This man Buhari is a product of the illiteracy in the North. What has he done over the years to have the followership he enjoys? Nothing, absolutely nothing. We here and still see what the likes of Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello did in their time, tangible strides in a short time. What will Buhari be remembered for if he drops today after stints as a military and civilian head of state? Again, nothing. Yet he enjoys a cult like followership in the largely uneducated north to d extent that the elites who know the truth are afraid to speak out.

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Prince Uche Secondus has advised the new Inspector General of Police, Adamu Abuabakar Mohammad to thread the route of credibility in his new job by clearing the mess heaped on the force by his predecessor, Ibrahim Idris.

Prince Secondus advisory came as he addressed mammoth party supporters at the freedom square, Oshogbo, Osun state on Tuesday when the Presidential campaign train of the party continued their South West campaign.

The National Chairman told the new IG that he need to carve his path and avoid everything of Idris because he served the APC and the cabals not the Nigeria Police or the Nigerian people.

According to statement from his media office signed by Ike Abonyi, Prince Secondus said the new IG has a herculean task because enough damage was done to the force by his predecessor.

He told the jubilant crowd to stand by the PDP the way they did in September 8,2018 gubernatorial election assuring them that their stolen mandate must be returned to them because we have God of Justice on the throne

The National chairmen warned the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and security agencies never to attempt a repeat of the rigging mess they perpetuated on the people of Osun state last year as the people are ready to deal decisively with election manipulators this time.

Prince Secondus charged the people to troop out on February 16, 2019 to vote for an energetic President who will tackle their problems unlike the seating President who sleeps all through and sources the Presidency to cabals while the nation's challenges multiplied.

The Presidential candidate Atiku who also addressed the huge crowd told them that they should not vote for APC because they were unable to keep any of the promises they made in 2015 to the people.

The wife of the candidate, Titi Abubakar who is from the state danced and sang to the cheering crowd assuring them in the song that "when Atiku don de rule, Nigeria go better"'(when Atiku gets to power Nigeria will be better)

The former Governors of Ekiti, Ogun and Osun states, Ayo Fayose, Gbenga Daniel, and Olahunsoye Oyinlola respectively as well as the pdp Chairman in the state all spoke assuring PDP leadership of 80% of Osun vote come February , 16.

Earlier the candidate and the National Chairman had led other leaders of the party to the palaces of the Ooni of Ife at Ile Ife and the Oba of ijesaland in Ijesa on a courtesy call where the two royal father's prayed for them.

ABUJA–THE cold relationship between the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris,was openly displayed, Tuesday,in Abuja during the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration,with the former refusing to accept handshake extended to him by the police boss.

Both were at the event held at the National Archade,Abuja,to mark the climax of activities of the 2019 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration.


The police chief,who was standing near the mounted podium at the event, had saluted the Senate President, preparatory to a handshake as has been the practice but instead of walking towards Idris to accept the handshake from him,the Senate President steadily looked at him and walked away to shake the service chiefs who were standing together with the IGP.

But the case was different with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara,who had arrived at the occasion not only in company of the Senate President but also took walked to the podium to take salutes at the same time.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Presidential campaign train made a stop in two South West states of Ekiti and Ondo on Monday with the Presidential Candidate of the party, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus charging the people to be ready to vote PDP and defend their votes.

Addressing crowd of jubilant party supporters at the Ado Ekiti sports stadium, and M.K.O. Abiola Democracy Park, Akure, Atiku said the people should resist any attempt to steal their votes.

Referring to the July 14, 2018 gubernatorial election, Atiku told the mammoth crowd "they stole your votes here, and in Osun states last year and we are still in court, don't allow them repeat it again this time"

The PDP Presidential candidate said after stealing their job, APC is now planning to steal their votes, but they must not allow it.

"They are not talking to you, they are not campaigning because they have nothing to show but they are planning to steal your votes and you must not allow them.

"The economy is collapsing, no food on the table for the hardworking Nigerians, insecurity all over the place because the President is sleeping, working only three of the 24 hours in a day.

"The President has sourced out the Presidency of the country to college of selfish persons operating as Cabals and who are only interested in their private gains.

Secondus noted that the APC administration has destroyed all institutions of democracy from legislature to Judiciary but said they will fail because Nigerians have rejected them.

"PDP is bringing in an energetic President who has been tested in private and public sectors and well equipped for the challenges.

The rally in the two states was also addressed by the Director General of the Campaign organisation, Senator Bukola Saraki, the Coordinator of the South west zone and former Governor of Ekiti state Ayodele Fayose.

The two states have no gubernatorial election this year same as Osun state where the Presidential Campaign train heads to on Tuesday.
