It is very difficult to start a wave and continue in it, especially in the music industry which is the interest of a great number of youth. Without mincing words, it is almost impossible for a musician to ‘blow’ if there are no upcoming artistes. That is why our Crown Feature for today is no other person but Oludemilade Martin Alejo who you know as ‘Jagaban’ or ‘Ycee’.

The Songwriter, singer and rapper extraordinaire broke into limelight after ‘Condo’, a single that featured Patoranking and earned him 2 nominations at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEA) in 2015, although he has been in the industry since 2012 even as a student in the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

In spite of the fact that uncle Ycee ditched me with an unlooking selfie at Adekunle Gold’s listening party in Lagos about this time last year, I’ll try to disarm my self of all comments for now (but I should not lie, it pained me).

If you’ve heard ‘too much juice, too much sauce’ and you pronounce it right, congrats. But as for those that will say ‘too much shoes, too much socks’ let me still doff my hat for you. For a fact that I’ve always been a die hard Ycee fan, I won’t deny the obvious about his good music and lyrical prowess. Right from Smile on Me, up until Juice; you cannot deny the fact that this guy is yet to reach his peak. I know you will disagree with me, but after ‘the Juice and Sauce‘, I believe his next best track is Omo Alhaji because of the entrance of beat after hearing that ‘Tiny Entertainment baby’ (only few people can understand the joy that track gives me).

Now we can talk about Su Mi and the others….oh waaaaaaaaaaait, we can’t forget his Panda cover (I melted after hearing it). There should a “Best of Ycee” disc where we can listen to all the tracks back to back.
https://i1.wp.com/www.theartofade.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/img_0106.jpg
Sadly, of all his nominations, Ycee has only won one (Headies Rookie of the year 2015). However, I don’t think that’s a minus to him because not everybody can be awarded; we can use our own Jay Jay Okocha as an example. We wish Ycee all the best life has to offer and more awards, hit tracks and no more dissing of David when he wants to take selfie.

Kings and Queens!

Let’s live up to the expectations of our names.

This is a far cry that needs to be heard! We can’t turn out backs on one another!

Not after 4 years!

Not after the strive, the pains, the fears!

We are one family. The Royal Set of 2016/2017. Let’s help our own!

To most of us, graduating in November is standard with all the glamourous preparations, ravishing outfits and garnishing smiles. To others, graduating at all is a mirage because they haven’t even been acknowledged by the school as graduates.

Why?

This is because of their inability to complete their fees. For how long are we going to sit, look, sympathize but yet, do nothing? For how long will we say ‘All is Well’ and ‘ God will provide’ when we do nothing to prove the existence of God to others? They are not demanding for dresses and suits for convocation, nor footwears for recognition, all they need is the means to the finalization of their education.

No amount is too small. No amount! Remember that life isn’t meaningful without helping others and life isn’t complete without impacting the lives of others.

We rise by helping others. Our lives aren’t ours, neither do we own ourselves because nothing we have is truly ours.We are just custodians of whatever we think we own. To a world where selfishness, wickedness and hatred governs, the dream of a better tomorrow lies not only in our heart and philosophy, but with our hands.
Here’s How You Can Save A Royal!

Let me quickly introduce you guys to the xiaomi mi max 2.

The new sweetheart i just bought.

She is a thing of beauty.

With its uni-metal, uni-body design, she feels premium to touch......i promise you, every one who holds the phone will ask its name and make.

Its design is also awesome, with the 2.5D curved edges and the corning gorilla glass 4 that was used for its display, she has a screen size of 6.44inches with a 74% screen to body ratio.
She is just beautiful, words cant phantom.

Switching her on....one will notice the crysp beautiful display she emits. With an awesome brightness ......like the brightness is just awesome.......coupled with the crysp display i swear xiaomi finish work.
The touch response is smooth, fast and very sensitive trust me......the display will wow you......even tho its an ips lcd display of 1080*1920 its feels like an AMOLED......even my samsung s4 and my friends s5 display is no way close to her display. Enough of the display already.

Now on performance.........FLUID is the word for it......with its 2.0Ghtz octacore processor even with a Snapdragon625 chipset.....tho pple re complaining they expected 660.....i no feel any lag at all.....its just fluid, super fast and dunno the word again for it.....
Its multitasking is awesome......with its 4Gig ram, multitasking is great......no need to be scared of running too many background apps cos she is capable....without closing any app for the other. Let me stop at that with its performance.

