Foreign Affairs › Re: US Army Using Lessons From Ukraine War To Aid Own Training by Opolopoopolonio: 11:07pm On Apr 17, 2022 |
AldrichAmes: This just shows you don’t understand warfare and your assumptions are based on information warfare in MSM. This is the biggest propaganda war in history and 80% of what is out there is pure propaganda.
UK, France and Germany would get battered against this Ukrainian army. UK got embarrassed during the Falkland war by Argentina who didn’t even send its professional army - it mostly sent conscripts due to being wary of invasion by Chile. Yet it sank 4 of the Royal Navy’s best ships and the war lasted 2months on a tiny Island. Germany currently doesn’t even have a proper military. And France is just living off colonial glory.
Admittedly, I did say Russia made 2 egregious mistakes:
1. It should have done more to prepare for information warfare and it left it too late.
2. It miscalculated from the beginning and thought Ukrainians would rather protect their country’s infrastructures than fight. And that’s understandable but Russian intelligence miscalculated how many hardened Nazis are in Ukrainian army and NATO’s influence in the country and their resolve to use the last Ukrainian as cannon fodder.
I don’t think most of you are aware that Ukrainian fighting forces outnumber Russians by 3:1. Despite that Ukrainians are yet to make any offensive and that shows how superior the Russians are. US forces outnumber Afghan farmers by 5:1, yet they couldn’t win in that country. The Russians started with shock and awe to blitz Ukrainians and make them surrender to protect their cities - with VDV landing near Kyiv. And since that didn’t work - they have reverted to war of attrition and are doing exceedingly fine by methodologically smashing the Ukrainian to bits.
Funnily enough, they’re not even fighting just Ukrainians - they’re also fighting NATO. Ukraine is littered with Special Forces from all NATO countries and their intelligence agencies including CIA and MI6.
Also, this is the minimal civilian casualties you would get in a war of attrition. America killed more 10x more civilians in Libya than Russia has killed in Ukraine. America killed 20x more civilians in Fallujah in Iraq alone than Russia has killed thus far. America doesn’t care about civilian live - they kill everything moving. And precision bomb is a ruse - you can never get perfect coordinates with bombs.
This is the biggest war since WW2 (Ukraine is the 2nd biggest country in Europe with the 2nd biggest military only 2nd to Russia in both cases). When you put it in that context - you’ll get a clearer picture. And Russia isn’t even fighting a full blown war with Ukraine - in a full blown war, it would have levelled Ukraine with its firepower. @bolded Nonsense talk! Russia would have levelled Ukraine at least to achieve all its initial objectives if it could. But it can't. The heavier the hand they raise, the stronger and fiercer the reaction they will get |

princeeze1: So be it. Let there be wanton destruction of everything in Ukraine. Properties, infrastructure, lives etc. Ukraine asked for it, so be it. Frozen Russian monies will be used to rebuild Ukraine in due time. The Russians will also suffer huge losses in the mean time even as their economy goes to waste. |

sunboy: Coward in a war? “All things are fair in love and war”… heard that quote?
What fighters jet? The ones that have for the most part been decimated? Abi they are hiding them underground? Oh you mean the ones he’s been asking the West to provide ?
There’s no action in real life, there’s only death in war, and maybe money. Shows Russia is frustrated. Bombing from the air doesn't achieve much other than wanton destruction of innocent lives, property and infrastructure. |

So this is how we have been deceived for so long by these reprobates of disinformation? Thank God for Russia Shut up! A general is a general whether brigadier or major. The most important thing is that a top Russian officer has been taken out. |

princeeze1: @ the bolded proves Russia is fighting a coalition of more than 20 countries who are using Ukraine as a proxy. Their proxy fighters are being captured daily currently. What does that tell you? The NATO game plan using Ukraine failed woefully. Russia knew very well the US would join the war later should they expend their modern military resource on Ukraine, reason they sent just 150k of their 900k troops. 2m man reserves yet uncalled, despite Ukraine getting a boost in manpower over 500k in foreign mercenaries masking as volunteers and billions of dollars in NATO armament, they have been roundly decimated. Russia just started war properly now, that’s why zelensky is jittery about abandoning talks should mauripol fall which is now inevitable. This war was simply NATO testing the waters using Ukraine, economic pressures, media pressures and international lobby, yet they failed woefully and Russia was wise enough to send their boys brigade with old armament knowing it’s not the main war. What a shame for the 30 nation blood sucking coalition. Nonsense talk! Russia has given up on ground battles with Ukraine because of the huge cost in all ramifications. They have now switched to cowardly aerial bombing and missile attacks. Let Ukraine get their own fighter jets and see action film. When is their Donbass operation commencing sef It's taking forever. |

Shame! |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russo-ukraine War Update by Opolopoopolonio: 12:20pm On Apr 17, 2022 |
Nonsense!!!
Many people don't even know where Mariupol is.
It was difficult defending Mariupol having been enmeshed in separatist regions in the far south of the country. It was easy for Russia to surround it and starve it of supplies.
And yet they have been able to stand for past few weeks.
Kudos to the brave fighters of Mariupol. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia Had Sent An Ultimatum To The Office Of The President Of Ukraine by Opolopoopolonio: 12:13pm On Apr 17, 2022 |
The last heroic fighters at Mariupol don't need Zelenskyy to tell them to surrender seeing the hopeless situation they are in. They would have done so if they so desired. But I think they have decided to die standing. Why are pro-Putin looooonatics so daft |

I doff my heart for the brave Ukrainian defenders of Mariupol who are set to hold out till the last man. Pro-Putin looooonatics should cover their faces in shame that after 7 weeks of Russian surrounding, besieging and invading Mariupol, it is still standing and resisting the invaders. This is a city enmeshed between 2 separatist regions o. |

searchng4love: Wrong absolutely. This war was inevitable. Russia has just that the playground is Ukraine. Moving over from Syria where US led NATO has been roundly defeated and Assad government remaining in power. Thus revealing the ultimate weakness of the US led NATO weaklings Trash! Assad has lost the Idlib province and the Christian parts of Syria. He can continue to rule over the remnants. US and other powers also have their areas in Syria where Assad has no sovereignty over... Assad is the loser... Courtesy of Ukraine, Russia has been demystified which is why Finland and Sweden are joining NATO in no time... And there is nothing Russia can do about it as their hands are seriously tied in Ukraine... Again, Russia is the loser here. You see why pro-Putin loooonatics are pathetic peeps |
