You people are not listening, that is what a strategic business plan will cover and forego to cover. To deploy a business model you have to assess the risk and formulate if it is feasible? If it is feasible, does the risk over weigh the benefits?

Next, you ask yourself can strategic business plan develop earlier risk detection and apply a prevention strategy? In my earlier write ups, I mentioned a strategy called Critical Risk Analysis and Solution Strategy and Ownership and Legal Structure. An employee is more likely to work hard if his/her interest is protected whether financially or collective ownership.

My business plan will correlatively cover all aspect of employee rights and benefits including holidays, sick pay and pension and bonuses.

It will cover employee training and promotion and say in the company. These business models are what Africa businesses lack and that is why we hear all sorts of business issues.

Contact valentine.obih@ittcg.co.uk for further consultation.

My sister, forget about employee benefit, naijas are special people, greedy to the core. With all these provisions these guys will still play fast one on you.If Naijas working in oil companies with wonderful packages are doing it, then what package can you give drivers to prevent them from doing it.

My people, my father was an Oluwo Iledi Ogunbiyi in Ibadan, the conclave (Iledi) is beside Methodist Church close to Odutola Tyre in Oke Ado.I have been to the inner worship place of the Iledi.

Really, they talk strongly about morals and indeed they display real trust and love to each other, you see real display of trust and love among them those days.

They used to call me Kekere Awo then and because my father was the Oluwo, they gave me privilege of entering the worship place both in Iledi Ogunbiyi and West A Division Headquarter then at Yemetu Ibadan.

As a child I always look forward to meeting days, for me it was like feast, lots of food and drinks and a lot of gifts (money) as their supposed Kekere Awo.

My father took time to explain so many things about the society to me because he wanted me to join since all my senior ones refused to join and he wanted someone to join thought without any force. Some of the information given by babs747 were correct but not all.For example, I saw my Father's corpse intact before he was buried despite the fact that ROF had a vigil with the Corpse where we did lying in state a nite before his burial, so the cutting of the head is absolutely not correct, if they cut head I don't see them sparing the head of a man that was an Oluwo for more than 20 years.

I can bodly say that my father was never involved in any wicked or dirty thing while alive. He was a wonderful man that anybody will pray to have as a Father, but personally as a Christian, I do not believe I should have another god or bow down to another image other than the God Almighty. If you mention my Father's name to any member of the Society you will be amazed the reaction you'll get, that is to tell you that they want his children to be part of them but none of us is interested.

Despite all these, I will never advise anybody to join any Society that is not based on Christ.

I have already determined that for me and my household I will ONLY SERVE THE LORD !!!.

So I advise you that only God Almighty can save and therefore embrace Him and forget about joining ROF.Remember Ecclesiastes? ALL IS VANITY !!!

To be sincere, this babe deserves the award. She's good and natural and above she's very talented.
I've known her since 'I need to know years' and I can only say, she deserves it.

Maybe why most guys are complaining is because they don't watch yoruba films, but any of her films will confuse (convince ) you that she's good !.

I think she's good and should be celebrated !!!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Contract Job With Total (200k) Vs Masters In The Uk: Which Do U Prefer? by OpsE1: 5:11pm On Apr 05, 2009
My guy,
You need to ask yourself several questions, what are your values?, what are your long term goals like etc before you take any decision.

I can tell you as somebody that has worked as a Contract staff in one of the E&P companies, you will not get any fulfilment there, infact most people doing that kind of work are frustrated, just go back to Total and sample people's opinion. You have opportunity of positioning yourself for mega opportunities so why joining the League of the Frustrated People !!!

A masters in UK will open doors for you in any oil prod./servicing company.Even without experience, special preference is given to UK Masters holders. For example, in Shell if you have MSc in Oil& Gas related courses from Robert Gordon Univ.you are already several points ahead of others even without any experience, reason, the SITP is being handled by RGU and course content is close to RGU Master's courses. It's assumed that you've been exposed to what is needed by the company.
These companies go for annual aggressive recruitments for oversea grads.

Again, who says you must work in Nigeria, there are several companies recruiting guys for jobs in several fields around the world despite the recession and your degree will position you to compete for that.I know so many guys that got wonderful jobs after attending OTCs, Oil&Gas seminars/fairs where several companies scout for workers, and that's basically because of their external pali. You can even decide not to work and build yourself and become a Consultant in just one area, who says all consultants are experienced people.

I'll advise you to go for the Masters, anything can happen to your Dad at anytime and that is why you should use the opportunity now before the promise enter 'voice mail'.
Don't listen to people saying there are several UK Master grads without work, yes there are and there will always be but what is the %?.

My guy, go for Masters and you'll be amazed what will happen after.

