Yeah, we can do total revolution, and take over the country, and return fuel to N50 a liter....and by the time we are facing the massive budget deficit and debt five years later from cheap fuel, on top of other matters, we would wake up and remove subsidy....for good.

What of partial removal?

The ripple effect of this total removal will be massive

Don't rev your engine above 2000 - 2500 rpm max.

Don't accelerate aggressively

Coast a lot and don't brake excessively

Use your AC to avoid wind drag

All these will give you 10% mileage increase.

At most....

It's not easy bro, please stay strong

This is not feasible.

It won't work.

By the time Lagos to Abuja is 25,000-30,000, I will see what will remain of the economy.
Politics / Re: Subsidy Removal: Fuelling Your Car by Originakalokalo(m): 5:09pm On May 31, 2023
Movement of people and services will be super expensive.

How much is Lagos to Abuja now,

In days to come, how much will it be?

Economy will shut down when people are not moving...

OP, they will come to tell you how subsidy is enriching the rich,

They will come to tell you how the poor is not benefiting anything from government subsidising petrol

They will come to tell you so many uncoordinated things to justify this thoughtless decision by Tinubu

How can we survive this?

Can I afford to pay this amount for full tank?

Am I going to park the car?

Total revolution.

Hmmm.
Politics / Subsidy Removal: Fuelling Your Car by Originakalokalo(m): 4:52pm On May 31, 2023
Let's start straight away.

I spent 12,000 to fill my tank last week.

Now, I will spend 34,000.

The car is Honda Accord 2007.

What are the tips to survive this insensitivity?

Tell us your tank capacity and how you plan to survive this hike.

Can the government just leave this subsidy for the masses sake and go after those stealing our oil?

Can the government just do partial removal of subsidy instead of total?

Meaningful contributions please.

Mine was the exact same thing. It happens at red lights and I was very quick to throw the gear in Neutral when at a red light especially when I have a passenger.

The coil did infact solve mine.

Did you just clean the coil? what did you use to clean it?

Thanks for your response.

Politics is a game of number and calculations.

See this:

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
¹⁵ And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
¹⁶ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Understood? This is not an appeal.

It is a decree.

Tick tock. Your time is ticking.

Politics / Re: Swear You Didn’t Steal Public Funds, El-rufai Tackles Kaduna Ex-govs by Originakalokalo(m): 7:16am On May 22, 2023

… says, ‘I can swear, I didn’t steal’

The outgoing Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai has pointedly told the former governors in the state to swear with the Holy Qur’an that they did not steal public funds while in office.

El-rufai stirred the hornet’s nest in his valedictory media chat on the Hausa Service of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC).

According to El-rufai, one of the former governors built a mansion on Jabi Road, Kaduna GRA, allegedly with stolen money.

He said, “Let the past governors face the people of Kaduna State and swear with the Holy Qur’an that they never stole from the government coffers. I can swear I never stole a Kobo from the government coffers.

“I am happy with what we have seen. The work we have started and the quality of the works, we are going to spend years enjoying them,” he said.

It will be a great reverse psychology for him to actually stole and yet ask others to swear.

He didn't swear did he?
