Chelseamann agreed a pickup fee with Mikkyangel. The pickup fee covers the transport cost and most importantly physical inspection. The picker only did the former.
A simple activation to the home screen would've shown the blacklist. Chelseamann paid him fully for this I repeat. Fully!


The whole reason for pickup is to avoid what we don't check from IMEIs and texts with the sellers. It's the reason why Offerup exists: To limit fraud.

Now why will you get fully paid (before pickup oo), you then decided on your own not to spend 5 mins checking a phone properly. A 400k+ phone unsealed, without activation??

If you're a new picker with this issue, we get to understand. But no, you aren't. In fact, you're the "Mungo Park" of the Offerup, so you're entitled to be aggressive. You're the Zuckerberg of California, so you have the right to play with people's money with no feedback.

Was it not this I was trying to ask over the phone when you had your "boss" call me? I asked specifically, if your hesitation was because of the particular software being used. And that I was going to go ahead to check other 3d software on it. Your boss still made the assertion that it won't concern him at all even at that because laptop is booting to windows. We're not talking about something not working as a result of sub par Intel hardware in this case, but that Intel cannot be used for 3d workload without trying to force use of non-functional GPU. Good day fellow nairalanders. Please I need help in addressing this issue that is pending.
I had a deal with Wolfenstein, I got a laptop from him on the 7th of may which arrived to client on the 13th.
Now the laptop comes with a Clause of "GPU not installing", which simply means I'm paying for a system without a functional GPU and as such system relies on Intel graphics for all it's operations.
Now when system got to client, client put it on and it was working and I relayed that to Wolfenstein as well.
A couple days later on the 13th specifically(5 days later), client buzzed me and told me that the laptop is misbehaving while he tries to run his softwares on it(design software like Orion) which he said his previous Laptop could run without graphics card, as a matter of fact my bro also made use of that same program on his very old hp laptop which was generations inferior to this one in every ramifications.
We tried uninstalling the GPU only for the screen to trip off with keyboard light still on. Client tried everything but to no avail. Client had no choice but to force shutdown. Please note I was doing video call with client to try to troubleshoot the issue because uninstalling the GPU would make the system rely on it's Intel graphics. He tried uninstalling the GPU and the system went off, only displaying keyboard light and screen blank, and was inoperable. Only BIOS was accessible
Even tried to disable graphics in the bios and that was even worse as it wasn't able to boot into BIOS again. The system was the connected to tv and it was showing some very bad artifacts which was not normal. Now I explained all these to Wolfenstein that the system is not working well.
He even opened the Dell website after doing some research and was reading to me about this unit having issues according to reports of people on Dell forum. He read to me that the laptop had issues with running softwares programs.
Now, I told him that client is still interested in getting a system and wouldn't mind swapping for a functional one, or even upgrading the laptop. So he should check for options for the client.
Only for him to tell me that he's not the one in charge, that he has a boss and cannot make any decision without his boss's consent, and he'll have to relay to his boss.
I told him that I didn't buy system from his boss, that I bought directly from him.
Fast forward and he told me his boss boss will call me. After trying my best to convince him that system is malfunctioning while trying to run softwares, he was being elusive and claiming that it's because program is higher than system specs.
I'm at a dilemma here, because client is a very calm and good natured person and the worst I expected was for him to accept a swap option. But they are refusing that as it's clear the unit is malfunctional and are trying to avoid responsibility.
Please note that, it's within a week of purchase that issue was noticed and as such should still be under warranty.
What's the way forward in a case like this.

Miiss Ametu told me herself to help her sell both phones, I didn't act on my own...infact I left my phone that morning to go sell her own before that incident happened. The issue of me selling a locked phone as factory unlocked isn't even what happened, she paid for a factory unlocked phone which was supposed to be picked by AK(new york picker) AK can confirm this, but wasn't picked as AK said no dollar that day I had the option of either refunding or looking for a new deal which I did item was sold as Tmobile unlocked and I told Ifexc the picker to pls comfirm item when being asked by her. This lady came here stating I told Ifexc to unlock the phone for me...omo people are wicked o. Well I this is business and anything can happen but I kulkid always bear responsibility, there's nobody on here that can come out that I have ever sold a faulty phone for him ot her or took their penny abi una no well? I dey go deliver items worth millions for people wen I never see, money gets sent to me for TLC deals and I always deliver. Is now that someone defrauded me through a fake transfer una won con dey talk nonsense? Come I dey vex o! this case hasn't ended. You all will soon hear the end result soon, miss amentu I apologize for what happened and I'm deeply sorry but you telling the police I'm a thief and I steal phones to sell and yet after being locked up in a cell for almost 2 days no food no water no bath u still came here to spoil my name is just plain evil. I will not be commenting on this issue till the real culprit is caught then na another case we all go start.

