OK. Been using the Tecno D5 for 2months now and here's my review.
Phone feels and looks great but internal memory is disappointing for heavy apps downloads.
Heats up within few mins of calls and that can be scary.
The volume is awful and almost totally useless. Outside the privacy of your room or any ultra quite place you can hardly hear through a call.
The answering method for calls is frustratingand you could end up losing a call trying to swipe to answer.
Forget the cam flash. its just a fancy little twinkle. Don't count on it for a good image.
It doesn't have a 3g but then thats nothing to worry about since we can hardly make out the diff between 2G and 3G from our carriers here.
Comes preinstalled with some pretty useful apps though and doesn't look or sound like chinko
But for 13K, don't be too greedy to expect the same spec as a Nokia Lumia
That's all
Hmmmm What a review. Pretty Cool for 13k. U're actually correct there

I av 35k for ur laptop. No more no less. If u are game, contact me through d phone number in my signature below. U can also add me on whatsapp. Thank U. I stay @UI Ibadan.

Well, Everyone is entitle to his/her opinion. But as for me, D5 ain't got wat I want as am an heavy downloader. Waiting for d Q1 though. Can't wait to get my hands on it. All in all, thanks to Tecno for a Cheaper World of Smartphones. Tecno is now proving extremely hazardious to d likes of Nokia, LG, Apple, Samsung.....

judajix: bro facebook app is slow on everyandroid apart from lte enabled ones

Well Understood Bro but the lack of 3g makes internet connectivity exceptionally slow on D5. U get me?

Got the Tecno D5 yesterday @14.5k and I must say dat d lack of 3g on dis smartphone is a big minus. Can't whatsapp smoothly, take ages to load pix on facebook.....and other countless disadvs. Planning to give my Kid-bro and return to my BB for now.

Hmmm...wat exactly is d fone's problem dat u are so desperate to let it go? Is d batry good and does it function well?...I think I mite buy it. Let's talk on 08102650213 or Whatsapp wif dat same number. Or beta still on bbm 30E9BD79.

judajix: the speed is faster. D cam is somewhat clearer nd defined although bad in d sun. Runs all d apps i have downloaded smoothly my only prblm is d low internal memory. Lest i forget it is 16m colors nd d ppi shld b up to 190

Please how does d internet connectivity fare? And can it multitask,2go and play HD Games well? Awaiting Ur Response. Thanks.

Anyone Using d Tecno D5 should Kindly come out with a Review of dis Fone. We need to know its performance against d N3. Thanks in Advance.

chidooh1: automatically, android is based on 3g network, what is actually the matter with tecno, these cheap scraps they are rolling out for african consumers are real insult

. ABSOLUTELY! Am starting to get pissed off with Tecno.....I mean, How many Tecno Android phones are already in d Market with virtually the Same Spec and Functions to offer?...And here they are releasing anoda CRAP! Irritating!!!

I actually got dat Spec from a man who promised to get a Tecno D5 for Me @d rate of 16,500 in Ikeja. I posted the Spec knowing that fellow Nairalanders will come out with d actual Spec.

Has Anyone Seen the New Tecno D5. It has the following Specs:
Android 4.0
1GB Ram
1800mAh battery
3.0 pixel Camera with Flash
Dual sim
2G + 3G
Front Camera
Wifi
Compatible with HD Games e.t.c
And it sells around 15-17thousand Naira
