Dr,pls help me interpte dis scan, its serial follicular monitoring scan. Done on cd 13, right ovarian follicle is 50mm,left ovarian follicle is 1,7,uterus is 37 mm AP, 37mm TS, 83 mm LS. Endometrium is ovaries L: 23*23*41 mm. Pls am TTC.

Orente, BMI is your weight (in kilograms) over your height squared (in centimeters). . if u aretrying to concieve best bmi rangeis 24- 30.
I was worried when i read u were using clomid without doctor's monitoring . abeg o . if u are on clomid ensure a doctor is supervising.

I doubt if that's what she means, what she's trying to say is that you shouldn't get too bothered since its normal to one year. According to medical literature, it can take healthy couples up to 1year to conceive and as a rule of thumb especially in western countries Drs dont treat young couples except they clock one year ttc or older couples (I think btwn 30 -35yrs upwards) when they clock 6months ttc. But that one no be for 9ja. Even if you've ttc for just 3 cycles, a gynae will still see you and check you out but will admonish you for being too hasty. To be proactive in Nigeria here, what people (including me, that's what I did) usually do is to go to a lab and get pelvic scan and Fertility tests done on their own and if any abnormality is spotted, they then look for and visit a gynae.

To be proactive is not bad, just don't stress as stress affects the body and conception.

@orente. Don't be too apprehensive. Worrying can cause delay too. Are u having sex a least 3times a week. Are u off carbonated drink. Is ur bmi ok (24-30). are u n ur spouse on a high protein diet. How about fruits and vegetables. Those are the immediate questions u should ask your self. If u can answer yes to this questions, u are doing great already. If not it is time to readjust. I pray sincerely before u clock one yr u will have ur BFP

From ur posts u are both under 30hence still in d optimal child producing years. Doctors advise one year of frequent sexual intercourse before appearing in d clinic. In the mean time, work on ur diet. Cut carbonated drinks, reduce carbohydrates . Increase ur proteins, fruits, vegetables. If u are overweight try to lose weight thru exercise n dieting . keep stress away from u that includes thinking.. Above all be prayerful . Soon we shall hear ur testimonies . All d best

EDD was 10th February 2016.
My TWINS came on their EDD. Percentage of babies that come on their EDD is 5%.

December 2015, I was having on and off contractions, sometimes it feels as if I'm going to pop but for where my babies didn't show December. I hoped for January delivery too but for where?
Feb 8th early mor mor while I was urinating inside the plastic for urine test at the hospital, I wiped with my hand and felt a thick like thing, waved it off and cleaned up. While going for anti-natal the same day, I started feeling mild ache at the left side of my stomach, stayed through the anti-natal clinic and decided to see the doctor. When the doctor saw me, he was like madam you're in labor, go and meet the matron to test you. Shuo, I smiled, just like that? I'm not in labor jooor, how can I be in labor and not feel any thing. OK so I saw the matron, she tested me and said I'm 3cm dilated "you're admitted madam, call home and tell them to bring your baby things" I lied i don't have anyone to call at home that I'll go bring my things And be back. I got home, told my mom, placed my bag inside the car and decided to stay till labor intensify bit for where? Na so I chilled throughout Monday Feb 8th, no show. I told mum I'll go in on Tuesday to get my card so they don't lose it as you won't be attended to if it's not found. DH came around and was with us throughout the day Tuesday Feb 9th. I didn't want to tell him because he's the type that can't keep such news to himself and I don't want to cast myself. Few minutes after 6pm that DH left, I told My mom let's go to the hospital, I'll get My card and we'll be back home. On getting to the hospital, I saw my DH 's elder brother's wife and I muttered see me running from casting finally casted. I went in, was checked and I was told 4cm. The nurses were like wow 4cm and you're not feeling any pains and I said yes. I was Sha admitted by force around 7pm. I called DH told him what's up and he came down to the hospital, bought me food which I consumed rush rush and I asked him to get more so I can prepare for the task ahead. I started walking around the hospital with DH till he left at 11pm. The nurses were even telling me to save my strength and be on the bed, for where I didn't listen. Throughout the night of 9th/10th I was just walking around the hospital and making updates here as I couldn't sleep.
Wednesday 10th February, the sleep I couldn't sleep the previous night then catch up with me and I started feeling real sleepy just that by then the contractions were now strong, I just kept to my Bed and breath in and out when they come. DH brought food, I couldn't eat, my mum also went home to prepare cat fish pepper soup and left me with SIL who also left for home (their mind dey at rest as I no dey shout). I was just there on the bed until few minutes after 1pm I started feeling the urge to push. The feeling was really strong I called to the matron *matron, I feel like pushing* she put on her gloves, came to my bed side, looked how Calm I am, she then changed her mind and said she'll go and call the doctor to check me as she doesn't want to check and the doctor will have to check again (for her mind strong contractions never catch me as I no dey shout.. Lol). When the doctor came and checked me, he said madam you're fully dilated try and get up and walk to the delivery room, that's how rush rush started, they packed my babies things and asked one of the ward assistant to help walk me to the delivery room.
At the delivery room, the doctor broke my water and I was asked by the matron to push at the next contraction, two pushes and my Prince came out weighing 2.5kg at 1:40pm. My Princess came with her leg first, the matron held her legs and pulled her and she got stuck at the head because she was raising her two hands up, the matron tried pushing her back in, no way, pulled her out, no way, she was stuck. Someone ran to call the doctor and I started shouting and praying (Kehinde come out in Jesus Name....). The doctor came and started turning her, he turned and turned and I was just there pushing even though I knew the pushes were not doing anything I kept doing it and praying. When she finally came out, thick blood clot were all over her, and she was as black as black, the matron quickly asked for the generator to be put on so she can use electronic mucus extractor, she then changed her mind and started using the one I bought and I started praying out loud (Kehinde please cry in Jesus Name... ) after a while I heard a faint cry, she was then put inside a machine for a few minutes (dunno the name) but I know it a warmer cos the doctor put his hand to test the degree of hotness that's how my Princess was saved, she weighs 3.2kg and birth time was 2:00pm.
It ended in praise. God used the doctor, nurses and even cleaners on duty for me. Twin birth via VD, no tears, we were discharged the next day and my Prince and Princess are alive and healthy.

To all bumping mamas, it will end in praise for you all. To the ATC mamas, received the anointing of twins and triplets in Jesus Name This year is your year. And we the Vigilante Mums, may God keep giving us the strength to carry on, may God protection be over our LOs in Jesus Name. Amen.

I'll answer buttoms-up

Abddominal cramps and sore nipples, its a normal experience which is usually caused by sexual needs(look up 'pink balls' if its fits your complaint) and hormonal changes respectively. With clomid, there's a higher chance you ovulated.

Temperature hike? Wouldn't place too much emphasis on that.

Stretchy CM? I say this with no tongue in cheek, you have to pump the brakes on the research. Sometimes less is more. And your anxiety would feed off your uncertainty or skepticism.

Spinnbarkeit is what you are trying to describe and its also one of the qualities we look for in CM. Its not the sole determinant of a Healthy CM. From your above description I can tell you your CM is ok.

There's a common misconception about the correlation between folic acid and pregnancy. Our concern with folic acid is more fetus centered than mother. It has no direct role in conception rather it prevents spinal cord abnormalities(spinal dysraphism) in fetuses.

Do you have regular periods? What's your normal cycle like?

Should you be worried? No. Clomid is notorious for giving a failure impression but it should be given a chance, even upto 3 cycles after commencement. It has a high success rate. Believe in your doctor, ok?
