LABOUR PARTY OF NIGERIA ONDO STATE CHAPTER

PRESS RELEASE_

The attention of the Labour Party of Nigeria especially the Ondo State Chapter has been drawn to a purported meeting/defection held at Adegbemile hall, Akure, today Monday 13th February 2023 at noon.

The meeting attended by about a few dozen people alledged that the entire Southwest Labour Party has been merged with the All Progressive Congress (APC) with effect from today. As expected, the meeting was chaired by an expelled Labour Party member, Mr. Banji Omotoso, who was the then caretaker state chairman in Ekiti state from 2017 to 2019.

The Ondo State Labour Party under the leadership of our able chairman Chief (Mrs.) Remilekun Ojo make bold to state as follows;
1. That the labour party of Nigeria in the Southwest and entire Nigeria remains one and an indivisible party.

2.That the entire Labour Party of Nigeria has never at anytime and will under no circumstances ever think of merging with any other Party, not even the All Progressives Congress (APC) that has brought untold hardship and surffering to the entire nation.

3. That the so-called Southwest coodinator Mr. Banji Omotoso was an expelled member of the party, who since January 2020 has ceased to have anything whatsoever to do with our great Party.

4. That the said Mr. Banji Omotoso was expelled for gross malfeasance and anti-party activities. Therefore he has no authority from any quarters to speak for or on behalf of the Labour Party in Ondo State.

5. That we strongly make it clear to the general public and well-meaning long-suffering citizens of Nigeria to disregard any information from the said Mr. Banji Omotoso who has since ceased to be our member (LABOUR PARTY).

Simon Ekpa did not state any form of violence in his order. He only directed a sit at home, a form of peaceful protest for the demand for the release of the Supreme Leader of Biafra.

Simon Ekpa is a peace loving man and I wonder why Obidients are against him. Many of these Obidients are selfish and have decided to betray Nnamdi KANU who is in prison fighting for them

When has peaceful protest become a crime. These are the same people that tried to burn down Lagos during the EndSars protest.
A true Igbo with Biafra blood will Obey Ekpa. But if you are a betrayal, you can go out that day and vote, nobody is stopping you. Stop linking the killings in the South East to Simon Ekpa who doesn't reside in Nigeria. Simon Ekpa is peace personified

The “can’t win technique” is a campaign strategy used during the primary season. Typically, it means telling delegates and voters that your rival can’t possibly win the general election. The idea is to present one candidate as more electable, while diminishing the other, more exciting candidate

How do you handle this psychological warfare? You stop engaging and defending the chances of your candidate instead you counter attack, if they give 5 reasons why your candidate can't win, give them 20 reasons why their own candidate won't win.

Stop arguing and debating how your candidate can win, stop trying to reason on why they should vote your candidate, you may be debating with BOTs, they are just as afraid as you are, you have the numbers and the influence, stop letting them dictate your narrative.

If they ever apply the can't win technique it is out of fear, it also means they know the propaganda or dig up dirt technique will fail.

Avoid debating the chances of your candidate instead debate the chances of their own candidate.
