Please can someone answer this question..... Why don't VO gives visa to PGD or PGC. If they know there is no way, it should just be stated instead of making someone waste time..
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by osento(m): 1:37am On Nov 17, 2017
Mine was PGD too. Refused based on those reasons too..PGD hardly fly.. I will advise you let them know your reason for applying fr PGD instead of MSC,
that's what I intend doing next, anything is still possible.

I commented on your quote the other time, now your GCMS note says it all...I told you that 4.6m was a lump sum..pay your full tuition fees, add the passport page of your Kenya visa, deposits your living expenses in your Dom acct, and write a fantastic SOP..finally pray the will of GOD to be done....happy sunday[qquote author=tommee post=62303348]
Hello people,

I was denied based only on financial reasons, the V.O stated in GCMS note that he noticed a lump sum. I initially paid half a year of my tuition, but after my denial, i proceeded to pay the full 1 year tuition and trying to reapply. Would it be right if i include my previous visa to kenya in my old passport as i did not include it before and the V.O did not mention i have not travel out before, i only included my wife travel history to the UK and mum to. And apart from explaining the lump sum and paying full one year tuition fees how else can i prove my financial capabilities to the V.O

Please note my study duration is 16 months

Try changing this proposed course, civil and environmental engineering ,go for something more direct and very well related to you first degree ,give VO a straight forward thought on your proposed course of study ,and finally use your SOP to marry your proposed course to your job prospect...just make everything related.. I guess that's the reason for purpose of visit. My own opinion .

Sorry about the delay, the issue of your sponsor was a bit complicated, your tuition is already taken care of with the RA, you should have emphasized that and just add a letter of support from your mum that will take care of you accommodation and maintenance. It is normal for a mother to commit bulk of her gratuity to sponsor her child to study abroad. sometimes when things are complex and not very clear, they take it that their is no real sponsor. repackage immediately, thank God they did not hold on to your application for long.

What was your proposed course of study??[quoqte author=Riddler32 post=62134511]Hi Ladies and Gents,

Good Day.

I got admitted to Lambort College for PGD September entry, tuition fees paid but was denied visa from Canadian Embassy. I researched, crossed my t's and dotted the i's, fasted and prayed with my family and at the end my visa application was rejected on the following grounds:

1. Travel history (a virgin passport)
2. Purpose of visit (i did a professional job in writing the statement)

I got discouraged and looked for other countries to get a degree. However, my elder brother is of the opinion that i should re-apply since i wasn't denied based on finance.

I put in the application on the 19th August 2017

Please house how do i get this trashed out (2 aforementioned points). I kindly await a quick respond.

Regards.[/quote]
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by osento(m): 11:04pm On Nov 05, 2017
First of all, purpose of visit not cleared... You have to go a long way explaining to the VO..and what I see its really dicy...
maziude:
Boss,

We cannot tell you to proceed neither can we tell you not to.

All we can say is put up a good application, pray and hope that VO sees things your way.

Having a start up company ain't a guarantee that you would return to Nigeria(from the VO's point of view), until you can assure the VO that spending all that money for a business management and entrepreneurship diploma in Canada (when that same programme exists in Nigeria) will help you, getting a TRV might be difficult.

You could have just applied for Masters in Engineering Management (this covers both the diploma you are going for and to some extent the MBA)....

The decision is yours though...

Good luck...

Hello house. ..I want to ask, can someone use from the SOA submittedhuh?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by osento(m): 2:45pm On Nov 04, 2017
My kindy opinion, try paying the full tuition fees, and get your 10,000CAD deposited in your account or Dom account, avoid lump sum (just avoid it,instead of trying to make VO understand the reason for that) like I said earlier, millions of people are clamoring for a limited approval space.try make your application simple, straight and unquestionable ...wish you the best.. Your next application will be approved... GOD BLESS
tommee:
Bro i appreciate your comments so far and your opinion but for the sake of beginners reading this, its good to clarify and state that lump sum is not against the rule especially if you cannot help it. All you have to do is provide evidence which i did and the v.o omitted it. Please read my transcript well i stated that after the lump sum in july i paid tuition out of it in august and sponsor also transfered living expenses to close at 7.8mill. its fine to criticize the application because it was not approved which is really what i am looking forward to but when you do it please do it constructively because of other readers. someone i actually said the v.os are not mind reader i should pointed out every suspicious from beginning of the app to end which i see as a fact i hope this answers.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by osento(m): 10:49am On Nov 04, 2017
What I mean by that was, for the 6minths SOA such a high inflow was not recorded, and just 1month to submission of application ,you had an inflow of 4.6m and he submitted 7.8m. To me I won't pull such stunt,
you simply gave the VO more attention to your SOA.. To me its really questionable... And u going ahead to clarify it, it shows a sign of something is fishy ... Start building your account prior to the 6months showing steady inflow and outflow.. To me that lump sum messed up the whole process.
Sharles:
How can one see the 4.6m inflow when the payment comes yearly and you any use 6month statement of account.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by osento(m): 6:43am On Nov 04, 2017
Instead of having a lump sum and looking for way to justify it or clarify it to the VO mentioning it on SOP and LOE ,why don't you avoid such lump sum, when you know very well how this people review document,
the are over millions of people applying for a little space,so bro come up with an unquestionable application and don't give the VO and loop hole to check..thanks ...I hardly comment here, I js dey observe but this was also my case, that is what got my attention to talk here.have a nice weekend.
osento:
Bro such an in flow has not been noticedbin the history of that account, suddenly a huge inflow of 4.6m just paid in a month, that was the VO point of attraction...he never noticed such huge in flow in that account for previous month, that was what raised a red flag.. That is what I think...thanks.

Personally I don't see anything wrong in a yearly rental of 4.6 million to come in within a span of a month before applying.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by osento(m): 10:02pm On Nov 03, 2017
4.6 mll inflow from a building in a month, bro this VOs are not kids, the VO simply knew you tried building you account because of the visa application, that's why I think he said lump sum.in a month such an inflow. To me its questionable ...just my succession ...tnx

Hello Gurus,

Good Evening,My 1 year tuition is 15,445CAD for a 2year PGD intended study i was delayed 30th of last month for with all financial boxes ticked so i applied immediately for my GCMS note. After seeing the notes i think my case is a clear example of V.Os not checking all documents submitted please i really need your input and advise because i want reapply immediately. Apart from paying the tuition fee balance for 1year what other things do you think i can add to tackle this denial. Please see attached GCMS note stating Lump sum from an unknown source and below the history of the financial statement submitted.

Sponsor Mum
GT Bank - 7.8 million (Mum received rent of 4.6 million in July for a whole building she letted out to a school she also paid 7,500 CAD half of 1 year tuition in August
UBA- 2.3 million (her salary account with monthly income of 285,000)

My Bank Statement
GT Bank- 2.5 million (Mum transferred 1.5 million to me and she stated it in the letter addressed to V.O)

Please note that i included rent receipt of the 4.6 million and all documents of the building but obviously the V.O did not check the document and still denied me on lump sum from an unknown source. The v.O also stated i included a third party sponsor which is false. There two statement from my mum and my GTBank LOA

Also, I am not really bent on academics with my years of experiences in HR, also I graduated with 2.2 hence going for a professional path of study with PGD.
PGD,PGC,MSC,PHD. Just put up a good applications and your TRV will be approved, beside people still put in for MSC and are refused... Tnx
