Upon leaving the Tribunal, he should call a press conference and tell Nigerians he is stepping down as Senate President, not because he is guilty of the charges against him but in order to protect the sanctity of his office. That will bring him back from the dead instantly. I wait!

This man has no shame. Come to think of it, Nigeria's leadership has come a long way from the days of Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Tafawa Balewa and their contemporaries. We are told of true men like Fajuyi who died on a principle, choosing death over cowardice. He could have used his pedestal to lift the weary in this country, yet all he ever touched took a toll on his fellow man. Be it the rape of lives' savings at Soceite Generale, through to the plunder of Kwara's treasury to the underhanded usurping of a party that aided his rise to the senate.
