[s] princeeze1: You are not a man but a boy and it’s written all over your childish comments. Again you are not intelligent, because I clearly told you that western economies are capitalist in nature, meaning they are private driven, this should have answered your question of government interest in those private companies, but you don’t know of course. You don’t have shame to also admit that in thesame vain western cooperations assets worth more than 5 times the value of Russian assets are also gone and your almighty US cannot do a ratass about it lol. I know your emotions are hurt, but you cannot do anything about it. So live and deal with it. It is my 100% wish that they dare to forfeit those assets so Russia can have the moral justification to nationalize their FDI (foreign direct investments) and make far more fortunes for the fraction the west seized. When they say the US economy is worth 23trillion? Is it government money? Of course you don’t know. Let me help you, their economy is private driven. You should not be on NL, you should be reading your books. Lastly, throwing tantrums does not make you bright either, shouting from various threads calling people “pootin fans” proves how childish you are, because when your likes lack substance or merit in an argument, you jump to insults and name calling. [s] princeeze1: You are not intelligent. From all you have been writing its very obvious it’s emotional rant. Even the people you rant on their behalf do not agree with you and will never throw away far much for so little. You can wail all you like, but it’s already an own goal. Who cares what they will, you think Russia was stupid for restricting the outflow of their capital and assets? In the game of big players, it is called tit for tat! This is not Syria or Libya or Venezuela. You clearly are in lack of a superior argument and it hurts you so bad. They know very well if Russia goes ahead and nationalizes those assets, they become super wealthy because it’s investment from the western economy. But both sides will not tow that line. Why? Permanent forfeiture will undermine the western financial system and break trust in the dollar as a reserve currency with many nations switching trade to national or regional currencies thereby weakening the dollar. While nationalizing western assets and cash while making Russia very prosperous will undermine future investment in the country and have an effect on FDI( foreign direct investment). So stop wailing, you are not wiser than both parties, you are just hurt. Meanwhile, I don’t support war or killings and bloodshed. I am simply against hypocrisy. Just like how unstable you sound. No single principle in your assertions. [/s] After all your rants you refused to acknowledge the little or no interests Western governments have in private companies. What has it taken Shell, Mobil and co to leave Nigeria What have they lost in so doing If Nigeria had nationalised Shell, Mobil, Chevron and co how would that have affected Britain, US and France economically You are the one being emotional here. |

princeeze1: Emotional rant, you think they reason like you. Well! So be it. Let them take the $300b and leave their assets that is worth more than 5 times it’s value. It is a good bargain! But unfortunately, that’s not how it’s gonna play out because most of the multinational coys have clearly stated that their actions are temporary and they intend to return after the conflict. And let me bust your bubble, these coys are all still paying their staffs and meeting their contractual obligations and leases despite suspending operations, this was the reason Russia backtracked from nationalizing them. Western governments have little or no stake in their private companies. Their private companies are most times on their own. So it's not a factor in whether Russia's assets get confiscated permanently or not. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: You're Meant To Die Not To Defend Military Doctrine Nigeria Russia As Example by Opolopoopolonio: 3:53pm On Apr 18, 2022 |
princeeze1: You can’t be helped since English and comprehension is a problem. There is a difference between freeze and forfeiture. Freeze is subject to unfreeze, forfeiture is permanent. What they have done is freeze it to starve the regime cash to finance the war. I have also given you reason why they cannot be permanently forfeited. No western nation has been bold to claim that the reserves will be permanently forfeited because the loss to them would be monumental. What is so difficult for you to comprehend in this? You clearly lack superior argument, so just rest. Mind you, I don’t reply you because you wrote intelligently, I comment most times to keep people who read on the forum properly informed. One step at a time. Freeze first then confiscate with time. It depends on how things turn out in the short or long run. Russia will NEVER be able to meet the conditions for its frozen assets not to be permanently confiscated. And let me now clarify your doubts as regards western interests in Russia - they have been abandoned!!! Go and do your research!!! |

princeeze1: I have told you to stop being emotional. Okay they should go ahead and seize it na. Let their multinational cooperations lose more than $1trillion invested in Russia. So who then gained at the end from that your warped analysis. Someone seizes your #50, and you are with his #500? No matter how rich he is, it will never make logical or economic sense in anyway to him to seize yours when you hold far much more of his in your territory. Russia does not have much cooperations in the west, rather it was the west that went to Russia to invest because of their riches in resources. They invested in nearly all sectors of the economy from oil, gas, steel, commerce, consumer goods, chain stores, food, real estate, automobile etc. So it’s a lost cause. Mind you the frozen reserve is about $300b, private individual assets seized is less than $50b. In retrospect the collective value of 600 and still counting multinational cooperations is above $1trn. So they are free to go ahead and permanently seize it. Does that make you happy now? Seems like princeeze1 is smarter than the whole of US, UK, EU and other countries that have frozen Russia's assets indefinitely. Fantastic! |

That’s the reason why I don’t engage you warped illiterates that populate this forum - it’s always ad hominem, rather than post your idiocy. And it’s because most of you have no argument and extremely low IQ, apart from spouting nonsense propaganda.
You’re an idiot if you think an invasion of a country Ukraine’s size would last a week. NATO has been attacking countries countries that are a fraction of Ukraine’s size and fighting militias for decades now - which of the invasions lasted a week? This assertion is actually damning on idiots like you who parrot this nonsense because you have to think Russia is invincible and superior to NATO - to expect to run over a country like Ukraine within a week. Something NATO has NEVER achieved in its history against tiny 3rd world countries with no military.
LMAOOO at 8 Rus generals losing their lives when in the past 2wks - 4 of them have been in videos in Donbas. I guess Russian generals have 9 lives since they rise up every time they die, lol. These idiots just claim kills with no proofs whatsoever. But we do know a NATO US general from CENTCOM has been captured.
Give up on ground battles? You’re a shithead. Too bad your propaganda sources aren’t updating you on how Russia is crushing Ukrainian in the Donbas region while building squadrons to encircle them with. And about 9 brigades of Ukraine’s elite forces would soon be in a siege in Donbas (that’s almost 60k troops). Yes, your propaganda sources won’t tell you about the absolute beating Ukraine is taking because it doesn’t fit the propaganda narrative.
Tell US and NATO to intervene and get smashed to bits as well.