Now battery life......Hehehe.....power bank.....na im you carry for hand....i swear.....NO MATTER HOW HEAVY YOU USE THE BATTERY....YOU CANT KILL IT IN A DAY.......well maybe if you keep watching a 1080p full HD movie with the phone at the highest brightness constantly non stop for 23HRS.....cos thats how long it can take u for such a demanding task.
The battery optimization is sweet..... Snapdragon625 does a great job with battery saving especially if u aint using the phone at all....with only 1% drop after 4hrs standby with wifi and 7 apps runing in background.
Even gionee m5 and m6 wen tested with it couldnt stand its durability.
Another super thing is dat no matter what you do.THE BATTERY WOULD NOT JUST GO HOT!!!.....Trust me.....i have tried......she doesnt get hot at all....dunno how they did it....i swee it as awesome....not even when charging.
The phone is equipped with usb type c and supports fast charging even with its inbuilt charger and supports reversible charging. Fully charging the phone from 0-68% takes just one hour.... And takes 2hrs30mins for full charge.
Bettery does not get hot during charging at all.

The phones audio quality too is so awesome......with its dual speakers....at different ends giving u a digital surround imersive sound u can ever listen to on a device.....trust me on this....ud be wowed.lol....

Fingerprint sensor too is awesome....unlocks in split seconds with just a slight touch....nd very accurate....

I can go on and on and on.....but i must stop here.

I can never forget.

Its camera.....even tho they said its a 12MP camera.....it beats its predecessor that has the 16MP camera....and even beats the samsung galaxy s4 and eevn s5 with 13MP camera.....due to its new improved sony LR lens.....this is the same camera lens used in the xiaomi mi 6 and other high end phones.....the picture quality is just great....no lag.....autofocus is super fast....
With a very fast shutter time...so u cn capture a very fast moment as fast as u can.....
One issue i have wth the camera tho is the image stabilization....
But apart from that...she shoots super duper photos.....

Supports 4k recording too....and trust me....ud be wowed with the quality too....

Xiaomi never paid me to do this....neither did Elijahdre....i did it out of my own volition cos i looked for an extensive personal review like this by a nigerian on this phone before buying it....but couldnt get any....maybe because it was just launched few weeks ago.

what i can advise u is.....if u have the cash to.....please buy....YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT.

@op can i use your phone shots for review on my blog?

A part 3 student of Faculty of Pharmacy, Obafemi Awolowo University, Fatile Emmanuel lost his life yesterday.

We assembled that the agonizing episode happened yesterday at Hilton Hotel, Mayfair where late Emmanuel went to swim with two of his companions.

The source who addressed our correspondent in a telephone discussion said the deceased drown in the swimming pool of the inn because of inaccessibility of life jacket when the incident happened.

Baba Faros, the Public Relations Officer Pharmaceutical Association of Nigeria Students was cited saying: "I was called around 4:30pm yesterday by one Dr. Akinwale that my attention was urgently needed at the OAUTHC, on arriving there, I was advised to affirm Emmanuel's death before taking his body to the morgue. We left the hospital around 10:30pm the previous evening ", he said.

In the mean time, the columnist was told the policemen from Moore have captured the worker who is in charge of life jacket of the inn and the other two OAU students who went with the deceased to swim at the hotel.

"Currently, we are at Moore police headquarters to bail the other two students, there are bits of gossip that police announced the case as a murder case. The team will be grilled today," the source unveiled.

It is a ghenghen something

How much do you charge for handling

These guys are always trying to 'kill' upcoming business men

Bro, don't give yourself high bp cos of girls, try your best to stay faithful and be a gentleman while you guys are still courting, have it at the back of your mind that she's opened to many options since you're yet to officially put a ring on it. All you have to do is play your part and pray she'll stay faithful like some virtuous ladies until you both are officially pronounced man and wife.

Anyone with Redmi 4x screen protector link?

This dude is talented

whats the main point of this argument? How will knowing this strengthen thr naira against dollar?

I really don't get it, it's likely she's having no Ill intent towards the family, what's wrong with keeping people's pictures for reference? This is 2017 and all these diabolical bullcrap mentality should have been erased a long time ago. Have faith in whatever you believe in and you ain't gat no problems.
