Because it does not contain any deep revelation of the universe. Its more or less same thing with the bible. The bible even beats it by a well arranged creation account which is why i spend my time debunking the bible and never quran. Besides, the quran is not a cosmology textbook, so you can't say it got its cosmology right because then, you have destroyed the integrity of the book.

Have you even asked yourself why atheists neglected muslims? Its because you people and your quran is damaged beyond repair. we have therefore left you in the dust being.

As an atheist, i only feel threatened by biblical creation, i dont feel threatened by quran's explanation, except where it says that you must kill all non muslims and when you cannot kill them, you must support those who do with your heart.

According to Al-Baqarah V190, especially the footnote under it, Muslims are obligated to kill, and must take part in Jihad, Jihad being of ultimate importance in Islam, with full numbers and weaponry. Both the quaran and the bible contains crude cosmology but its not my fight.

Seun: I don't think promoting atheism per se is worth it, but I like what James Randi is doing - promoting skepticism. He doesn't say "I want you to be an atheist". He conducts experiments to test the claims of people who claim to have supernatural powers and at the end he says "we've shown you the evidence, you make up your own mind". I like that approach. If religious people think you're trying to convert they'll close their ears and their minds (persecution complex), so we shouldn't do that. We should just challenge them to use their 'God-given' brains more often.

But the religious complex is an inferiority complex that brings laziness and lack of self confidence and belief in one's ability . How do we deal with that?

The correlation is because of the possibility of chemical evolution of all life from inorganic matter and not because of an old skyman molding dust into shape then breathing into it, how does that even make sense to you?
