Simple answer:

Believe in HIM and HE will save you from sin (also from the power of satan). If you truely believe in your heart that HE alone can save you, HE will save you and HE will come and dwell in you, lead, teach, guide you to live a holy and righteous life — that is bearing fruits.

What happens when you stop believing? You fall back to sin. The wages of sin is death

If you live in sin, and fighting to be free from the sin but refuse to accept in soberness that you can't do it alone, how do you want GOD to help you?

If you live in sin and totally accept you can't be free from the sin by your own power, the only solution is believe in JESUS CHRIST (GOD) and ask HIM to help you... that is, after accepting you are sinner and need redemption(in soberness, humility & even in tears). HE will help you because he Listens to you. Trust and have faith that HE will help. *Don't doubt!*
HE could direct you to start reading/listening to the Word of GOD especially the the New Testament , to start constant fasting, praying constantly, direct you to a holy person to help you, GOD sends HOLY SPIRIT to dwell in you, etc. And the HOLY SPIRIT will dwell in (Baptism) and free you from sin. HE will start helping you to constantly live holy life.

You can't save yourself, neither can anything/anyone else aside believing in JESUS CHRIST (the SAVIORS/MESSIAH). HE alone saves! Believe in HIM!

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. While Godly freedom is freedom to do good and what is right. GOD didn't create Adam and Eve to do whatever they want otherwise they wouldn't have been punished for doing evil. Our freedom in Holy Spirit is to do what is right/good always. .

They could however make little mistakes, but the mistakes will easily be recognized by them as mistakes when they are shown to them... They are not deliberate. So always go through every bit of the teachings and prophesies of those who teach & prophesize, and make sure they're word of GOD and true.

It's almost hard for satan and his agents to hide their true "fruits". No matter what they do to hide them, there will always be evil/lies "leaking" in them and you will always detect it as a true born again. Believe, trust and obey GOD's Words, and you will be empowered to see.
Be careful mingling with that person who calls his/herself a believer, yet tolerate evil or is controlled by evil. Good and evil can not mix together, otherwise the good get corrupted easily by the bad.

Fruit of the Spirit of true teachers/prophets: Goodness , gentleness, faithfulness, self-control, love, joy, peace, patience , kindness, , (Galatians 5:22-23), truth, honesty and other GOD approved good behaviors you can think of. Whatever they do will be holy/righteous behaviors (they are of GOD)


— Fruits of false prophets/teachers

Hate, divisiveness, anger, hypocrisy, pride, false prophesies/teachings, lies, love for money/power/worldliness, selfishness, and other bad behaviors you can think of. They fake the holy/righteous behaviors. But you can occasionally/always detect the wrong things they do, say or approve... ungodly/bad things , or things that are not GOD approved (they are false prophets/teachers. They are not of GOD)

Is it OK to be funded by people who will prevent you from preaching the truth and as the Holy Spirit directs you?

It is absolutely not OK. The worst is collecting the fund and preaching as they want you to preach. You are serving them not GOD.
The Church needs to be independent of such people. That is what you should be working towards, not serving satan thinking you are serving GOD.
Preach the whole truth!

You should make sure your activities in that job is pleasing GOD, not just helping your religious organization, company, nation, tribe, race, school, market, hospital, charity organization, etc. It must please GOD. You must make sacrifices and let your light shine on that place of work.

If you don't shine the true light, you are definitely working for satan knowingly or unknowingly.

The true Church (Body of CHRIST) is not backing anyone in the elections. Those who claim to be representing the church are representing themselves. It Is their Individual choices not the Church. We depend on GOD alone for sustainance not the world or politics.

I'm putting this out now so that no one blames the Body of CHRIST and true believers for their countries woes in the future, or start writing false history of how the church supported this person or that, so so so time.

The word of GOD is very sufficient. Read/listen it continously, believe in it and watch yourself grow with the help of GOD.

Beware that they may be pushing you toward satanic teaching of: "do what you want".

Ofcourse, not everyone who says "we are no longer under the law" has bad intentions. Some may be referring to certain practices in the old testament law (which actually don't save anyone). Other may mean not obeying all of GOD's laws (this is satanic teaching)
The truth is that all the old laws are good. They were specifically made for the ancient Israel to prepare them for the spiritual Isreal(new testament Church). The new law/commandments is more specific, advanced and spiritual.
There are certain things in the old law that are not necessary for the Holy Church... This doesn't mean a church member can not practice them if they need to. The problem is that the practices without holiness cannot save the church member. But the member can be saved in holiness without the practices.
Example of such unnecessary practices:
- Genital circumcision.
- Animals sacrifice
- Avoiding certain foods (doesn't mean you should eat bad foods
)
- Water baptism (HOLY SPIRIT baptism is necessary)
- Tithe (we give more than mere tithe)
- Observing Sabbath only on 7th day (we observe sabbath all the time). Meaning we live in holiness all the time. It's foolishness to "work sinfully" on sabbath plus other days, and pretend to live holy by resting & not doing thesame work on the 1st day of week (Sunday)
- Fighting wars (it is spiritual wars).
Lest I forgot, I think christain's physical war doesn't need to involve killings and violence. If you can't fight wars without killing and violence, you need not to fight. One of the problems with such war is that it is dangerous to kill the innocent or do other unjust damages. If GOD doesn't approve the war, don't fight it.

If you save N100 naira in a month, and you are moved by GOD to donate N20 to a true man of God, that amount is already more than a tithe, it is acceptable to GOD and its not a sin to give to people you believe deserves it.

When you become free from the power of satan, people close to you who are not saved will begin to see you as abnormal person, see you as mad person, the evil one could begin to use them against you, they could even begin to hate you due to difference in opinion, etc. It's important to keep praying for them, continue to love them, show them the truth in gentle way, shine your light always etc.

They missed the "fruit of the spirit" they should be looking out for, which differentiate born-again from truely mad, demon-possessed, "abnormal",sick people.

They have been blinded from knowing the truth because they are too focus on the world. They have been decieved by those they thought are teaching them the truth. They live like the world and thought it's OK to live that way. If there is light in them they will know the truth and listen to you. Keep praying for them.

Once you keep knowing the truth and growing in faith, these things won't surprise or be strange to you, because the Word of GOD says it will happen to us. GOD's Holy Spirit will always comfort and make you and all of us happy. That is the beautiful thing about this journey

JESUS CHRIST called the Church "ME". Do you know the implications this? You fight the Holy Church, you are fighting JESUS CHRIST.

Have you gone for multiple HIV test to be sure that the first test is correct?

What you should consider more is your future child/children. You could inquire from a competent doctor to help you do what is right in order not to infect your future children. That is what matters most in this case. I believe you can manage the HIV with proper diets and good drugs.

Try to confirm that the test is correct. You could get a man of God to heal you. If you have faith, the disease can be healed

Greetings nairalander's, i am planning my wedding which we hope to take place in December2020/January2021, and the church we are to wed gave some obligation to meet, which includes pregnancy test two weeks to the wedding, genotype, blood group, HIV, honorarium for officiating minister and other little things to meet.
We when for the test together for genotype, blood group, HIV, and we were asking to come back the next day for the results which we felt worried about the delay, so we decided i go alone for the results the next day but to my surprise I was giving my result and that my partner should come for the other results, and so the next day we were able to collect the results, but the issue is that the results is HIV positive, we were devastated on getting the results but we have decided to go ahead with the wedding. Member and pastors in the house please your advice are needed on this issue
