Yes. I'm really rooting for the time Innoson goes into actual R & D to develop something truly indigenous. The only unique thing Innoson produces is the badge and even that is outsourced to a foreign company

The skid control ecu was replaced and ISC relearn was performed.

The car is okay to an extent.

However, the "check vsc system", some brake lights and a continuous beep come on at intervals for less than 2 minutes then go off completely.

The fact that you are still on here beats me.

Hi, I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid.
The 12v battery was changed recently and I noticed the "check vsc system" error code.

Now, it displays both "check hybrid system" and "check vsc system" error codes. It won't show ready when I start until I disconnect and reconnect the negative battery terminal.

I had someone scan it for me and I got the following codes.

This happened to me few weeks ago.

Pls correct the name. It is lexus IS 250 simple. Why do you have to put sport behind the name, lexus IS f sport is a v8 and different vehicle than this.

I experienced this same issue with a friend's ES300. I had to put paper somewhere on the throttle pedal so it could idle.

I have used this car before, no need to adjust the accelerator. There are two likely causes ONLY. Did you takeout the battery head at any point in time If you removed the battery head, the steaming would be low but after u drive it for sometime (a day or two) it will come back to normal, this actually happens cause of the ECM(brainbox) was cut from power and needs to read the movement of the engine all over again, it's normal and not an issue at all. Second solution is for you to get carbon spray and service the fuel injection nozzles (flushing them), they block often.

Toyota is the default vehicle of choice for drivers who don't care for or understand cars.
They just want something to get them from point A to B.
Asides the very few nice vehicles from Lexus which represents a tiny drop in a sea of rebadged Camrys, Lexus just gives people with this mindset nicer looking versions of the same car, even using the same chassis and in some models the same suspension.

Someone will say Toyotas are cheap to maintain when the cost of original front shock absorbers for a 2007 Toyota Camry is well over 100k

look at what this guy is saying like a day old. this op had to use an audi engine and put in a passat because according to him he couldnt find an engine for his passat and the mechanic couldnt figure out that the piece wont work until after he has mounted it put in all bolts and then one wire pops out. This same scenario cannot hapen with a regular toyota car in nigeria. that's my point take it or leave it.
