mean west backed Islamic jihadist? |

greatiyk4u: As far as the national grid madness is not unbundled, nothing much will change.
How can you generate electricity in Nigeria state and transmit it all the way to Enugu or Oshogbo?.....this is the major causes of grid collapse and a lot of energy losses experienced during the transmission and distribution is transferred to unmetered costumers on estimation
So many anomalies in Nigeria and unfortunately, the many of the people saddled with the responsibility don't even know the main problem Hopefully, a progressive restructuring will lead out |

But my guy, I can boldly say that No nation in Africa can stand Naija o. I don waka small for dis Africa o. You see, until you leave Nigeria for all these African Nations that are making mouth against Nigeria. That's when you will appreciate your country.
Our Major problem are the Mentally sick policians dey do us. You are on point but south Africa and some north Africa are far ahead in terms of human development index. Population and mineral resources are what we can pride in otherwise nothing. Secondly our problem lies in our attitude to money, tribe and religion, our leaders are true reflection of the kind of people the majority of us are |

Eriokanmi: Nigeria is a big name, to which success is attached. Our problem is leadership cum bigotry. Once we can commonly fight and overcome this, we'll reclaim our giants position in Africa and be envied by other countries. I remember Chidinma adetshina too. There was a time India was envying Nigeria. To get Nigerian visa by India in the 70s- early 90s was very difficult. India once recorded the highest Nigeria's visa refusal rate among other nations of the world. They'd come and bring their entire family. They schooled in our public secondary schools and universities.
Our IGR was fat and people were gainfully employed. Parents would do contributions to send their children to school cos education was lucrative. Sadly, the present generation who are defending the likes of Tinubu who damaged everything met nothing on ground. We still benefited partially from our sound education sector back then.
Today, no India wants to come. We're even the ones begging them to come and invest. They've taken their business elsewhere on same african continent to invest and India is fast becoming a developed nation despite their teeming population.
Their fruit market in ilupeju, Lagos is now a ghost town. Bad leaders have ruined our nation yet, some people are praising them out of bigotry. Buhari did his own and the north stood by him. It's now Tinubu's turn, instead of us to criticise his anti people policies, we're supporting him despite suffering and smiling. Are we also as unintelligent and illiterate as the north? I think they say we're more intelligent and can criticise bad governance. Why are we keeping quiet? You spoiled everything you wrote via bigotry and tribalism. Evil that led us to this mess we found ourselves did not start 2015 nor 2000. The rottiness was gradual and unfortunately progressive. We need to change our attitude towards money, Tinibu won in Imo state, please who manipulated the system? Yet he lost in UI in Ibadan. Our problem lies in tribalism, bigotry, greed, favouritism etc. all these menace are same across tribes and tongue in 9ja |