When you are done grunting, you will still come to terms with the following: 1. Volodymyr Zelensky is still the president of Ukraine. 2. Ukraine rather than getting de-militalized is getting armed more than ever so much that Zelenskyy is threatening to end talks with Russia should their remaining forces in Mariupol get annihilated. He has also said he is ready to take on Russia for the next 10 years. A demilitarized country doesn't boast that way. 3. The 'nazis' are very much on ground and in Mariupol where they have been besieged for the past 8 weeks they are still holding out, how much more Donbas 4. Whether you like it or not, 8 Russian generals and other top officers have died and the Kremlin have confirmed their deaths... 5. US rounded up their Iraq and Afghanistan invasion in less than a month. They were able to achieve regime change within the period. 6. France and UK toppled Ghaddaffi from the air while rebels moved on ground in a little more than a month... 7. The Moskva has sunk with many Russians on-board sinking with it. Abi that one is propaganda again Only pro-Putin loooooonatics depend on blogs and twitter accounts for the 'authentic, unbiased' news. Majority, if not all of their big cooperations will declare massive loses when Russia finally orders a forfeiture of capital and assets in tit for tat. They know this, reason it was called a “temporary freeze to stop Putin from funding his war of choice” as they put it. Temporary can turn to permanent. Ask the Taliban. Ask Syria. Foreign Affairs › Re: US Army Using Lessons From Ukraine War To Aid Own Training by Opolopoopolonio: 7:33am On Apr 18, 2022 |
AldrichAmes: Huge losses?
NATO propaganda =/= Reality
I’m yet to see 20 Russian soldiers killed at once throughout this war. But I have seen different piles of Ukrainian bodies in the hundreds in videos many times. Heck, I saw more videos of dead American soldiers during the Iraq war than I have seen of Russian soldiers during this war. And most of the dead Russians I’ve seen are the separatists and Russian military police - not Russian regular forces.
Even Pentagon said Russia is yet to use more than 10% of its firepower (they stepped it up a few days ago by using one of their bombers). If they decide to use their real firepower - there will be no Ukraine by the end of the week.
NATO is the biggest force in the world on paper but in actual combat - it’s yet to fight any country that can shoot back and yet to win a war since NATO is American war machine. So NATO knows its limits hence it’s scared of direct confrontations against Russia. And both Pentagon and NATO commanders have repeated this several times.
In a nuclear war - Rus just need to drop EMP on all NATO countries and let its ICMBs go. It will also take nuclear hits but it’s more prepared for nuclear bombs than any country in the world. Almost all Rus houses have bunkers that can protect against nuclear Armageddon.
LMAOOO at fighter jets. Ukraine had almost 150 fighter jets before the war. What happened to those is the fate of whatever jets NATO gives Ukr. To Pro-Putin looooonatics, any news that doesn't fit their chosen narrative is propaganda. A war that wasn't meant to last more than a week is taking months. Yet in the middle of it Russia have adjusted their objectives from removing Zelenskyy, de-militarizing Ukraine and de-nazifying the country to 'liberating' the Donbass region. Even the latest objective is taking forever to commence... They are still recovering from the nightmare of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Mariupol. If NATO were not helping Ukraine in the resistance, why did Russia have to wail hard in an official letter/memo to the US begging them to stop arming Ukraine as it is hindering peace talks Less than 2 weeks ago, Russia's foreign minister admitted that Russia has suffered huge losses in Ukraine. Pro-Putin looooonatics will never hear that one. What of the 8 generals and other top Russian officers - close to 20 of them that have lost their lives That one is propaganda too Have you observed that Russia has almost given up on ground battles with Ukraine Even taking out the brave Ukrainian forces still standing in Mariupol is such a nightmare for them that they are trying to use aerial power. Who takes a place from the skies Ukraine being on the defensive may not be able to use fighter jets OFTEN. But they have carried out a couple of cross border attacks successfully... Pro-Putin looooonatics are worse than Putin himself... |

The west has far more than what they froze invested in Russia. The companies that ceased or suspended operations over 600 now and counting, who owns them? What do you think will happen to their assets both liquid and material infrastructure? Do you realize Russia froze their funds to stop them from withdrawing capital out of Russia pending when all is resolved? Do you know the collective worth of over 600 multinational companies, with many majoring in oil, gas, steel? Only Bp is estimated at $25b. We are looking at more than $1trillion. So let them try. In retrospect, do you know Obama paid back $400b to Iran in frozen funds before jcpoa was signed? You think you can just take someone’s money and spend it? We shall see. This time around Russia's money is gone for good |

They’re just lucky Putin is lenient and still sees Ukr and Rus as brothers. If it were the Rus hardliners - they would’ve levelled Ukraine to the ground, lol.
Even Putin’s advisers are begging him to escalate.
And no one is going to do shit - NATO is scared of Rus. China is their main target. Rubbish! The only option Russia has left is nukes. Russia is now wary of ground battles with Ukraine as result of the huge losses they suffer. They have done their worst. NATO is scared of Russia Come on, NATO is even getting bolder in arming Ukraine seeing Russia's deficiencies and demystification over the past few weeks. Very soon, they will supply Ukraine with fighter jets... |
