Did u jus miss the part that I mentioned "parental advice" ofcos no one can live my life for me but I will always give room too their advice that is why they are there to guide in the first place. In ur context I realized u would rather make a mistake than avoiding it. As for making mistakes n learning from it, shows u go with the saying experience is the best teacher. But I would rather by example is the best teacher. Let me give an example using animals. sheep move in flock so if the leader falls in a pit others must follow suit cos they want to experience it instead of learning from their leader's mistake. If parents advice against something, it means they have their genuine reasons and our interests at heart not because they want to see us miserable becos most of the time we r blind by emotions so we would need someone with rational thought n not irrational. Anyways sir that is my opinion u must not buy it.

Moji, omo yoruba jo ni wa, some parents do that cos of their selfishness, my parents are telling me I must marry from my hometown, why? Cos that'll make me visit them at intervals, most homes in my home town ain't balanced and the balanced ones I can point to are intertribal marriages

We never listen to the audio finish and e don release the visuals... Na wa o

to install cinnamon:

sudo apt-get install cinnamon-desktop-environment

to install mate:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-mate-desktop

After installation you logout. On the logout screen there is an option to choose which window manager you want to login with

The problem has been rectified, it was an error with my browser

maybe next year, we go form wats app group, lol if we see deals we cant afford, we can give members of the group to buy such deals. or we can help each other search for good deals. #just thinking tho#

This is such a great idea but we're Nigerians and selfishness is in our blood. People prefer to hoard good deals they can't afford rather than help out someone who's in need of it plus there will be confusion as lots of people will send mikky the same link, the end result is obvious, only one person will get the deal and the rest will think mikky is partial.

whenver you guys create the group, kindly contact me but I was thinking, why not create the group now and add interested persons, at least we can share knowledge till mikky is ready for pickups next year

That's surprising, your cpu specs should be able to handle almost anything thrown at it (unless you're trying to run a high end console emulator).
Anyway you can still try installing mate or cinnamon and use that as a window manager instead. I'm not a fan of gnome3 myself and don't use it, so I don't know about any issues with it

How do I change the windows manager

I need honest opinions here,

I ordered for a gold redmi note 4,4/64gb from et stores for a client,he unboxed today and got a MI A1 4/64gb(black)which is more expensive,
The client was honest enough to let me know,of which i gave the client two suggestions,

1)we return the phone back to china and the store sends what we originally order for.client disagreed saying the time frame would be too long, and he cant wait for another to be sent,

2)client pays back the balance for the MI A1 and i refund the store the balance, because,i put myself in the shoes of the seller as well, this must have been an honest mistake, and my consceince cant accept for the seller to take such loss,(which the client agreed to.

But i felt i was too selfish with the two options i gave the client, and wish to seek you guys opinion on the matter,so help me out here guys, thanks.

Really? Wawuu... I'm speechless

Kinda late

What is the specs of your pc? Ram? CPU? How much free disk space do you have?

Your pc performance is dependent on this. If your cpu is a celeron or an atom or your ram is less than 3gb, install xfce or mate as window manager instead of using gnome3

4gb ram, 800gb free space, core i3
