You’re a wise person. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for most Nigerians. The comments here is very scary. The sheer amounts of disloyalty and ingratitude in the heart of Nigerians is very alarming!

Politics / Re: Kano Reverses Ganduje’s Service Extension For 4,000 Workers by oshiokpu(m): 8:03am On Sep 12
atiku4President:

Based on what was reported here, where is the vindictiveness you are talking about? So you mean those who have reached retirement according to law should be allowed to keep blocking others who desire to be employed? Did you also not read that the governor did not sack all the 13,000 workers employed by Ganduja towards the end of his tenure. The governor only sacked children and corpers who were not yet qualified for employment. Why can't some of you reason with brain and avoid exposing a high level of foolishness in all matters affecting the country? It's a pity I find myself in the same space with idiots and fools.

I think that you’re are not just ignorant and idiotic, your foolishness is beyond redemption if the entire scope of my comments is lost on your idiotic self. You most likely would have to demand a return off fees paid to your English teacher. The fact again that you hurriedly jump on a comment that did not mention your name to throw insults around is also evident of your gutter training. Illiterate Ignorant Fool.!

This kind of vindictive governance makes no sense. No serious investor will invest serious money in a place where policy summersaults according to the whims and caprices of the government in office .
Governance should be about continuity. This is why Lagos keeps progressing. Other states should learn from Lagos!

Politics / Re: My Refinery Was Tinubu’s Dream 18 Years Ago – Aliko Dangote by oshiokpu(m): 7:46pm On Sep 03
emkz:
One thing that bothers me about Dangote's refinery is that NNPC has seized control of petrol sales.

Why would NNPC be the sole off-taker of NNPC refined petrol?

This is quite disturbing.

(1) Is Dangote not paying NNPC for the crude in naira?

(2) What sort of arrangement allows NNPC to be the sole buyer of the refined petrol from Dangote?

(3) What happens to the announcement that MRS Oil was to be one of the marketers of Dangote's refined petrol?

(4) Now that NNPC allegedly gave away all their retail outlets, what will change with the current practice of NNPC buying from Dangote and reselling to marketers? So NNPC will decide on the pricing model and still hold the monopoly for petrol? I don't think this is healthy. Dangote should be able to sell to all marketers who can fix prices based on their own costs.

(5) It won't be out of place if Dangote considers getting into the downstream business and LNG. We can't have too much of them.

(6) Dangote may need to publish the monthly output of refined petrol so we know what NNPC receives and NNPC must inform us of what goes to each state. Infact, there must be independent data analysts to track what goes from Dangote to NNPC to the public. We want to know what leaves Nigeria especially when the currencies of neighbouring countries are stronger than ours, which makes selling refined petrol to them more profitable.

Bro there is no need to criticize just for the sake of criticism. The government was worried about energy security and other monopolistic risks which is valid so by being the sole off-taker and buyer, the Government retains the ability to determine and control the eventual pump price of the product. So if Dangote is selling for 1k for example Government through NNPC can decide to sell either at a profit or loss if they want the masses to buy at a lower cost. It is a win-win situation for everyone involved at least no one can accuse Dangote of selling the product at an inflated price like they accused him of doing in Cement.

Politics / Re: Nobody Is Above This Party, PDP Tells Wike by oshiokpu(m): 4:44pm On Sep 03
Power is wherever men believe it is. If over 95% of the party members in Rivers say Wike is their leader, you cannot stay in Abuja and force them to call Fubara their leader just because he is now the Governor. You cannot be a leader if you have no followers. The Governor acted foolishly and shew his ungrateful side too early without having the numbers/followers to back him up. They dash him Governor that many people have been fighting for all their lives without success( just go and ask people like Tonye Cole, Dakuku Peterside, Magnus Abe howfar) now he is going to Abuja for people that did not know how he became Governor to give him party Leader abi structure. He is a very lucky man. Na him get luck pass for this world!!

The fiscal deficit is a reflection of the fiscal reforms and transparency that this administration is committed to.

I believe that in no distant time, we will get to a point where we will be able to fund our budget largely through our revenue and not through borrowing.

Lol. It is still subsidy now. To put it in perspective for those who live in Lagos. From the island where I live I can either follow thirdmainland bridge to Ikeja or I follow Eko bridge to Ikeja. The buttom line is that I still get to Ikeja! Different route, the same end result!

President of idiots calling another person idiot.
You're the one suppose to read more and do more research.
This case is against 36 states in Nigeria not against Rivers State.
19 states in Nigeria currently using Caretaker Committee in their LGAs not only in Rivers State.
Wke up from your slumber, stop disgracing yourself in public.

