Lol... I don't want to sound like I'm defending the couple, but I also believe that the lady was the one that agreed for her family to be sent the money. My point is that everything was consensual and mutual to some extent. But normally, we all know that it's in human nature to want more for themselves regardless of the former agreement. So, we can say she later realised that she could have more than just basic needs... And if the couple had known that she would breach the agreement and go to the UK police, I believe they would have revoked their name from her visa, and she would have had to go back to Nigeria. They probably thought they could just bring her from one village in Nigeria and take her in as a house help, just like it's done in Nigeria...
I just feel for the little kids that would be staying without their parents for two years Shaa.
This just goes to show that one needs to be careful even when helping others, because even the person you think you're helping could turn against you anytime they feel they're not getting enough...

You think she was exploited due to ignorance? She is 33 years old, bro. She agreed to work for them because she doesn't want to go back to Nigeria with her former Nigerian employers. Her visa was probably tied to her employers. She knew exactly what she was doing. However, I'm not saying that what the couple did was right. That's why I said "it's all shades grey"...

Considering that it was categorically stated that there was no form of abuse, and she willingly stayed back in North Ireland to work for them while they took care of her (clothing, food and housing) and sent some money to her family in Nigeria. I'm not saying that it was fair enough. It's just all shades of grey.

No one would care to know what the said lady agreed to before she was flown out from Nigeria to North Ireland... All shades of grey...

There is no proof to that, comrade. He was proven guilty and arrested on the basis of drug trafficking. Everything else remains a mere allegation. Even though I agree that this may not be his first time extorting/screwing criminals illegally...

Let's just say they both deserve what they got. But maybe if not for Kyari, Evans would have still been out there kidnapping and killing does who fail to meet up with ransome. Look at it as a case of lesser evil.

Now come to reality..dentistry in Nigeria is a course whose main employer is d govt...

if you studied economy, unemployment and wages..you would realize that most gainful and abundant employment is in the private sector...now private sector dont delve into the practise again cuz their is almost zero demand for its services....

Dnt just argue for the sake of it...see my moniker

That's even why their services are subsidised in the health sector.
As a matter of fact dentistry is just evolving in Nigeria over the years.....
If you want to write, write what you know bro. Because dentistry is broader than you think, it's a very broad specialty.
that's why i said "the name dentistry itself is a misnomer".
Do your research and get to know more about it, i also once had this same mindset about dentistry.