The case is still on going, those typing kulkid is a scammer just know that the police are reading all your comments and observing...Ive been proven not guilty and being told to refund the remaining part of her money while we track the real culprit. Any accusation claims directed to me will be taken up by the police as a case of defamation, If u want to go to Ikeja police station Area F just continue typing rubbish about me. Kreamie you are the first person I'm coming for once the real culprit is found, this our beef ends here I promise you. The police are observing this thread as at now and every commmt u make or have made is under investigation.

All that happened is a simple misunderstanding and clumsiness from my own part, items ordered by her got delivered to her I did not run away first time. Now she contacted me again for Tlc deals and I delivered. Both items landed and I contacted her but she insisted I help her sell the phone(na hear I take enter problem). I agreed with the mind I want to help, fast foward to on tuesday last week I got a call from a seller on jiji for the iPhone 12. Long story short I went to the seller at maryland after telling her of the new development. Ok when i got there we went to the ATM it wasn't working and he had to do a bank transfer. Omo I didn't know it was a fake transaction because I see am with my eyes it showed everything even my names and his balance. But hello house, I still wasn't convinced because bI never see money for my account so I told the buyer oga I can't drop phone without money o. He replied what will now happen if u get debited and u still have the phone later. That was how we went back and he said since my icloud is on the phone I should leave it with him if I recieve alert I can send code. I agreed and left leaving phone with him something I'm regretting now, ok I got to CV and I saw password has been resetted...I started panicking and ran immediately to the police and reported the case. Later that day miss Ametu was calling how far, fear couldn't allow me tell her what was going on so I tolf her she shouldn't worry seller did transfer but it didn't go but phone is still with me(I was under pressure, she too was beginning to understand something is going on). Me was with the impression say money go show, money didn't show...so I called the buyer hoq far u dey with my phone u dey with my money phone is not even mine abeg I don't want to go to the police station for money I no chop pls how can we see. The useless guy told me to come to No.5 goriola str off adeku road. I went there that day leaving all I was doing only to get there and the guy refused to pick my calls. Omo na there I realised I need to tell owner of item what was going on, I was on the road and she was calling and calling I said wait mk I reach house so I expalin to u but dont worry everything is fine. It was when I got home I told her everything, she told me she wasn't understanding me I should come to ikeja I immediately wore my cloths no bath I ran to ikeja with her remaining phone. Only to get there and I was arrested, now they locked me up since yesterday no food no water no phone(not till now), she told the police I'm a scammer I'm a thief I must refund her full money. And I asked her madam, If I'm a thief and scammer I go leave my house come meet u after what happened? Will I tell u my real house address? Will I still pick your calls? For christ sake I was still with 2 your iphone 12(one still incoming). Rn I'm being held in police custody and she's requesting I pay whole amount. Held someone who's innocent and police are requesting for 150k bail, the boy with the 12 number still dey go but police are not saying anything but I must pay. It is well sha...we dey learn lesson everyday. I never ask ifex to unlock any phone, seller said Tmobile unlocked...I only told ifex to pls confirm availability of the phone because this lady money has been with me but due to my offerup account issues which even him knows about I couldn't pick up deal with AK. I lost all my deals that period with my account blocked. I had to get a replacement deal for her which is the deal with ifecx. So my plight now is please mrs Ametu I have no intension of scamming u, scammers don't pick calls after u send money scammers don't give out their real names and address and scammers will not come to you. Now uve claimed I'm a thief I never had any phones with me which isn't true. You said I brought a locked phone to you which isn't true because the phone with you has my icloud on(I couldn't take any more risk). I've gotten a buyer for the phone rn who's in CV but he can't come to the station...so kindly come to the station and I'll remove the icloud if u can take it to him so he pays you. Then we can settle this matter peacefully, I have people ready to stand for me and is ready to write an undertaking. Your remaining phone with ifecx u paid 317,500 will be refunded to you or I sell for 285k and refund u what is left. While the phone stolen I'm gonna write an undertaking to provide your phone to you before month end. I no dey run because I don't have a mind to scam anyone...na make I help everybody na put me for this mess so understand I am not happy with all that is going on. Today its my turn tomorrow it can be anybody, this is business and anything can happen but if u all choose to point an accusing finger at me then no problem.
