Hell is the
destiny of sinners,unbelivers,and
unrighteus. Don't be deceive,some people
are now teaching that there is no hell or
place of eternal punishment;that it is all a
figment of the imagination. Some teach that
the sinner make his own hell through the
mental anguish he experience as a result of
his evildoing.Other teach that there is hell
but the people who go there will be burnt
up once. While others, still believe that instead
of hell,God has prepared a place of
temporary punishment,where sinners can
have a second chance to repent.None of this
has a valid scriptural basis. Both in the Old
and the New Testaments,God's word
consistently declares that there is a place of
fiery and everlasting retribution fo
unrighteus. The fearful reality of this place,as
well as the pitiable state of all those will end
up in it,it clearly revealed in the
scripture.Psalms 9:17 says,"The wicked shall
be turned into hell, and all the natioes that
forget God. HELL WIL NT BE YUR DESTINY IN
JESUS NAME. |
After salvation, the most important choice
you will need to make is who to marry. This
choice
is so important that if you miss it, you will
suffer for long, if you get it right then you
will enjoy forever. A bad marriage can affect
every other area of your life. This subject is
so important, so many married people are
hoping to be single again so as to make the
right choice. If you are single please don't
just be in a hurry to get married, you have
the best opportunity to prepare for it. For
two people to come together to live in peace
and harmony, they must agree spiritually,
mentally and physically. Just like an elephant
cannot marry an ant so also a believer
cannot marry an unbeliever. If an elephant
marries an ant how would they live, if a goat
marries a fish where would they meet? You
must look for a godly man or a godly
woman to marry, nothing can beat this. The
devil's primary target is the family. He knows
that everyone belongs to a family and if he
can make two wrong people meet then he
has succeeded affecting the community and
nations negatively. Ignore your age and the
pressure for a moment, the
pressure in a wrong marriage is far worse.
God has somebody for you but you must set
your priorities right. What do you need in a
woman? What do you need in a man?
Marriage is not about what you want, it is
about who you need, that will make you
better while
you make him better. It is about destiny.
That is why you must know your purpose
before you
get married. (Genesis 2:18.) You must pray
before you choose. God knows the best
person for you, it is only wise to seek His
will. It is very easy to know God's will when
sex is not involved. The moment sex is
involved and you want to know His will then
He
will blank you out. Why? Because you have
broken His first Law of NO SEX before
marriage. If you have had sex in the past
then
you need to repent totally and stay away
from each other for some time then you can
seek
the face of God. Your marriage will not be
hell on earth. Your marriage will be
honourable in
the name of Jesus Christ.
* Don't marry for sex,
* Don't marry because you are of age,
* Don't marry because you are getting old,
* Don't marry because you are lonely,
* Don't marry because you need someone to
support you financially,
* Don't marry because you
mistakenly got pregnant,
* Don't marry because you don't want to
lose the person,
* Don't marry because of family pressures,
* Don't marry because you like
the idea of marriage and admire every
wedding gown you see,
* Don't marry because all your friends are
getting married.
But
* Get married because you want to fulfil
destiny.
* Get married because you want to be a help
mate.
* As a man, get married because you want
to fulfil your purpose.
God will help you in choosing, please let His
will be done. Amen! |
Below are the details of what he said:
The elders have a say, if children of the same
mother enters into a room to talk and come
out smiling, they have not told each other
the truth, Alright so in the next 3 minutes,
you might not be smiling, because am going
to tell you the truth, because am your daddy,
strictly speaking, and I have searched the
scripture, there is nowhere that I have
found where it is written, if you wear make-
up, you will go to hell or you will not make it
to heaven, I can’t find it in the bible, no
where at all, but I have done my own
research, there are two places in the whole
bible where references were made to
painting of face, only two places, and the
two places are bad. One of the places talked
about Jezebel. How many of you will name
your daughter Jezebel? 2kings,9:30, the day
Jezebel was going to die, she did make up
properly, painted her face, dented her face
with jewelries, but at the end of the day,
dog ate her.
