If your using a big gen capacitor inside your small gen..
1.. it will reduce d noise
2. It will put more work load on your coil..
All in all
It's not advisable.. switch back to the normal capacitor for ur small gen

Thanks boss.

collele:
Interested...But please why do you want to sell such a clean generator? Any faults?

No fault. It was gotten for a business. I got a new chiller/refrigerator and the gen is not powering it. That's why I'm selling to get a higher rated gen.

Yes, I have one that I bought from someone I met here on Nairaland. Its 300Wh. I paired it with a solar panel and it lasted the whole day. Nowadays, I use it with an 18W DC fan and it lasts the whole night.

Good afternoon boss, thanks a lot for your reply. I'll like to have your whatsapp number so I can discuss this with you extensively.

Good afternoon house. Is there anyone currently using a locally built laptop powerbank? I need reviews

Myzubby:

Update:

I went for a Nexus.

A good experience so far.

Cheers.

It's a good thing you went for Nexus. I'm still regretting the purchase of my Skyrun washing machine.

Good evening house. I'm planning on getting an inverter battery for a 1kva setup tomorrow. How much can I get a lifePo4 battery for this need?

Gptech:
It can't be weak engine if you have been taking good care of the generator and generator is not old. Get another technician to check it.

Generator is a year old. And I've been taking proper care of it.

End of the year scraping promo.

Gen professors in the house. Help needed.

My gen started making a weird sound that is similar to when the last drop of fuel is about to be quenched from the tank. However, the fuel tank is filled up and the oil tank is filled as well. My gen guy checked it and he concluded that the engine is weak and he advised me to buy half engine. How trusted is this suggestion?

I spend a lot of time online and needed to power lights, laptop, fan and phone. Here's what I bought:
12v 150w x 2 mono panels 23x2 = 46k
Souer 1kva pure sw inverter (solar charging only) = 40k
40amps pwm charge controller = 15k
Six months old 100ah Mercury battery bought from a neighbor that was upgrading = 25k
Cables, clips and mounting = 10k
That should be 136k
I didn't add any switch, fuse or breaker.

I use 15wx2 light bulbs.
My windows 7 laptop is old school not a power guzzler.
I bought a rechargeable DC only fan (13w) and connected it directly to battery terminals =18k
I added a dual power 12v/220v (30w) lg 32" television and connected it to the same battery terminals = 55k
I sometimes use a 500w rice cooker = 6k
My bedside fridge is 70w (220v), when there is good sun, I switch it on for 1hour =30k

My battery will float charge (14.2) around 10a.m on normal days, in the evening around 5p.m it's 12.7v. After powering only the fan overnight, it will read 12.5v.
I schedule laptop work to be in the daytime, I use the phone at night
I can use the lights and fan 24/7
I can watch TV non stop while sun is up
Those prices were for February, 2021
I have been happy since.

God will bless you abundantly for this breakdown. I really appreciate.

Good evening bosses in the house. I just happened to see 2.5HP on my gen today. I've tried to convert that to kva to no avail. What is the equivalent of 2.5hp in kva?

My pizza story..
So last nite I wanted eating something that I have never ever had before, so I called my wife and told her to suggest something..after a lot we settled on pizza..(being something my kids love alot and I have never eaten it..hahahaha.)
So I called our chef and place and order for it.
He suggested that I go for chicken pizza and I agreed.
An hour later it was brought up..the smell was just so beautiful.
I left it a while to complete some office work I was doing.
After that, I microwaved it got a can of malt from the fridge and settled down to eat..
I took out the first slice, put it in my mouth.. thought it was going to be something soft and easy to chew.
It took me a while to eat that one slice then being tht I staved myself so tht I could enjoy the pizza I went in for another slice, tried my best to finish it but it could not pass down.
I had to stop and cally wife if it's normal and she said yes.
I was like wow, what's d craze all about for pizza..
Abeg give me my eba and soup or rice.
Long story short..
I eat one and a half slice of it then drank the malt..
Luckily I had some chicken wings left in d fridge.
The remaining pizza ended up in my dustbin..
I don't think am gonna be eating such again.
10k wasted

Sorry to digress, why is your laptop plugged directly to the socket without a surge protector?

Good evening boss Gptech and other elites in the house. A friend whose dad sells engine oil said he's been using what he termed "light oil" since 2 years ago and his gen is working perfectly fine. How true is his claim that road side engine oil is the same quality with factory made engine oil?
