i bought this phone thinking it is android phone only to discover it is using YunOS a rival software. I have issues with the fact that i can't use google play store apps. the phone was promoted as having 2g ram but it's not fast for that. worse of all is the chinese language that prompts in many apps after language has been change to english. So far, only camera and battery are great with this phone. Any info on how i can use this phone will be appreciated ...

It's an android. Just that it has YunOS UI and modules that have disallowed flashable zipped apps to be installed. Install UC Browser for english. Download 1Mobile app and install on your device. The current YunOS does not allow rooting. If rooting is allowed, you can remove all the useless chinese apps. What if I told you that the phone has 32gb internal, would you believe?

Its android Os, I've not really had time to run down the phone but one of my sales reps uses one and no issue at all, I was surprised when one of my customer to be in Lagos said he's calling off the deal because it'd yun os. I assured him but he wouldn't like to experiment I had to let him be until he's convinced. I've had official visits by the company. The phone is awesome and a giant slayer.

Infinix note 2 2gb ram version is just better than Tecno L8, Tecno L8 plus struggled to measure up to Infinix note 2. The only pros tecno L8 & L8 plus had over infinix note 2 remains the battery and the metallic casing, Infinix note 2 slammed it home when you consider camera, ability to charge up easily, size & likely updates.
Infinix zero 3 remains a beast of burden thus its price. You must make do with its lighter battery capacity as compared with the other two. If you wish to go all out for a phone you could manage zero 3, consider l8 plus if your particulate with size and note 2 as the big deal.
Calm your nerves on gionee and spare parts ish, new phones comes with warranty and I've gotten companies (Samsung, Nokia, Tecno, Infinix, itel, gionee, wiko) to respect that.
I think we could deal if you're in the East.

If it's 50k or less I must say its reasonable

L8 plus is as good as its battery but note is on a different level altogether, everything will eventually boil down to choice. If you'd like it the big way go for note 2 else settle with l8 plus.