The second place is in Jeremiah 4: 29-30
where God was speaking in anger to
daughters of Zion, He says when I make up
my mind to deal with you, you can paint
your face as you like, it is not going to
deliver you, read it, you have your Bible to
read. Those are the only two places I found,
and they are terrible references.
Now as far as am concerned, it is up to you
to decide how you want to look, you want
to make up, you want to paint yourself, you
are at liberty.
If for any reason whatsoever God decides
not to allow you to enter heaven, sorry o!!!
The point I'm making is this, nobody ever
add sugar to honey. Have you seen anybody
adding sugar to honey? Anytime you see a
piece of furniture that is painted, wooden
furniture that is painted, the wood is
inferior. When the wood is ebony, nobody
paints it, no no no. I think children of God
should realise they are precious enough, by
the special grace of God and by shed blood
of Jesus Christ. They are honey, they don’t
need sugar. Some people go about in the
name of fashion
wearing wigs. I'm not being judgemental at
all. This is not law, there is no where in the
Bible which says if you wear wigs, you can't
make it to heaven. But this hair that you are
wearing, from whose head was it cut? Do
you know who was the original owner of
the hair? Do you know
what kind of anointing is in that hair? It is
put in the most important part of your body,
the head!!! Thou anointed my head. Things
are so bad now that some ladies comes for
ordination with wigs on, I always asked
them which one do you want me to anoint,
the wig or the head? I told you, you will not
smile by the time I finished, I have not been
legalistic, I have
not said thou shall not wear wig. I'm only
talking to my daughters, my own children.
I read something in the book of
revelation:7,1-3, some Angels were sent
from heaven to deal with the inhabitants of
the world, after the rapture, the bible says I
heard , the Almighty God said ,before you
begin to deal with people, let me mark them,
let me seal them on their forehead, so that
we know those that the bullet should not
hit. What we wear matters. Why do you
think the army wear uniforms? It is so that
they will not accidentally shoot their own
members. Can God recognize you at a
glance, that is, as a child of God? Some
people say it does not matter, and that what
is inside is what is important, I agree with
the last part, but what is inside will show
outside, it will show on the outside, it will
show, don’t let anybody deceived you.
When I became General Overseer, I brought
a group of teachers to come and teach in
the bible college, and they began to teach
series of things I did not bargain for. They
were teaching that God is not interested in
the outside, He is interested in the inside,
this man (the G. O.) is legalistic, he is too
strict. So I went to Oyingbo market to buy
two oranges, one ripe and the other green
all over. My bible
students were beginning to turn to rebels,
and God gave me wisdom, so I stood before
the class and I said, which of this oranges
will you take if I ask you to pick one? They all
pointed at the yellow and ripe one, and I
said why? they said because that one is
going to be the sweeter one. How do you
know? You have not seen the inside. They
said what is inside is showing
outside. |
In 1984, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, then
captain of the new Nigerian Bank football
club, Benin, was banned by the Nigerian
Football Association from all football activity
in Nigeria.
Though extremely harsh, it was the catalyst
that forced Keshi into exile and eventually
via Ivory Coast, to Belgium to become
Nigeria’s first professional player in Europe.
Though this was the beginning of his
lifelong altercations with the Nigerian
football governing body, it made him a
pioneer and the catalyst to Nigeria’s world
football ascension.
Many followed suit, myself eventually and the
polishing the exodus to Europe brought us
all propelled us to the fifth Fifa-ranked
nation in the world by 1994 with Keshi as
our captain and leader – a feat still
unsurpassed by any African nation.
Last Tuesday I was awakened by a phone
call I still wish was just a nightmare,
announcing the sudden death of our leader,
captain, brother and friend Stephen Keshi at
a tender age of 54 in Benin City, Nigeria.
Things have never been the same since then
as pain, memories and questions keep on
flooding my mind non-stop.
Sadly, many in my great nation Nigeria are
not renowned for celebrating our legends,
heroes or successful sporting sons when
they are alive, talk less of when they die, but
rather fanatically try to tear them down.
They are quickly forgotten and that further
makes this great man’s death so disturbing.
