[quote author=ThunderfireNLMO post=133180351]Prof. Sagay, don't warn him. Let him go ahead with his devilish plans. Clueless and tribalistic Nigerians are loving it. By the way, I don't trust him or the APC Tax Reform Bill. Nothing good can come out from APC (Mark my words for this). APC is a party of fraud. It's also ironic that he's seeking partnership from France, a country many African nations have cut ties with. I fear the Tax bill's implementation will harm Nigerians. When the rich are taxed, they'll just increase prices, indirectly affecting the poor who aren't taxed. It's a vicious cycle.
APC dey whine una[/quote No political party in the country is to be trusted, they are all evil and never mean well for the masses couple with the fact that we have cultural deficiency when it comes to integrity |

floss: Every Nigerian is a born criminal regardless of tribe, position, religion and sex. The citizens aren’t different from their leaders. That’s why there’s no good leader coming from the citizens. The difference between you and the current criminals in government is lack of opportunity.
The ones in government knows that, they know that give another Nigerian the opportunity of occupying their current political position, the newbie will steal more than them, so that’s why no Nigeria feels pity while slaughtering the national cow of Nigeria’s economy.
Don’t think you’re an exception, until you test yourself with absolute power and money. Even the pope is not an exception.
So Nigeria concern when electing a leader should be, looking for the lesser thief and put in government, and not a saint. Because there’s none. Every Nigerian is a born criminal,
Ask yourself, why haven’t Nigerians clamour for a law that
If you’re found guilty of stealing public funds, you’ll be executed on national Tv, whether you’re a former head of state, governor, senator or minister or even pastor , as long you occupy public office.
No Nigeria want that type of law because we all have intention of stealing once our turn reach.
I’m talking about Nigeria, because of those that will attack their father, make ogun no kee you True, we are true reflection of the kind of leaders we have |

This man,Bashir Jamoh, has been enmeshed in corruption in the Agency. Why is he still retained?
Previous reports before this revealed his level of corruption and stealing. He Is supposed to be cooling off in Kirikiri.
This mindset of stealing in public institutions is the reason they (northerners) are against tax bills reforms and True fiscal federalism.
But they can't escape it. The Time has come! I hope it will scale through, |

We allow a lot of impunity to go unattended in this country and that's why politicians and their appointees keep fûcking us over because the highest we'll do is cry on social media while they use less than a million naira out of stolen billions to higher influencers who'll clean up their image The suspected DG is no more e on seat, we have a new DG now |

Kobojunkie: Refusal of admittance of superior being of greater design? I don't think you understand what you are talking about at all. In the one religion of Christianity alone, the many individual denominations combined boast of existence of at least 40,000 different gods -- there are at least 40,000 denominations in Christianity. Islam boasts of at least 3 different versions of Allah that I know of -- the Allah of Saudi Arabia is different from the one of Afghanistan and the one of Nigeria. Outside of these 2 major religions, there are at least 4000 documented ideas of deities.
So, when I said I am anti-religion, my statement was, not that I did not believe in the existence of God but rather that I do not subscribe to the mental delusions born of religion which drives billions of humans such as yourself. You seems confused or deliberately delusional, you sound grieved. Either you introduce your god/faith or take a walk |

I don't have it even remotely as bad as those of you whose lives are ruled over by the lies of your religious masters whom you call your pastors/prophets/popes/imams/priests/Alfas, etc. 😩 I clearly understand you, I was probably more advanced in refusal of the admittance of superior being or greater designer. If you don't mind, fixed a time we can dialogue on this matter otherwise I wish you the best in your endeavours |

Macphenson: One of the most controversial issues in this Tax Reform Bill is that 60% of VAT will be given to the state it was collected from, It seems by this it will only favour mostly Lagos and Rivers State to the detriment of the Northern states who are collecting more VAT based on population.
Here is my concern, Lagos state was deliberately made the commercial headquaters of the Nation to the detriment of other states the more reason it collects more taxes.
Practically, All the cars entering the country pays their tax to only Lagos state. Even the cars to be used in Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Delta and Cross River states. Now this is not fair to these states as they have their own seaports but cars are not entering them, the taxes they are supposed to get as a state goes to Lagos state.
Also, Telecom companies pay their VAT in Lagos because their headquaters are located in Lagos, If this new bill is passed, that is no longer fair to all other states where the Telcom companies operate. Telcom companies should now start paying VAT to each state they operate as you can no longer rob Peter to pay Paul.
Oil companies have their headquaters located in Lagos while they operate in different states especially in the Niger Delta. This will no longer be fair if the bill is passed becaused those states where the oil companies operate will start demanding that the oil companies pay thier VAT in those states they operate.
The truth is this bill if passed, is seriously going to open litany of issues which I dont think at the moment the bill captured or resolved it.
Another dangerous dimension, this may prompt the oil producing states to start demanding for 60% of the oil revenues from their respective states, once this happens, chaos will reign supreme in the country. Let it reign |

Philosopher001: As it should be. That’s what Christianity is really about That is not how it should be, let every local church controls their income while wealthier congratulations sends help/relive to poor/poorer congratulations. That was the doctrine/practice passed down by the apostles. This is more like palliative similar to the way the Nigerian government treats her people, we've built a system that is in variants to God's standard, it will be really hard to crush these systems |

The only people that gave God so much headache and made God angry multiple times in the Bible but they are very much loving, faithful and full of praises to both God and humanity. So easy to work with. No wonder God chooses them above all other nations of the world regardless of their stubbornness.
Israel can and would never leave Lebanon anytime soon in the future. Even after the 90 days period is over. Israel are not ready to allow any Iran proxies ever to exist in Lebanon, Syria, or West Bank. Israel is ahead of the rest by 50years. Every action is well thought of and planned like 50years ago.
They knew a time will come Hamas will invade Israel and they planned for it 50years ago. They knew a time will come when Iran will confront them directly and they had planned for it 50years ago. That’s why Israel can never ever be defeated bc they are 50years ahead in warfare.
Israel had also planned for Europe and US betrayal 50years ago. They knew a time will come US and the whole Europe including China and Russia will be against them. They are yet to unleash that plan bc it hasn’t come to that yet but they are already 50years ahead ready for it. When Bibi said that the world has only seen a little portion of Israel might, he wasn’t joking. I fear that man "Bibi" |
