As I said earlier,if you're a true christian then you have no qualms, but what about those lost in the darkness of this world?..All human race comes from the lineage of Noah's sons, because of the bad thing one did his son Canaan and his descendants were cursed while the other two and their descendants were blessed.now look at the black race as a whole, starting from Africa,we have everything but nothing good comes out.if the blessed Caucasians don't show us what to do and exploit us we don't act.even a little country in western lands without any good natural resources does excellently better than an endowed country in africa.see the blacks, anywhere they are they're always begging to be relevant,is it in Brazil?India? America and Europe or in the south Americas? I look and look and ask, what has the blacks ever done independently to improve the cause of humanity? None!!! We only wait for the whites to do and we be benefit. The whole of Africa can feed itself, cloth itself and be self sufficient,oh but no,the whites must help us for us to live,we run away from home to where ever the white man has made liveable for himself..so till they kingdom when that curse will be lifted,,,the black man in general will always be like this, the whites moves 10 miles and we only move an inch...Mind you,as a Christian you're free,,but I pity the ignorant. Brendaniel: I don't dwell in any curse and I'm blessed richly on every side in Jesus name, amen, are you trying to say the whites who are not Christians are not cursed but the Africans who are not Christians are cursed? |

True, but Nigeria gained far more than what it lost under his administration, was it debt clearance, was it excess crude oil savings, was it external reserves, was it security, was it economic stability and so on?
I remember during his time when America went to war in Iraq and there was a global recession that period, Nigeria was one of the few countries in the world that didn't really feel it, our family friend then in the U.S were telling us how the recession had affected them badly, I watched on CNN then how some Europeans were burning their ceritficates in public protests because of wages and jobs.
Can you say the same about APC, Buhari and Tinubu? He is not a saint but please give him his credits.
You had to insult the whole of west Africa just to justify the rubbish the leaders you support are doing in power...
To prove that what you wrote is mostly filled with lies, how come the same west Africans travel to foreign countries even the world powers and outdo them performing excellently better than those that are citizens of those countries?
Is it education, music, tech and so on even on menial jobs?
Just look at the way you think, other countries are busy praising our mental prowess, thinking and working ability, here you are talking down on your own people just to justify nonsense leadership supported by people like you..
People like you are the ones joining to keep Africa the way it is, when you will see the truth and support lies and evil |

No..Gen 2:7 you were no where before God formed u and gave u the breath of life which animates the body, and at death you simply ceases to exist or go back to that same state of none existence,,and hence the Bible call it spirit in some parts of the Bible,,,At death Eccl 12:7 say simply put, that the body returns to the dust where God formed u from, and the spirit(or breath of life) which God gave u will return to him, it didn't say it will go else where to continue living, it will simply return to God who gave it to u as a free gift.. meaning any hope of a future life for u lies in God's hands, so how u n I use the life God gave us now determines whether we'll get eternal life or eternal destruction in the future. Electrochemistry: Ecclesiastes 12:7—“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it”
The physical body dies but the spiritual body, the heart, lives forever. At the point of death the spirit leaves the body and goes to the God, the spirit world where it continues to exist as a spirit.
Genesis 2:7-- "then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being"
God created man to live forever on earth but man ate the forbidden fruit and became a living soul. At that point the human spirit became evil and can no longer sustain the body to live forever again but God quickly fixed this for us when He sent His only begotten Son to die for so as to redeem and sanctify our hearts.
When God created man he used two substances: the dust which was from the earth and His spirit which is eternal. The spirit is from God and can never die since God Himself can never die. You're only temporarily away from the body but present with the Lord.
When the trumpet sounds, God will rebuild your physical body then your spirit will reunite with a new body and you will live forever with a body that can no longer die. |

