University of ibadan {ui} admision policy is the simplest and liberal so far, u're first rated on ur o level i.e each grade carries marks like A1 is 6marks,B2 is 5 down to c6 wich is 1mark, ur jamb score divided by 10 all these are usd in computing grades, if u meet d cut off, u wil be shortlistd afterwich u wil b invited for interactive session wich is d post ume there u wil be asked 5 questions if u score 3or more, ur admision is guaranted. If ure nt shortlistd at all u can change ur course. I got admited last year witout any conection whatsoever. If confused contact me on 07068314784

@op: History is included in the Nigerian syllabus, and there very good textbooks of history in the market. the problem is that there is acute shortage of its teachers, coupled with students hatred for it, i offered history in secondary sch, precisely in SS2 when a blind teacher was posted to my sch. Only 6 of us wrote it in WAEC in which i have a B3. Am having a smooth ride at the university because of my background knowledge in secondary school history.

Can anybody tell me the YARDSTICKS webometrics use in compiling this list, do they ever visit the unis to inspect things or deduce their facts from the unis website? Cos am kinda confused.

@op, dnt call any of those scammer, ui part time form is out now and i g ues it wil soon close, if u're close to ibadan u can easily come to the admission office for 4ther info, or u visit ui.edu.ng den click on distant learning centre if d info u nid w'be there.

The best university in Nigeria to the best of my knowledge is the university of ibadan, ui may not be the best in terms of IT compliance but in academics ui is the best, a 2.2 graduate of ui wil beat other unis 1st class students handsdown, ui is operating 7 points system while others are using 5 point as the level attainable. 90% of Phd holders in nig got it from ui, 40% of Phd holders in africa got it frm ui. School fee stil the lowest in Nigeria.

I attest to all what you said concerning our vc, Prof I.F Adewole, i have also seen him physically addressing we the fresh students at jaja clinic when on tour of the clinic, he is truly a man of his words. He promised us at the orientation ceremony to give out his phone number and that of other principal officers of Ui which was printed and distributed to us the third day of our orientation. Greatest of the greatest uites!!!