From the legendary 22 players of the 1994
golden team, of which I am one, Keshi
becomes the fifth one we have lost in recent
years. Just some weeks ago was the fourth
anniversary of the death of another legend
in the person of Rashidi Yekini and it went
almost celebrated. We also lost Uche Okafor,
Thompson Oliha and Wilfred Agbonivbare.
Keshi as a player was strong, a good passer
of the ball, strong in aerial balls, initiator of
attacks from behind, scored goals,
motivated the team and most of all always
wanted to win, even at training sessions
and was an Afcon winner with Nigeria
1994.
As a coach he was extremely successful:
Afcon 2013 winner, qualified to the World
Cup three times, twice with Nigeria and
once with Togo, though regrettably they
allowed him only to lead his team to the
World Cup once with Nigeria 2014.
I fear though today many, most of whom
Keshi had lifelong disagreements with
based on their dubious management of
funds destined for his captained or coached
team among others, are now singing
praises of his name, but will soon forget to
acknowledge future anniversaries of his
passing away. Sad!
Personally I was privileged to have played
for years with Keshi in the Super Eagles of
Nigeria, eventually as his captain and he my
coach with the Super Eagles. It was always
an exceptional relationship, maybe because
we came from the same state, or because I
was a hard-working defensive midfielder in
front of him, or because his lovely and
unfortunately deceased wife liked me like a
junior brother or simply just because most
probably, he had a great heart. I guess I will
never know.
Keshi taught me a lot, for which I will be
eternally grateful, some of it by his incessant
advice and direction, but most of all by just
watching and observing him at work.
He was a very direct and vocal person, who
three years ago publicly chastised me for
questioning his team line-up at the
Confederations Cup in Brazil as a coach, but
quick to be grandiose about it some time
later when we spoke on the telephone as a
typical senior brother.
Nigeria have lost one of our greatest sons
and ambassador worldwide but should we
want to produce more in the future we have
to immortalise Keshi and not just verbally
but monumentally. That way the upcoming
ones have something to work up to.
Keshi is bodily gone, but in our hearts,
Skippo will forever live on. God bless you
Steve and thanks for everything though you
never liked me saying it. Thanks big bro. We
miss you already! |

There was a girl who was travelling from
lagos to
Osun state. When she got to Ibadan, she
told the driver to stop that she wants to
buy some drinks, the driver agreed and
she went. When she came back, she saw
that
another person had taken her seat.
She was angry and told
the man to come down but the driver
insisted that she must not enter the car
again, her load was carried out and she
waited for another bus. Not up to 15minute
she
heard that there was an
accident. When she got there, she found
out dat it was dat same bus she was
sent out
from but what she saw when the bus
door was opened made her burst into
tears. They found out it was only that
man that sat on her
seat who died and the woman said in a
loud voice (THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ME,
BUT I RECEIVED MERCY) YOU WILL RECEIVE

Prof. Samuel Oye Bamidele who was
appointed Vice-Chancellor of Ekiti State
University (EKSU), is a senior pastor of
Deeper Life Bible Church. He has revealed
how he copes with ladies who tempt
members of the academic staff of the
institution.
While acknowledging that every human
being is tempted at one point or the other,
he however said that the power of being a
Christian is that God will give you the ability,
the unusual supernatural power to be able
to overcome temptation without falling into
it.
In his words: “There is a difference between
temptation and falling into temptation. For
example, we are all men here and that
makes it good.
Supposing a woman is here now, the
atmosphere will not be the same. I will not
say I have not been tempted in the sense
that maybe an amorous person comes in,
wanting to show a quarter of her breast. I
will say, ‘Excuse me, go out and dress
properly. As a lecturer, you can’t come into
my office like that.’
“Some students will come with the intention
to tempt you, trying to make eye contacts,
and I will say, what are you trying to do? For
you to be able to overcome temptation, you
must resist it. But some people don’t resist
the picture of temptation, so they run into it.