Christianity Etc › Re: What Does Heaven Look Like? by oroje1(m): 5:23pm On Jul 07, 2024 |
Electrochemistry: One fundamental and recurring pattern observable in our universe is evolution. As smaller dwarf stars evolve into giant stars so do living things evolve from unicellular microorganisms into multicellular organisms.
When we observe closely we will suspect a graduation from none living things characterized by inability to maintain their bulkness to living things that are able to maintain their bulkness against forces of degradation. The presence of ammonium radicals in water signals the beginning of life form. Then virus which is regarded as the link between the living and the non living things.
The most complicated and sophisticated level of organizations is found in mammals of which homo sapiens is leading.
Now the major difference between homo sapiens and other higher mammals such as Chimpanzees, Orangutans, is intellect, i.e. ability to reason and acquire knowledge. This makes man the most evolved species in the world.
Now why is man so advanced and so distinct from other lifeforms? Because man has something that's not present in other lives.
Man is a tripartite being composed of the body, the soul and the spirit. The spirit of man is eternal. This means that whoever is born into this world is in the thrills of eternity because it can never die.
When a man dies his body decomposes like other animals but his soul and his spirit which we call the heart continues to live in the spirit world.
Now the idea of evolution continues in the spirit world. In the spirit world, the idea of evolution takes another form, you evolve not based on your level of organization but based on the content or the integrity of your heart.
The license to evolution in the spirit world is love. So the hearts that are full of love in it go to the higher heavens. those without love in it have to evolve before moving on to the higher heavens.
The concept of love was first mentioned and emphasized by Jesus Christ. He taught us about love so that we we can have the licence to highest heavens. a By highest heavens I mean the dwelling place of the divinity, the saints, the Seraphins, the Cherubins, the holy angels, and the Thrones.
This is where the most evolved lives live; God Himself being the perfect form of all imperfections.
Now in heavens there are angels with different hierarchies.
one Angels
There are invisible beings with almost every perfection possible, who are always around us, who massively outnumber us, and who definitely outthink us! I’m not talking about aliens. I’m talking about Angels and Demons.
We learn from Scripture, Tradition and the official teaching of the Church that each angel is a person with intelligence and freedom. They are immortal creatures who are pure spirits possessing no physical body yet surpass in perfection all visible creatures.
In her diary St Faustyna writes of a profound experience with an angel: (630) Then I saw one of the seven spirits near me, radiant as at other times, under a form of light. I constantly saw him beside me when I was riding on the train. I saw an angel standing on every church we passed, but surrounded by a light which was paler than that of the spirit who was accompanying me on the journey, and each of these spirits who were guarding the churches bowed his head to the spirit who was near me.
When I entered the convent gate at Warsaw, the spirit disappeared. I thanked God for His goodness, that He gives us angels for companions. Oh, how little people reflect on the fact that they always have beside them such a guest, and at the same time a witness to everything! Remember, sinners, that you likewise have a witness to all your deeds.
two There are three levels or hierarchies of angels and three groups within each hierarchy – making nine categories or choirs of angels
1. The Seraphim, the Cherubim, and the Thrones.
2. The Dominions, Virtues, and Powers.
3. The Principalities, the Archangels, and the Angels.
The mission of the first and highest hierarchy of angels, the Seraphim, the Cherubim, and the Thrones is to contemplate the infinite goodness of God and the proper goal of all things. The Seraphim communicate the love of God, the Cherubim communicate the truth of God, and The Thrones communicate the purpose of all things to the next hierarchy of angels.
The Angels closest to God are the Seraphim. Their name means “the burning ones” or “the Angels of Fire” because God is a consuming fire of love. The Seraphim are set on fire by the love of God which they communicate to the others. Isaiah Chapter 6 describes the Seraphim: I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and his train filled the temple. Above him stood the seraphim; each had six wings: with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory.”
We literally join the Seraphim in their hymn of praise in each Mass right before the consecration of the Eucharist because we are entering the presence of Almighty God with them.
The Cherubim excel in their knowledge of God. St. Thomas Aquinas speculated that Lucifer was probably a Cherub rather than a Seraph, since the burning love of Seraphim is opposite to pride, whereas great knowledge of truth, which the Cherubim possess, can more easily lead to pride.
three The second hierarchy of Angels is the Dominions, Virtues, and Powers
Their mission is to govern the material world, control the elements, the seasons, the stars, even the sun and moon – in short, all aspects of nature.
The idea of the Angels controlling the turning of the seasons or the rotation of the planets may sound farfetched to some, but keep in mind what we can call the “more the merrier principle” with His Church. The more God gets his creatures involved in His divine actions, the more his creatures are made holy, and the more God is given glory. Whenever free creatures use their freedom to cooperate with God in the fulfillment of his divine plan, it is both pleasing to God and a grace for the creature.
Every parent knows it is more satisfying when the child cleans his or her room on their own, even though the parent certainly can do the cleaning by their own efforts. The same is true for God. He could put forth all the efforts necessary for the governing of creation on His own and by His own power, but it gives him more glory when his angels cooperate in the fulfillment of God’s will.
For this reason, St. Thomas nicknamed the Angels, “God’s secondary causes” because God chooses to do all possible in his creation through the intercession of His Angels.
four The third or lowest hierarchy of Angels is the Principalities, Archangels, and Guardian Angels
They have a three-fold mission:
I. To defend us against Satan and the demons – as St. Michael does.
II. To help us know the will of God – as Gabriel does when announcing God’s plan to Mary and telling Joseph to take Mary as his wife and to escape when Herod tries to kill the baby Jesus.
III. To heal us – as St. Raphael does
The Principalities, as the “spiritual generals,” have the greatest authority of this lowest hierarchy in carrying out God’s plan during the spiritual warfare for souls that takes place each and every day of our life on earth.
The Archangels are leaders and messengers of great importance in the world of man.
These Angels preside over a multitude of peoples and also deliver the most important messages to humanity.
The last group of Angels are the Guardian Angels.
The Catechism teaches that from its beginning until death, every human person is surrounded by the watchful care and intercession of a Guardian Angel.
"Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life."
I wonder if my Guardian Angel would be willing, in the evening, to review my day with me?
five We are making a big mistake if we live as if angels do not exist
Dr. Mark Miravalle, in his book Time to Meet the Angels, shares in the insights of a mystic who relates what Jesus wants us to know about the Angels
My children, there is so much talk of the enemy and the enemy is so glorified in your world, that many souls forget that heaven is far and away more powerful than the pitiful band of bitter ones who serve darkness. These want only your misery. Conversely, the unlimited number of good and holy servants, want only your joy and safety. But your prayers are necessary to mobilize all of this power. In these times, many souls spend time with darkness through their activities and recreation. In doing so, souls are inviting the enemy’s companionship. If souls do not invite our companionship, through prayers and requests, we do not force ourselves. So surround yourself with all that is Light and the enemy will avoid you. Ask for an honor guard of My angels and you will be enveloped in powerful beings from heaven who will insure that you complete your missions in safety. Children, you are God’s little creatures. You will not be abandoned. If man has an immortal soul, Then what's your understanding of of Gen,. 2:7 and Eccl. 12:7? |
