This most definitely is not gono end well for one of them, in my view Baraje faction. All is needed is for GEJ to shake OBJ small using the contentious Malabu oil business or even the Seimens scandal. Liaise with UK. OBJ seeing the damage it will cause calls 4 truce. Baraje faction will be deserted. Case closed. GEJ is too civil 4 my liking. Hound this moder4uckers and they fall in line. |
Is like Facrouk wants his case to receive accelerated hearing. Kirikiri prison dey hungry am. |
Absolutely. No time to look time. |
baynix: BORING!!Take d back seat. |
Desperation can make one act crazy. All these just to cajole GEJ out of 2015 election. Hmm Nawa ooo. I pity Amaechi the only alien among these guyz. I remember how these hypocritical governors schemed the then PDP chairman- Nwodo out simply bcuz he wanted to re-organize the party which invariably will take the control of the party out of the governors. He introduced online membership registration 4 d party. They raise fire n brimstone as dat will take control of d delegates out of their hands. The next thing, they cajoled GEJ into firing him just to appease them. Is good this brouhaha is happening cuz after d storm, loyal party members will stick n build a stronger PDP. |
The runner up is even more qualified to take up the Genco. Barth Nnaji, Chika dozie and dat Nestoil guy are serious minded business men. Emeka Offor shud go and sit down.Shm @ hiting dry well.Nemesis of corruption catching up on him. |
Hypocrites. Tmoro they will be shouting progressive progressive. Do they need to capture presidency b4 u run a clean corrupt free government ? I know hw Abike Dabiri fought 4 dis bill. Every Nigeria applauded it and here we r. What is d essence of paying the Lagislators if any law they make is nt binding on d state.Every Nigerian comes frm a state and if is only state assembly laws that are obeyed, den the Senator n house of rep shud kwukwuma pack up. This shows that Fashola is hiding somtin. FOI bring transparency and helps to reduce corruption and any state governor that is against it is a corrupt governor.Period |
North is disintegrated. Middle belt is gone, now Tafa Balewa son. GEJ till 2019 |
How to do things has never been our problem. The bureaucratic bottlenecks occasioned by our weak institution are the problems. Is been long FG is trying to free up the space in electricity generation and distribution for investors to come in , but look at how long it has taken just to pay off the PHCN workers. I wud like to hear how they intend to achieve that. Are they going to continue from where GEJ stopped( in that case GEJ is doing something right in that angle), or will they map out another way as is typical with Nigeria politicians- which always want to start their administration by pushing aside every policies and actions undertaken by their predecessors. They shud tell us how to achieve that. Else this is total hogwash. |
SON of the First Republic Prime Minister of Nigeria, Alhaji Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Dr. Abdujelil Tafawa Balewa has declared that the much-touted quest for power shift to the north being championed by leader of the Northern Elders Forum(NEF) Professor Ango Abdullahi and the Arewa Consultative Forum(ACF) remains personal opinions of the leaders, which he said do not represent the views of generality of the north. Dr. Tafawa Balewa, who spoke to newsmen on Wednesday, said that each group within the polity was free to express its views, adding, however, that the views remain personal opinions. According to him, Ango Abdullahi and any other group were expressing “the views of the Northern Elders Forum.” He said that he would support a situation whereby President Goodluck Jonathan continues in office for a second term in 2015. He said: “Constitutionally, President Goodluck Jonathan has every right as a Nigerian citizen to run for a second term. You can count on me, I will vote for him. There has never been and even before independence, until now, a president that has done so well and seen within our society that women who constitute about half of the population are now being moved up in our ministries and several embassies all over the world. He also stated that people of the north are politically enlightened to know where to cast there votes without the pressure from groups and individuals. “Democracy is about education. If you are able to convince the citizenry of what it is that you are offering. If they agree with you, they would vote for you. If they see what it is that you are doing and it is the right thing for their children and for the future generation, they will vote for you,” he said. He, however, declared that he sees nothing wrong in the agitation by different groups. According to Dr Tafawa Balewa, the time has ome for Nigeria to move from primordial dichotomies and unite the country behind candidates who could move the contry forward. He further said: “In a democracy, everyone has a right to express himself. It is incumbent on whoever wants to speak for a political party, a regional party to say what it is that they want. So, I see nothing wrong with that. “Northerners are more politically savvy than you may think. You can imagine cattle herders coming from Maiduguri or Kano coming to the South, they will have their radios plastered to their ears, listening to BBC. They know what is going on around the world and are more current than you think and unlike here in the South where people are so immersed in different other things, commerce and so on, the northern citizen is very politically savvy and they need to be convinced of what your intentions are.” He further stated that he was convinced looking at the situation on ground that the Jonathan government has performed well. http://www.tribune.com.ng/news2013/index.php/en/news/item/19688-2015-ango-abdullahi,-acf-not-speaking-for-the-north-%E2%80%94tafawa-balewa%E2%80%99s-son.html |

This is what happens when out of anger and envy you hurriedly merge so as to wrestle power from your opponent. This is a tip of the icebarg. Problem will start wen it is time to share positions. |