You are obviously a very dull person. Your dullness is so steep that it almost broke the screen of my device. It is not my fault that your dumb grade school teacher failed to teach you something as basic as Summary and Comprehension in English Language or maybe you were busy wanking off at mentions that did not carry your name instead of learning when you should. You should go back to school or take crash course in comprehension online as your Idiocy and lack of basic education is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. IDIOT.

you are the ignorant dolt here if you think Wike has anything to do with this judgment. Over twenty one states are affected by this judgment and this case has been dragging before the Rivers state crisis.
I see that you’re as stupid and idiotic as the person you’re attempting to defend. This case was initiated on the 26th of May and judgement was expedited in a manner not seen before in the judicial circle. One will even expect that you do a little search before displaying your idiocy and foolery in public but I’m not surprised. Jumping into a mention that didn’t carry your name is enough proof of your idiocy!

It is obvious that the expedited nature of this matter is because of what is happening in Rivers state. This shows that Wike has gone far above Rivers politics.

Goodvibes007:

You want him to jump from the frying pan into the fire.

The only thing he would do is to run to APC for protection from Wike. Only APC can get Wike off his back. It's obvious PDP have failed to protect him. PDP is a big for nothing party.

Bros no one can protect him. No career politician will waste their credibility on someone like Fubara who has shown himself to be disloyal and an ingrate. He is a political liability with zero political capital. All the people supporting him now are the same featherweight that have been fighting Wike without success for sometime in Rivers. The same people fought against the emergence of Fubara and supported Atiku only because they hated Wike. Now they are pretending to support Tinubu so he can protect fubara still because they hate Wike!

Nigerians actually don’t read. What you have there is not a court judgement rather an “Interlocutory injunction” I.e a temporary order to maintain status quo pending the final determination of the suit/judgment .

Both Sanusi and Adobayero are cousins but they have allowed politicians to put a siege between them and diminish the influence and legacy of their fore fathers because of greed. They are very educated so they have to know that whatever happens and whoever wins between them their family would still be the loser at the end of the day as their influence has diminished !

At this stage, I honestly don’t think this governor knows what he is doing. All his approach are text book approach for standard situations . A policy of increasing interest rates to curb inflation will never work in Nigeria because Nigeria’s situation is not standard .Manufacturers/SMEs are complaining that Interest rate is already too high yet the keep increasing it. Consumer lending is very negligible in Nigeria so when you increase rate you are only stifling lending to Manufacturers/Corporates/MSME who are supposed to be the drivers of the economy. If local manufacturers can not get cheap loans to finance production, how can you turn the economy around? How can you drive cost of Forex down? God please help us oh!

OKOATA:
On top diesel he never even sell 1 litre na in dey go up and down so.
This is false information. Dangote Diesel has been in the market for about 2 months now. I know this because I run a hospitality business in Lagos and diesel expense is one of my biggest expenses. For some time now we have been buying Diesel at between 1k and 1.1k per liter depending on the supplier down from between 1500 to 1800 before his product came to the market.
I still think that it is still too high as selling diesel at above 600 per liter will not do anything to curb inflation.

Kwaramustgoodag:
Same thing was said to wike during his first tenure.
You people just comment on things you know nothing about. Wike has never been a pushover in Rivers politics. He is what we call a homegrown politician, he defeated the candidate of a Sitting Governor in his first attempt . In fact he was at the forefront of the fight to restore the mandate of Amaechi when it was stolen and given to Omehia. Amaechi owes Wike not the other way round. Fubara should be scared because he has no men, he simply ran to the enemies of Wike for protection. He needs them which makes him weak. Wike is grounded!

Must every one be sacrifice for your ambition?

Why can you also sacrifice for peace to reign

It must not always be by your terms

Let me put this into perspective for you. Take your family for example, would you rather have a President from your family or the national chairman of the party? Is anything or anyone bigger than the President?
Politics / Re: Uche Secondus: Wike Brought Misery, Grief, Anguish To Rivers by oshiokpu(m): 9:04am On May 12
I understand why Secondus is angry with Wike, he helped Wike become the Party’s candidate and subsequently Governor when he was Rivers state PDP chairman but Wike rewarded him by fighting to make him the PDP national chairman. He has to understand that the decision to remove him from national chairman was so that they can fight legitimately for the Presidency to come to the South since we cannot have the party chairman and presidential candidate from the same region. Between presidency and party chairman which one is bigger? Nigerian politicians should learn to sacrifice small gains for the greater good, this is what makes Tinubu bigger than most of them. He started make sacrifices since 1999 without requesting for anything because he only wanted one thing which was the Presidency. He even sacrificed Vice presidency at some point. He was very correct when he said it was his Turn and most of the people had no choice because he has not asked them for anything since he helped them!
