I did my medicals that same 29th of June and till now, I've heard nothing...no regret mail, nothing. This is a month+ now. I'm for the Asset Custodian role and not a contract staff with them.

you should get your documentation mail this week or next week. just make sure you have your original bsc certificate cos notification/statement of result isn't acceptable.

I heard existing NFTE will get their letters 8 weeks after medicals. provided you didn't get any regret mail a week after the medicals.

Early February. I met Adebimpe on facebook as a mutual friend to one of my friends. One thing led to another, we started chatting on BBM and early march, we started E-dating.

3weeks ago, we discussed on how we will see facially and she suggested to travel down to meet me in lagos if only I can send T.fare.

Adebimpe is a student of uniport so she fully based in PHC. I was so happy that I started day dreaming how the visitation will look like, the romance, fun, love-making etc. .

On the 14th of april, I sent 10k into her account as Tfare. She called me to tell me she got the money. And the travelling preparation began.

The D-day came. I have cleaned up my room, bought foodstuffs, bought a new pack of CD., when she dropped at Akure garage, I told her to pick a bus to my house address which she did, she got to my house at around 5pm.

I ushered her in, gave her soft drinks and we were chating.

Wen it was 6pm, she shocked me by telling me she has a cousin here in Akure and that’s where she will be staying throughout her 3days of stay and that I should visit her at her cousin’s place the following day.

I was so sad but I didn’t show it, I faked a smile and walk her off to take bike.

I come dey reason am say “se na like dis my 10k go waste?”.

The next day, I didn’t go to visit her and I lied that I was sick with the mindset that she will come to my place instead. But na lie,all she could do was to call me and ask after my health.

That nite, I couldn’t sleep. I was just wondering how silly I am. i just put my fone in silence and forcefully slept off.

As I woke up around 6am in the morning, I picked my fone and I saw a text from Adebimpe.

Which says “baby u knw I will be leaving today, wat time should I come to visit u so as to get my return Tfare”.

Chaiii, na so my head spark…..then…..

really?. I thought medicals come first b4 training. maybe I didn't understand the system.

While PBB is dishing out medical invites and offers, everything with CIB appears to be in doldrums.

You once said you submitted applications for a number of people for the WHO State/Field Officer role. Has anyone of them been invited for medical or got an offer?

congrats to people who have gotten offer letters. I have two concubines in my branch who were interviewed for enquiry officer role and they have done their medicals on July 2nd. I pray they get their own letters soon.

well, I heard a rumour that the bank wanted to conclude arrangements for people who haven't reached medical stage to get to that stage so that all the successful "medically examined candidates will be trained at the training school and inducted at once. maybe that's the reason for the delay.

You will be told that you will earn 120k in a month, someone will tell you he left dangote to join the company and has built a house and bought 2 cars in just 5 months of working with the company. At the end, you will be told to pay a licence fee of 11k before you can resume with them.

I don't know the right section to post this. maybe the mods can help in moving to the right section.

I was going to an event last weekend and I alighted from the bus at obasanjo bustop of sango otta. this bus stop/junction has a general hospital at the right hand side and a police station at the left hand side. its a popular place that people around otta/idiroko road should know.
when I got to this junction, I was surprised to see an evangelist/ preacher standing at this junction with a megaphone in his hand preaching the gospel. I don't really have any problem with him preaching the gospel, but I was shocked that his gospel was more of confessions, he was saying how he used to be a notorious criminal, how he robbed people at gun point, how he raped a lot of young ladies and how he used to be a cultist before he got born again and turned a new leaf. I was surprised that there was a police patrol at the junction controlling vehicles and also a police station right beside this preacher. I left the spot, went for the wedding and returned 3 hours later and I was shocked to see this same man preaching without been arrested to interrogate his past actions been confessed by him publicly. so I wanted to ask this questions
1. is there immunity for any pastor who was once a criminal?.

2. is there a law saying past criminal turn pastors shouldn't be investigated or arranged for trial?