GET READY TO BUY GBPUSD

The GBPUSD pair is currently trading inside a consolidated triangle pattern in the 30 minutes chart. Luckily for us, this type of triangle is an ascending one showing that the price of GBPUSD is going to move up once prices broke outside the triangle upwards. As a matter of fact, we hope to be buying this pair once prices broke outside this triangle from above. But if prices broke downwards, the signal is no more effective and we will forget about trading for now. You can set a buy stop order to buy above the current price at 1.4100. Take profit at 1.4200

Summary: place a buy stop order for GBPUSD at 1.4100 and set take profit at 1.4200. stoploss is -60 pips

HAPPY TRADING

Thanks. Keep it up

nokturnal:

I have read with interest the comments of everyone in this thread, first off let me say this; carfreak, I believe you can get your point(s) across without being abusive.

That said, based on the happenings in the international market I really don't think any Nigerian bank can claim to be safe or insulated from the global crisis.

What amazes me is why only Intercontinental bank? Why isn't this thread titled "Nigerian Banks have become useless" someone said "FBN still dey gidigba" the same FBN that wrote to its customers in February notifying them of an increase in rates on all it's existing loans (even leases) by about 6% effective February? Could it be due to their approaching year end in March 2009? I wonder, smells like a desperate quest to boost their income to me.

The same person said their charges are outrageous, do you bank with ZIB? They charge their customers N65 for withdrawing on their ATMs using cards issued by them. These charges have been in effect for almost 2yrs. Stanbic IBTC charges N50 for using their ATMs using their own cards as well. UBA does the same, likewise Access. One could go on and on naming the banks that charge for using their ATMs. I know of these charges because I bank with all the banks mentioned here. I'm also charged for using internet banking in various banks annually, including Intercontinental.

To me this whole thread smells like a smear campaign against Intercontinental Bank. Personally I agree with the person that said we should all think of the impact the failure of any of these banks will have on the Nigerian economy. believe me, it won't be pretty.

I will aggressively defend any bank that people attempt to run down for the mere reason that I have investments in most of them by way of either family, friends, fixed deposit, cash and shares. The drop in share price is bad enough so nobody should mess with my money any further! My eye dey red and my blood dey hot.

That's my 2kobo's worth on this matter. Nuff said.

Norktuna,
Where did you get the info on FBN loan? I have about 2.5m loan I'm servicing in FBN and there is nothing like that at all.

I wonder where people get these funny info in Nairaland.

Anyway if you can afford those funny charges that are freeelse where you can continue paying them. For anybody that can't, FBN is not charging a kobo on internet banking and Atm.I'll rather bank with FBN (strong and reliable) and enjoy some free services than bank with Intercontinental and pay some funny charges.
We are free to decide what we want.
Business / Re: Intercontinental Bank Has Become Useless by OpsE1: 4:29pm On Mar 13, 2009
Leave this matter.I What I know is that I cannot cope with the outrageous charges of this bank and therefore I am closing my account.
If some guys have extra change to waste on internet banking charge and atm which I can get free of charge from FBN, then they can wait. As for me I am withdrawing my little coins there.

I think as old as I am I should me able to use my head to think and not allow anybody here to think for me.My own thinking is that there is no fire without smoke.

Forget about ordinary workers in the bank, Management in any company is privy to some information that may not be known to all staff, that is not even my problem, mine is I can't cope with the outrageous charges, FBN still dey gidigba.
Business / Re: Intercontinental Bank Has Become Useless by OpsE1: 12:37pm On Mar 12, 2009
This same bank messed their customers up last week. For good 3 days the network was down and people couldn't make any transaction. My brother went through hell before he could withdraw the 10k I paid into his account and immediately after fixing the problem they came up with this 10k minimum deposit.Something is definately wrong with this bank.
My people it will be painful to loose any money one has struggle to make to these corporate criminals, so a word is enough for the wise if you have big money there go withdraw am o.
Business / Re: Intercontinental Bank Plc, This Is A Fraud by OpsE1: 10:15pm On Mar 08, 2009
I'm really surprise at the behaviour of the bank recently.
They recently sent a text that minimum deposit for the savings account is now 10k and that everybody having less than 10k in his account should increase it to 10k before Marc 31st, however the text did not say anything about the consequence of failing to do so.
I really observed some inconsistencies in the bank's behaviour recently and I'm sure there is more to it than what we know.
I advise all man to be vigilant, forget about Soludo's assurance anything can happen.Na my own I talk o.

Kizzymack, tahnks for your intervention. It is obvious that these guys are not vast in this business but claiming to be and misleading and misdisrecting innocent and gullible people.
This Nairaland is where you'll see highest collection of confusionists and 419ners, if they are not selling useless e-book they are scheming to dupe you.It is irritating to see that these people of questionable characters are spoiling this wonderful initiative of our dear Seun.
Well, God will help Naija.