So, to respond to your question directly, I
want to say that to God be the glory, since I
gave my life to Christ, I have not been
tempted to the extent of falling, touching
another person’s wife or student; never,
never. And it is not only girls or women that
cause temptation; some are tempted with
money. They supervise students and collect
money on projects. I supervise Ph.D students
and I don’t take anything from them.
You cannot even try me. So, all those ones, if
you can keep yourself from being attracted
by women or by money or material things of
this world and you are contented, it will be
easy for you to overcome temptation. But
summarily, every human being will face
temptation at one point or the other, but the
power to overcome that temptation can only
come from Christ.”
On what measures his administration will
put in place to prevent cases of sexual
harassment of female students by their male
lecturers, Prof. Samuel Oye Bamidele,
revealed:
“We are going to work on that. I have said I
am committing my first year to IGR and this
other one is academic and discipline. We are
trying to put some things in place that will
checkmate some lecturers that cannot keep
their libido, and to that extent, we are going
to go through management and then the
Senate to fashion out some strategies to
protect our female students from sexual
harassment. That one is being planned, I
may not feel out everything now.
“Things are changing in this university and
that is the truth. The head matters. If there is
seriousness at the top, everybody will fall in
line. They know that if I catch you sexually
harassing female students, you will be in
trouble. If as the vice-chancellor I am also
one of those carrying girls and ladies
around, I won’t have the mouth to tell those
who are doing it to stop or sanction them in
line with the rules. Now, it is no longer
going to be business as usual.
“Some regulations will come out in a short
while to checkmate all those things in terms
of the dressing of the students, because
students also can be harassers. Female
students can harass male students by their
amorous outlook. We want to checkmate
those things and for the staff, admin,
teaching and non-teaching, we are going to
have some codes that will create a level of
restriction as to how they can harass female
students. |

USE YOUR OBSTACLES! What are those obstacles standing in your way? Is it your past mistakes, failures, hard experiences? Use them as fuel for a forward progress! Let me give you an instance. When you are driving and you sight a road block ahead of you, what do you do? You start planning on how to manoeuvre the road blocks isn't it? That is also what these obstacles are for. You make mistakes so you can learn that there is always a better way and that helps you to think out the best way! If you made a mistake and you are still blaming yourself, then it means you never learnt anything-you have not yet seen your mistakes as a big lesson! Until you start seeing your mistakes as a lesson, you will continue to fail! But when you see your mistakes, failures as a lesson, you will want to carefully learn your lessons, find out where and why you failed, and then you will begin to strategically make plans for a big come-back! Use your obstacles, do not let your obstacles use you! Never let yourself become a victim of your past mistakes and failures, instead see them as opportunity to get wiser, know and become a better person! A former colleague of mine would always say, "If there were no obstacles, one would become extremely stupid". How true! |

As a stakeholder in the joint project called Nigeria, let me use this medium to write this open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, on the need for him and his team to transform our country and be thorough in the efforts to sanitise the country. It is a great worry and concern that the nation’s economy is in distress, as more Nigerians are now struggling to provide their basic needs, hence the need for more aggressive economic policies that would revive dead companies and also increased the potential of the private sector. I have to commend the desire of President Buhari’s economic plan to re-invest in the agricultural sector and to seek other alternatives to oil and gas, which have fared very badly in recent times. I also call on the President to encourage state-governments, the private sector and individual Nigerians to intensify their efforts in exploring the means of diversifying the sources of national income, while initiating genuine policies that will protect the citizens, create wealth and meaningfully engage the teeming unemployed youths in the country. President Buhari also needs to unite the county that has been fractured by ethnicity, religion and politics, by giving all Nigerians a sense of belongings in the Nigerian project and lay to rest all divisive tendencies that have worked against the growth and progress of the country. I enjoin all Nigerians to support the Federal Government’s fight against corruption, as this is a collective responsibility that requires our collective efforts, which ought to be carried out at all levels, in order that we may recover our wasted opportunities. This period calls for sober reflection and the need for Nigerians to rely on God, to make our efforts towards the emergence of a new Nigeria bear desired fruits. God bless Nigeria! God bless you! God bless me! |
