robosky02:Let me put this into perspective for you. Take your family for example, would you rather have a President from your family or the national chairman of the party? Is anything or anyone bigger than the President? |
I understand why Secondus is angry with Wike, he helped Wike become the Party’s candidate and subsequently Governor when he was Rivers state PDP chairman but Wike rewarded him by fighting to make him the PDP national chairman. He has to understand that the decision to remove him from national chairman was so that they can fight legitimately for the Presidency to come to the South since we cannot have the party chairman and presidential candidate from the same region. Between presidency and party chairman which one is bigger? Nigerian politicians should learn to sacrifice small gains for the greater good, this is what makes Tinubu bigger than most of them. He started make sacrifices since 1999 without requesting for anything because he only wanted one thing which was the Presidency. He even sacrificed Vice presidency at some point. He was very correct when he said it was his Turn and most of the people had no choice because he has not asked them for anything since he helped them! |
Theoarhics:They are not the same case. Tinubu was 100% in charge. He had 100% control of his assembly and LGA chair. Fubara is not in charge, he only has 3 out of 30 Assembly members and 0 LGA chair supporting him. The people he has in his camp were the same paperweight politicians that supported Atiku against Wike in Rivers and lost. |
The people advising Fubara do not like him at all. How do you start a fight when you are not in control. You don’t have the assembly. You only have 3 out of 30. You don’t have the Local government chairmen. All 30 LGA chairmen are not with you. You also donot have majority of the commissioners. Common men, the country is govern by laws and this is a democracy. Unless he want to be lawless, this is not a fight he can win! |
He wasn’t rattled. He was just trying to be funny. I even think he liked the lady. Most men are like that. They turn into comedians when they are confronted with beautiful ladies they like. I don’t blame him though, the Lady is beautiful! |
This falling and Rising of Dollar is not good for business at all. If it is going to be 2k for 1 dollar , let’s leave it like that so businesses can plan and grow in the mid and long term. Thriving SMEs equals a thriving economy and Nothing kills businesses more than uncertainty ! |
Everyone needs prayers, the President and the Country inclusive! The more responsibility you have the more prayers you need. I wish the President God’s grace and speed! |
“Every government has a duty to do certain things, not only in the petroleum sector but in several other sectors, to be able to cushion the effect and burden on Nigerians.” Okay Oga, We believe you but you have to tell us the name of the certain things that the government is doing to reduce the price if it is not subsidy! |
I Dey look for the luxury I no see. This is basic now. |
He is very correct. It is not a difficult maths to do |
Easy guys. Na cruise jor. |
This one no concern me. Let Air-peace reduce their price for interstate travel. Na that one concern me. Air peace and other local carriers are conspiring to do the same thing they accused the foreign carriers Of doing. Interstate Airfares is too much! |

Diesel at more than 800 is still too expensive! It won’t do much to curb inflation |
I’m not surprised, Their Dad was Fearless and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! |
Will they also Eat 3 just times a week? |
This is laughable, Only market forces( demand and supply) can determine how people buy and sell I supported Tinubu because I think he had more relevant experience but we need to call a spade a spade. If he cannot perform let him step down please. |
It’s a no brainer. With dollar exchanging at about 1500 Naira the only way fuel can sell for 630 Naira is if someone else is paying the difference I.e subsidy. Because the pump price of fuel is directly proportional to exchange rate. |
toujurs:She is the one now. She was head of HR then. She interviewed me as well in 2016. Asking me what I was passionate about! |
But these na normal thing for Lagos now |
fawaz050:Bro money is everything everywhere |
I think Nigerians are sitting on a long thing here. Dangote Group is running a business not a charity. Put on a scale of preference, The company’s foremost obligation is to her creditors and to maximize value for her share holders. So If you sell crude to the company in dollars, it will be unfair to ask her not to sell products to off-takers in dollars because you will still be exposing the business to the same exchange rate risk faced by all importers. It is no different from him importing the Crude. I’m sure the company has a lot of dollar denominated loans so what happens to the business if( God forbid) the Naira is devalued further? My proposed solution: If the Nigerian government wants the company to sell products in Naira then they should give them the Crude in Naira. Otherwise they will still be sourcing for dollars to buy Crude after selling in Naira! |
kingralph:A very important question |
Don’t know about his claim.. but Oleku was Big men! |

Kobicove:This doesn’t make sense to me. Please explain how this can be. |