Nigeria politicians and their lies. Even when u catch a naija politician stealling he will tell u hez just arranging it. Dat house of rep midget comes to mind. Atiku half of ur GTB bank shares alone can close Don Jazzi and em loyal milk mouth. What about ur American university , what of Onne free trade zone, Intels.. Hmm lying like dis on sunday ? SMH |
A drowning party. How is GEJ contesting next election a 3rd term. They are discovering that the odds are against them and av started whipping up propaganda and conjectures to hoodwink the gullibles. By fielding a thinking leader not a kindergarten GEJ u mean using Buhari right . Sorry na ur name. |
This probably could explain why Amaechi has been silent even after IG of police said CP Mbu remains the state CP. Is high time they smell the coffee. Atiku cant 4get such a blonder in a hurry. |
I cant believe i had to go through the whole write up. Irrespective of how engaging and sometimes utter trash soo many of them sounded , I wud want to draw one thing here : It seems most of these Americana ( in the voice of Chimamanda Adichie ) looks at Nigeria as a shithole where one cant make it. I beleive Nelly on the fact that u dont pray to God to come do what ur supposed to do for ursef, like praying for light to be restored. But denigrating the entire citizens for how Nigeria is is utter rubbish. |
Ngige’s time to go? As citizens boo, stone him in Awka Anambra citizens may have sounded a stern note of warning that his time and days are over, to their once darling libero and deliverer from the shackles of money politics, gangsterism and godfatherism, Senator Chris Ngige’s, when they pelted him with pure water at a political rally on Friday. The senator who drove into the Ayom N’okpala Primary School arena for the maiden rally on the platform of the newly registered All Progressives Congress APC in frenzy was ironically not allowed to talk when the time came. It was scheduled for him to unveil his Anambra 2014 GUBER ambition Though reasons for the unruly behavior of the party members were not made formal, it was gathered that the recent comments of the former governor and now the senator representing ANAMBRA Central zone on the raging controversy between the recent deportation of some Igbos from Lagos by the Lagos State Governmnet. Ngige’s was widely reported as having defended and excused the action of the Gov Babtunde Fashola-led Lagos state government. APC members in the state, especially the youth were said to have been bitter with him over the stand he took. Though they also blamed Gov Peter Obi for the entire imbroglio, pointing out that Obi had never lived up to expectation in protecting and or defending the indigenes of the state whenever it matters. They noted that Obi was always the last to come to the rescue of ANAMBRA people in other troubled states or areas. That it was same during the spate of bombings, retrenchment of non indigenes by unfriendly state governments. Dr Godson Igwe from Awka Etiti who spoke to journalists at the rally ground on behalf of the APC youth wing said they have privately advised him to drop his ambition for the younger ones, and to concentrate in his duties at the senate. The youth according to Igwe was also not happy that the only time Ngige’s remembers anyone was at election time, but once after that he disappears. He pointed out that there are young and capable ones like Senator Annie Okonkwo, Goddy Ezeemo in APC,, Uche Ekwunife, Willy Obianor, Chinedu Idigo in APGA, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, Joseph Nwanueze in Labour Party, Walter Ubaka Okeke, Tony Nwoye and Charles Odunukwe in PDP who are now aspiring to take over from Peter Obi. “Therefore lets sound a note of warning to the sit tight leaders cos we are around and watching”, Chief Igwe emphasized. Many we’re also unhappy that he planned the rally on a day the PDP was having their own rally in same Awka, a ploy they saw as tactical to stop them from participating in robust politicking in the state as done in other developed democracies around the world. http://247ureports.com/anambra-youth-stone-boo-ngiges-in-awka/ |
That is a tip of the iceberg. When it comes to blowing to the rooftop they will " carry first" . One thing av noticed with most critics is that some are just best at being critics than being on the field. That is the likes of Lai Muhamed. How has he affected his immediate community. U dont need the federal platform b4 u cud make an impact. |
Expect a back hand stroke from Abati or Okupe himsef. Those guyz sure do know hw to trow punches. |
This is serious Gobe for APC. See the kind of people they r courting: Danjuma, Tambuwal. They wud av gone for Mustapher if nt dat GEJ snaped him up. This is to show that they don't hv people of presidential xter in their fold. They hv to eventually settle foe Buhari which ivariably will be an easy ride for GEJ.Nasir Rufai n Ribadu are out of d equation ofcourse. GEJ just keep shooting d bulls eye. |
niggadee: you do not have a clue who are the lagosiansD clue is what am asking. Can one be from two state same time. Or ur saying Lagos is no-man's land. Come clean man. |
Okorocha's desperation to contest presidency is driving him nut. He thinks with the North agitation profusely for presidency they will give SE the vp slot and that will fall under his laps. Akuko. If for anything SW gets nothing, they will abandon Tinubu and his co-hots. daz one hell of mistake Tinubu will not afford to make. |
niggadee: he represents Lagos because ijebus are lagosian as well and they Build a Strong Political Organization in lagosU better come up with something meaningful. Soo an Ijebu man is a Lagosian as well as an Ogunite (if there is something like that.) |
I dont get it. Does it mean the guy is from Ogun state ? How come he represents Lagos in the red chamber. |
International airport in Enugu. Dry port in Aba. Seaport in Anambra. What will be in Imo state.I guess cuz the place is clean to attract tourist. I just love d way things are distributed among Igbo states. Ohh less I 4get. Wat of Ebonyi state. |
