Will this affect the applications of people that have already applied for visa since October?

I did biom : oct 28 and up till now nothing yet,
December 5 is my hotel reservations and they said I can cancel for free by December 2 and I will be charged if I didn’t cancel after that date(2”dec 2). please can I cancel the hotel reservations? Will it affect my visa decisions?

It already close to a month now and It’s surprising that it was just forwarded on Thursday, that means the application has been at the visa application centre?

When they said “the processed application “ I was thinking they have already process my visa application�
